Don’t know why these guys are so criticized they are ROCK so they may sound like Zeppelin a little but where else are you supposed to get your influences from as a musician Zeppelin should be proud that they launched guys like these. I can honestly say I'm impressed. When they first emerged, I thought they were alright. But as time goes by, they just keep getting better and better They are actually reminding me of REAL CONCERTS from back in the day !!! LOVING IT !!!
@Anubis If I thought this band were something amazing I would say it. There's nothing original about them. There's nothing new going on here. They've taken a sound that not many people today grew up with and they've recycled it. Simple as that. They got a zillion hits on TH-cam and some promoter gave them a record deal. People like me who grew up with Zeppelin look at GVF and just go... Ffffft!!. I'd rather listen to the real thing. I don't find much in their music that moves me. When I listen to "Going to California" or "Battle for Evermore" the guitar MOVES me. There's an emotional connection to the music. GVF haven't learned how to write yet. If these guys were all fat and bald nobody would give a flying fuck about their music.
I just saw them at Shaky Knees and they were the best show by far. Absolutely incredible! I have never seen a greater concert, and they only had an hour and 10 minute slot.
Extremely impressed. I grew up about 5 miles from Red Rocks. Climbed both those rocks, Castle and Ship Rock, used to sneak into the place after closing (this was way before they put up locked gates) and party and play our guitars right on the stage. The acoustics are phenomenal. Got caught sneaking into Willie Nelson concert by one of his roadies and our punishment was to stand next to WN the whole concert right behind the acoustic barriers. I know almost every inch of Red Rocks, even have a nice scar from wrecking on my skate board on Snake Road in 1979.
Finally, a song that showcases Sam and his awesome bass guitar talent. Jake follows and compliments Sam's runs, and Daneils's drumming is beastly good. What a strong drummer.
It's ten bucks a month but TH-cam Red/Premium gets rid of commercials and lets you play the audio from a video while turning off your phone screen. I consider it a worthwhile investment, considering how much time I spend watching videos on here.
Whoever edited this video, is a visual arts master. Thank you! I have often suspected Josh Kiszka of having four lungs, he is so strong..Never has a rock vocalist taken me to Nirvana, as his voice has done. This band of brothers is worthy of 1000 accolades. I want to say more, but I have to dance now....
OMG!! Soo talented, this isn't rip off it's homage and done very, very well. Haven't heard anything this good for a long time in this genre. Made me feel like a young teen again. Impressed is an understatement
It's appears to me that this is Rock Opera! I love it and have been waiting for it for 57 years to be exact! The music is pure. I hope you never get corrupted 💖
All I know is, releasing the Red Rocks vids during this mostly unpleasant time has revived my soul--and I get to relive one of the best nights of my life over and over. Thank you GVF!!!
I am in a wheelchair, but they get me on my feet, I play them ouitside on my deck with bluetooth speakers. Someone calls to Po Po on me everytime, I don’t give a shit, what are they gonna do with a old man in a wheelchair. Fuck um all !!!
I just wanna know why so many people came on this video just to comment and talk crap? Like do y’all not have lives? Do something with yourself and let us love what we love.
It's older people going through the part of their lives were they can't fathom anything better than what was cool in their youth and they have to be vocal about it It's the cycle
@Hi zee, you need to scroll around and read some of the other comments from folks in my generation who think these guys are awesome. Like me... I’m practically old enough to be their grandma, and there are plenty of others around my age range making really positive comments about GVF. We’re VERY proud younger generations are keeping the hard rock we grew up with alive-while putting their own stamp on it. As for me, whenever this virus nonsense calms down enough for these boys to go back out on tour, I’ll be there with bells on! They friggin’ ROCK. 🤘🏼😎
Hard to comment when you are speechless - This is mindblowingly awesome. I cannot find words that convey the pure love I have for these four amazing guys and my gratitude for giving people something to feel again.
WOW! is all I can say about GVF! I'm 53 and these kids have renewed my hope that straight up rock from he 70's will make a comeback! Fantastic! Plus, they're from my home state!

