It's SO COOL to run into someone that watches your channel. It's hard to think on the spot. I've done the same thing, felt like a jerk that I didn't say more or do more. But the "fame" 😂😂😂 is definitely fun! Good for you! 🎉
It was really sweet to have someone recognize me from my videos!! I just never really thought that would happen! Plus, I'm typically dressed in "redneck, country bumpkin" style, so it really shocks me!! But honestly, I could care less for the "fame". It's certainly not why I make videos. I think it's so cool that I had inspired someone to possibly start their own TH-cam channel!! No better fame than to be an inspiration for others!! ❤️❤️
I couldn't help it, lol!! I remember the good ole news media talking non-stop about the "is the dress black or blue?" several years ago. People were actually arguing about it!! It cracked me up!! 🤣😂🤣
It was so sweet of this lady to come up and say hi!! I'm not sure what I should have done though. Asked her to say hi to everyone, take a photo... I don't know, lol. It didn't even cross my mind that maybe I should have done something until after she'd already left. I have ZERO ambition to be "famous" in any way. I'm just a regular Midwest gal who you may see out thrifting in muck boots and a camo hat!! Definitely not a "designer" kind of lady, lol. ❤️❤️
I don't think I found a comp for that exact one, but on average Tony Carter's teapots seem to sell (at least on eBay) for $25 - $70. It looks like there's at least a few currently listed for sale online for about $65. Uggghhh... It was $12, and I just kept thinking "I have teapots to list". But I agree!! Titanic is very collectible!! I definitely should have grabbed it!! ❤️❤️
I've noticed the problem. Sometimes I can hear you good (like today) but sometimes I can't hardly hear you at all. Amanda, I'm collecting face mugs if you find any. Thanks.
I think the little mic will help. The audio I thought was easier to hear on this one, so I've been filming using my mic on the videos since. But... I noticed on the video I was editing last night that my freaking hair was rubbing on the mic. I had worn my hair down because of my stocking cap, and all be darned if it didn't interfere!! It's always the little things that you'd never think of!! Lol, I'm constantly learning!! I'll definitely keep an eye out for face mugs for ya!!
I think the heart-shaped trinket box and the plaques with the blonde girls were hobbyist pieces ... so not a lot of profit in them. I didn't like the Nativity set ... the figures weren't well carved.
The shelves are full, love ❤️ that!
There was definitely no lack of inventory at either place!! Which I love!!
