Thank You so much for making this video.. I just bought my son this scooter and I’m was worried sick how I’m going to assemble it! Watching this video has given me some confidence that I can do it! 👍🏽
I just tried to assemble the scooter for my daughter and tried to follow the instructions. Unfortunately the manual shows that retaining clips should be used for the front wheel and the back wheel. I just saw your video and I will try to use the retaining clips for the front wheel instead of the rear wheel. I contacted the company about this issue and waiting to hear from them. Thanks. 04-24-19: So I got the extra retaining clips from the distributor. I believe it is Pacific Cycle, but I never used them. I think the instructions that came with the scooter are old and not updated and still tells you to use retaining clips for the rear tire. I believe the provided stepped washer is an updated replacement and seems to work well. Hope his helps.
I put one of these together a while ago. The wheels only came with 2 retaining clips (should've been 4). I would put the retaining clips on for the BACK wheels since they could come up/off easier, the front wheels are held down by the forks more. I'm now looking for wheel bearings, front wheel bearings literally disintegrated!!
Do you know of any more detailed videos of the scooter assembly that I can watch? Your video skips or speeds through several steps. I'm not a technician and this is the first bike I've (attempted) to assemble. I'm frustrated by the lack of detailed instructions.
I know your comment is old but maybe this will help others. Heres a link to a similar video with detailed instructions as well... th-cam.com/video/ITmhZvNnOrQ/w-d-xo.html
We are unable to get the front brake cable to come up out of the stem binder bolt. It is almost as if the end of the cable is welded to the bolt. Do you have any tips about getting it up through the bolt? Thanks for the video!
Yes. Easier than I thought. The cable's and brakes come pre installed. All you need to do is make the final connection and adjust the handles to your own liking. Thanks for watching.
+Romelious Desmus Maximus There's no height adjustment for the handle bars. I'm 5'11" and it feels "ok". I believe weight would be more of a limiting factor. I weigh 195 lbs and there is some deflection when i stand on it.
I tried to adjust the stem and unscrewed the stem bolt. Now I have problem tightening it back!??? Why is it so hard to tighten it back? I tried to screw and turn, it just didn't tighten! Why???!!!
I'm contemplating getting this for easy travel around a rather hilly town, specificaly for it's similarities to a bicycle, but with the ease of a scooter. Based on your experience putting it together, do you think it can possibly handle a small trailer attached to the rear?
You instructed to zip tie the brake. I did. You never put the front brake together or discussed when to undo zip tie. Just seems a lot of detailed steps were not discussed. Currently looking for other videos.
Great scooter for country living.....good help and ideas for all "dads"
I had one when I was a kid in the ‘80s. Brings back memories.
Thank you so much for doing this video! Really helpful.

I had that same problem and had to tighten the brakes to get it to come out.
What tools are needed to assemble? Does the bike come with allen wrench for example? Great quality video.
are the brakes and the cable detangler that easy to assemble ? i dont wanna screw up my nephews scooters

How do you adjust the brakes?
wish I was able to keep mine from the 80s!....question!..how high is the bottom of the frame to the ground? sending you love from the uk x
is the handle bar can be adjusted higher for adult?

@@joelphmah5784 that's the problem I am having. Did you ever resolve your issue? If so, how?

I'm sure a trailer attachment could be fashioned. It may be cumbersome with the added weight in hilly areas. Good luck!
Better than the other videos by far but still falls far short as it misses a bunch of steps and key areas that should be focused on.

yo, I looked this video up so I could see how the brakes are put together... missed that step
foldable?
