1. By car From Bangkok, you can take 2 routes: Take Highway No. 1 (Phaholyothin) to Saraburi Province. Turn right onto Highway No. 2 (Mittraphap) to Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Then take Highway No. 226 through Buriram Province to Surin Province, a total distance of approximately 434 kilometers. Take Highway No. 1 (Phaholyothin) to Saraburi Province. Turn right onto Highway No. 2 (Mittraphap) until Sikhio District. Take Highway No. 24 (Chok Chai-Det Udom), passing Chok Chai District, Nang Rong District, and Prakhon Chai District. Then turn left onto Route 214 in Prasat District. Continue driving to Surin Province. The total distance is approximately 450 kilometers.
2. By bus There are air-conditioned buses of the Transport Company Limited and the private Bangkok-Surin route. Depart from the Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2) and Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road every day, several times a day. It takes about 6 hours to travel. By train The State Railway of Thailand offers trains from Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lamphong) and Thonburi Railway Station to Surin every day, including normal, rapid, express, and special express trains. Minibuses run from the bus station to various places in the city. I did hear of the Providence of the surin before never been there before until watching this video It's very interesting to see people are more modern nowadays than back in the sixty. An excellent video I enjoyed watching and learning about another great providence of Thailand.
