I got emotional during her ghungroo puja ...similarly my guru ji offered me ghungroo when i was only 3years old ..when i grew little older he got heavenly abode ...i don't know much about kathak ..but whenever i wear ghungroo my soul dance ...
Even i learned at small age and I got emotional with ghunghroo puja and when ta thae started it came back in flashes... Many good souls learned and teaches kathak 🙏

This is what we called true learning. The process itself is the result there is no goals to achieve. In today's education we have lost this meaningfullness of life. We have became just sheep following blindly. We don't know what we doing where we are going. I'm feeling sad we have lost the beauty of it.

This episode reminds of two things. One is how I use to follow every shoe on classical dance on DD National, DD India and DD Bharti The another thing is how my guru touched my feet and tied ghungru for the very first time when I started Bharatnatyam
I remember my guru tying my gungurus . It was hecking painful . N just my first stage performance. She wanted to make sure it won’t came undone while dancing. Never asked her to tie my gungurus or belt . I m odissi dancer.