It does have me wondering if a lot of it is improv - like The Dead . but with the intensity of Nugent ( who kinda showed up there, at about 20:00 minute point ! ) and the talent of the Who or Zep .
Im 62 my neice turned me on to them. I was never a fan of acid rock, but they are well equipped to turn me into a complete and utter Fan! I cant get enough🎉Josh, Sam, Jake and Danny, Lord have mercy!!!

I'm just glad some younger kids are listening to rock. and I actually starting to dig gvf.
@Anubis, amen & hallelujah to THAT. I couldn’t have stated it better. 🤘🏼😎
@@roquefortfiles Except with their own original music.
I'm 28 and these guys make me feel 26 again
I'm 55 and get the same vibe ! :) and Yes Eduardo, Talk on the Street would be very cool to see live !
51 here!! Same!! 💕❤️💕
Wow! How much difference lol
I am 30 and these guys make me feel 29 years, 11 months, and 22 days again
BAHAHAH
Just saw them in concert a week ago. Hands down the best concert I’ve ever seen. The music was off the chain and the theatrics was awesome!
I did too. Best damn concert ever and I've been to lots!!
I just saw them at Shaky Knees and they were the best show by far. Absolutely incredible! I have never seen a greater concert, and they only had an hour and 10 minute slot.
@@tc1754 yeah man! Glad to see true rock isn’t dead.
Wow!! I'm 65 and loving these young guys!! They are putting in the work!!🤘❤
I haven’t fangirl this much to a band in a while... LOVE YOU GUYSSSSS
I'm not a girl but I LOVE YOOOOOUUUUUU GUYSSSSSSSS❤
Same!! And I’m an old lady!! 😂
I know exactly how you feel! I’ve never been so passionate about a band EVER! 🔥❤️
After all the "music" in this era ..... FUCKING LOVE YOU GUYSSSS !!!!!
Might be time to grow up.
This whole Red Rocks concert video series has been incredible to watch and listen to. Now if I could just purchase a copy without TH-cam ads.
Yes, plus some real backstage/behind the scenes footage!
It's ten bucks a month but TH-cam Red/Premium gets rid of commercials and lets you play the audio from a video while turning off your phone screen. I consider it a worthwhile investment, considering how much time I spend watching videos on here.

Pure raw jammin on the spot... This is what we call feels. Cannot be found in the mainstream music nowadays
These guys feed off of each other and are spot on!!!! They are great musicians and artists!!!
THESE YOUNG MEN ARE SIMPLY THE SAVIORS OF ROCK SEE YOU GUYS IN 2021 IN DETROIT THE HOME OF ROCK AND ROLL
“THE” best performance of “Lover her “ to date, bar none…..PERIOD
A friend told me about this band today.. Listened half of a song, thats it already a HUGE FAN!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Music simply does not get better than this.
Still loving this show!!!!
All I know is, releasing the Red Rocks vids during this mostly unpleasant time has revived my soul--and I get to relive one of the best nights of my life over and over. Thank you GVF!!!
I love that they’re plugged in, it keeps those that have never seen them or the video wonder why they’ve never heard of them.
i’m sorry but jake using the mic stand as a slide is just immaculate
He’s god
How many went to see Metalicca and found these guys! In their early 20s . Think of where they go!!!!
How could you not like this Band, Awesome.
Greta van fleet straight into the rock&roll history
I think this band has single handedly bright back rock music. ❤
Learn how to proof read next time please.
Hell yes
I’m 71 years old and I am a Rock n Roll lover from way back, these kids might just be the best I have ever heard.
I am in a wheelchair, but they get me on my feet, I play them ouitside on my deck with bluetooth speakers. Someone calls to Po Po on me everytime, I don’t give a shit, what are they gonna do with a old man in a wheelchair. Fuck um all !!!
@@rainbowcow4763 Wow even the jr high english teacher likes them.
Danny's double kicks and work at the end of the encore is a real testament to his strength and stamina as a first class drummer. Awesome.
