12:01- It took me some years to figure out that was a crack pipe. Because as a child, my innocent head couldn't figure it out. 12:30- Interesting story about this scene, when I watch this film I was 10 years old on our old DVD player. And for the longest time whenever I got to this part the film would freeze and skip to the next scene. So for years I never knew what that "prayer" was Christelle said. I now know it was God protecting my innocence by censoring that satanic witchcraft so I wouldn't be exposed to that. I thank God for looking out for me in ways that I didn't notice until years after.
I can’t stand his wife. She was the worst character in the movie treating Nate Johnson dirty and disrespectful. He deserved a better wife. She’s a good mother but a stupid wife to him. Overall this movie is still funny and great. What I love about Nate is that even though he can be misguided, he’s still a funny lovable hard working family man who deserves a better wife.
