Tosco Music Open Mic - Funky Geezer sings "Sweet, Sweet World"

NOT YOUR AVERAGE MUSIC VENUE, NOT YOUR AVERAGE OPEN MIC -- For more than 15 years now, Tosco Music has hosted an eclectic, supportive, family-friendly evening of singalongs and solo performances from all ages and experience levels, once a month (usually on first Wednesdays) at The Evening Muse in the NoDa area of Charlotte, NC. Every month since the first month The Evening Muse opened, we enjoy a unique gathering of music lovers of all kinds -- you might see a 9 year old stun you with his a capella version of a soul classic, a 70 year old surprise you with a sweet ballad, a 40-something banker-by-day, singer-songwriter-by-heart share an original song, or a trio of teens take the room by storm with unexpected skill and talent.
At Tosco Music Open Mic in June 2018, #FunkyGeezer shared his gratitude for The Evening Muse and warmed all of our hearts with his original song "Sweet, Sweet World".
We never know who we'll see or what special gifts of music we'll be treated to -- come enjoy the music, or share your own!
Tosco Music audiences are the most enthusiastic supporters of musicians of all kinds, and first-time performers of all ages are especially welcomed.
Sign ups start at 7pm, the singalong circle starts at 7:30 and performances start at 8pm.

Tosco Music is a nonprofit organization that has been enhancing community through music in Charlotte, NC for the past 30 years. Born from intimate living room jam sessions, Tosco Music Parties have grown into popular community concerts where nationally recognized acts share the stage with undiscovered artists and audience members are invited to sing along throughout the evening.
From concerts and open mic nights to music scholarships, singalong parties in senior communities and other music outreach, Tosco Music is dedicated to helping the community explore, develop and share their passion for music in all its forms.