BEST LIVE SHOW EVER!!!!
I just wanna know why so many people came on this video just to comment and talk crap? Like do y’all not have lives? Do something with yourself and let us love what we love.
Thank you! I was thinking the same thing!
totally agree
It's older people going through the part of their lives were they can't fathom anything better than what was cool in their youth and they have to be vocal about it
It's the cycle
@Hi zee, you need to scroll around and read some of the other comments from folks in my generation who think these guys are awesome. Like me... I’m practically old enough to be their grandma, and there are plenty of others around my age range making really positive comments about GVF. We’re VERY proud younger generations are keeping the hard rock we grew up with alive-while putting their own stamp on it.
As for me, whenever this virus nonsense calms down enough for these boys to go back out on tour, I’ll be there with bells on!
They friggin’ ROCK. 🤘🏼😎
They need to release huge live album with multiple concerts like Live at Irvine. That show was sick
I stay up every night way too long to listen and watch GvF.....Red Rocks has been so extra special! Wish I'd known them before mothersday 2024....😅
Its so good to hear those guitar plays in this generation
Hard to comment when you are speechless - This is mindblowingly awesome. I cannot find words that convey the pure love I have for these four amazing guys and my gratitude for giving people something to feel again.
i’m having such a rough depressing day. i really needed this. thank you greta van fleet.
4 young gifted rockers together! What are the odds?! Cant stop listening to GVF!
You guys are the Men of Classic Rock ,, God bless ,, rock is back again !! I'm 54 and haven't heard such great music since the '70 's
WOW! is all I can say about GVF! I'm 53 and these kids have renewed my hope that straight up rock from he 70's will make a comeback! Fantastic! Plus, they're from my home state!
The production quality of this series of videos was fabulous and so was their performance. These guys are really growing and evolving.
Seriously, I had never heard such a voice before. Their talent is breathtaking. An alchemy emerges from them when they play together, it is absolutely incredible to see and hear
It does have me wondering if a lot of it is improv - like The Dead . but with the intensity of Nugent ( who kinda showed up there, at about 20:00 minute point ! ) and the talent of the Who or Zep .
@David Wang I agree that they are better than Zepplin was at this point in their career.
I waited for 20 years for a Band Like this! I am a big Fan of Zeppelin, Nirvana and Rage against the Machine! Go on guys!!!!
Great Band. That's how rock music has to be. Greetings from Germany.
Grüße zurück
Im 62 my neice turned me on to them. I was never a fan of acid rock, but they are well equipped to turn me into a complete and utter Fan! I cant get enough🎉Josh, Sam, Jake and Danny, Lord have mercy!!!
Danny needs more solos
I could watch these guys just jam for hours...😎
I will always envy the people who got to see this in person ❤❤❤
I listened to rock for the first 50 years. I'm going to listen to these guys for the next 50.
The thought that dwells in the light, from bottom of my heart, thank you for Greta Van Fleet.
I really like you can hear all their influences in their music. Led, stones, Sabbath, deep purple, the who. Fucking brilliant.
Tour manager: 'you're aloud to do a encore, but only 2 songs.'
GvF: sure....25 min later.
Thank you GvF for this amazing show!!
See GVF last sunday (12 november 2023) in Brussels, Belgium in the Starcatcher tour. OMG, what a show 😊 they are really amazing 😮
I follow GVF since 5 years and they are just unbelievable 😊 the bassline of Sam are incredible
The
these guys are great, guitar player is unbelievable good
Josh’s vocal starting at 11:14 is so awesome that I always feel like time slows down. I lost count of how many times I’ve played this video. ❤️❤️❤️
I have enjoyed this "Live at the Redrocks" series, thanks mates
You and me both bro 🙌
These guys are doing it really well, the guitar is literally speaking and Josh' voice is amazing. Rock n roll is still alive. Greetings from Colombia.
The first time I ever laid eyes on GVF was in their Highway Tune video. Ohhhh mama! 😍
