Gracias por tu reacción!!!Dimash fue con la comitiva del presidente de Kazajistán a Francia,él es el mejor embajador de su país 😊Saludos desde Argentina!!!🤗👋👋🇦🇷
As someone else said, those was a state dinner given by the president of France, Macron, in honor of the president of Kazakhstan. At the dinner he was seated at the main table next to ex president Sarcozy and his wife Carla Bruni. She posted lovely comments about how wonderful it was to hear the “great Kazakh singer”, thanking him for his voice , his humility, and kindness and saying, “thank you for existing.” !😊
Not sure if you noticed but this performance was a special performance at the state dinner held in honor of the visiting President of Kazakhstan by the President of France Macron at his residence the Élysée Palace in Paris France. You see both Presidents sitting at the front of the huge dining hall (in front of Dimash) at the end of the song SOS with huge smiles on their faces while speaking excitedly to each other. Dimash was sitting at the Presidential table sitting next to the former French first lady, Carla Bruni. I'm sure he was asked by the Kazakh President to attend the dinner and perform for the dignitaries (my opinion). Remember Dimash is also a dignitary himself, having been appointed as the Regional Goodwill Ambassador for the UN IOM for Asia. He was also appointed as one of the 5 Goodwill Ambassadors for the XIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and is the only non religious leader to be appointed. Dimash was also in Paris for what appears to be meetings to arrange for a stadium for a concert in Paris France and fashion shoots for several high fashion designs for men at Lanvin Fashion House and one other I can't think of right now. Busy little bee, our Dimash! 😅
Thank you so very much for filling in all of my questions about this performance. No one ever mentions the President of Kazakhstan being there, or what the occasion is. I knew there had to be more to the story.
Thank you for your reaction. Did you notice the pin on his jacket? The dove of peace. Dimash always appreciates the opportunity to participate in cultural exchanges.
Dimash has been with his president several times when the latter made a state visit or attended a summit with other world leaders. It seems that President Macron of France liked the performance as shown by a genuine clapping of his hands after Dimash's performance. Another performance of his that I like most is the one in China during the China-Central Asia summit. The audience comprised delegates from the five central Asian countries headed by their respective presidents and President Xi of China as host. On that occasion, Dimash sang the Chinese song entitled "Thousand of Miles, a Common Dream."
great reaction! And yes, I was in a state of shock this week in the US too 🤬. I love all your Dimash reactions. Sure wish we could have been sitting there listening to this! The Paris president's wife had a lot of good things to say about him, his singing and his character. 💜
@@jennifersmusicpage Hi Jennifer, I posted about the reaction and my reaction request at the top level. I didn’t want to say this up there. I to was devastated on Tuesday. I’m in California so we mostly kept our sanity. I hope you are safe. I see a hate post on the top level as I’m writing this. If this was my channel he’d be banned. It really is sad. His post is obvious. Jim and Tori released the song on Wednesday and let me tell you, it helped. Music helps heal and get your mind soothed as this song does, certainly it did back in my youth when Karen sang it. This gave me something beautiful to work on. I’ve been requesting Tori reaction for a year now. I was the first and still the most. Only my friend Ron is up there with me since we met in February. I asked for We’ve Only Just Begun earlier and I’m guessing you didn’t want to do it? You loved Suddenly so I thought you’d love to see what Tori is really known for, Carpenters covers. Close To You will be a great example, too. I hope you take a look at it. Thank you and be well and safe. Joe Edit: I forgot. Like you would love to see Dimash in person. I had that opportunity to see Tori in person last April. It was her second ever live performance and it was at the Carpenters 55th Anniversary, where she was one of 8 invited acts to perform. She also got to meet Richard on the last of the four night event. He’s known of her since last year.
If you get a chance, there is actually a more complete version of this performance starting w his handshake w Macron, then SOS, the Daididau, then his goodbye handshake w Macon. I love the daididau performance there
Hi Jennifer, Yes, Wow! I’m new to Dimash so still being blown away. You mentioned pitch, his was to my ear, amazing. The person I want to recommend for your second listen is essentially pitch perfect. In the song I will link, there is a long final note, she’s on the D4-Sharp almost flatlined. No pitch correction, no autotune. It’s her. She’s doing it through the song, just that last note is a standout. You saw her upper range when you watched “Suddenly” in her duet with Dan. I’m going to link the new song she and James just released on Wednesday. It is a Carpenters cover, their iconic first #1 hit; Close To You. By James Wilkas and ft. Tori Holub. I hope you give it a spin. I think you will find it most interesting. Oh BTW, James is a retired music teacher and among his instruments he plays Sax. Not in this video though. If you want to see him on 3 levels of Sax, I have another video for you. Thank you for your time and fun reaction. Joe Close To You: th-cam.com/video/ytncWacUKJE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aqEC3Q6g7pT8y-2m .
He isn't lip syncing. Its him singing on the backing track, and he is singing live here. He has a backing track as all musicians do, as he doesn't have an orchestra travelling with him. All musicians need to do this or they would have no musical accompaniment ❤
It is in fact him singing live on top of his own track, so basically you hear two Dimashes, that’s why sometimes it sound like there is an “echo” which is not the exact same tone or the exact same vibrato, if you listen closely it is very obvious
Thank you for your reaction. Try Qaraǵym-aı | 2020 This is a very moving song which was dedicated to one of his teachers who died I believe during covid. There is no audience just candle light

His performance was so perfect and he diserves so much more than this tired and bored applause at the end.
