I was trying to figure out why he uses sixth gear at a low speed, then it hit me that it's early in the morning and the people he passes by are sleeping, very respectful of him knowing he could tear through.
Also, better fuel savings, more even engine warmup and lower engine brake when cruising. Bikes do really enhoy a even warmup before givin'it FULL BEANS
I can relate to this. I used to ride my r7 to work really early in the morning, some of my neighbors weren't very fond of it so I started walking the bike down to the main road(only about 200 metres away) before I would start it so it wouldn't wake them. I got to keep riding and they got to keep sleeping, so a win-win really.
Oh yes! But I would only prefer a dry road for maximum speed and G forces. Otherwise, damp, overcast, cloudy, moody and quiet with good coffee, as early as possible. PS Where was this filmed?
Not a fan of rain but otherwise yes. Nothing quite like throwing a leg over your bike at 5.15 am when the roads are empty and just flying through everything.

Where I live you need to apply for a driving school, pass the theory, have a certain number of hours spent on training yard and then you have your riding exam on public roads with the examinator. In the end if you pass you legally can ride your motorcycle. That's how it usually goes in most of the EU countries. I advise you to check how the process goes in your country, then you'll know everything you need. Btw why did you get a bike without having a license
Check on Moto Guzzi V7 and Royal Enfield Interceptor also very cool bikes, one with 90° V2 and second with inline 2. Mt07 is a very good bike for it's price but why not look wider on this category:)

I recently sold my '08 ZX6R and '07 SV650, I truly miss waking up at 6AM on a weekend and just enjoying the emptiness, it's truly peaceful. People are so afraid to ride a motorcycle, but they have no clue how freeing and wonderful it feels. You don't need to go balls to the wall, I barely ever do, I just enjoy cruising winding roads and every once in a while getting that shot of adrenaline on the highway.

I want to buy a naked bike so bad , it doesn't have to be big cc or big power , i would be content with an mt03 or anything around that category , but where i live (Algeria) they cost SOOO much money that you could buy a car or make an investment at that price , watching your videos gives me some kind of relief or comfort , thanks for the effort and the high quality .
When you do the first oil change, I would highly recommend to use Amsoil Metric motorcycle oil. It is the best motorcycle oil on the market. So smooth and I've been using it for 2+ years. Absolutely love it.
@@drdidge69 I would not use Yamalube personally. It doesn't have really any additives compared to other oils. Amsoil has it all... high detergents, high-temp anti wear additives, best shear strength, etc. The CP2 engine deserves the best lubrication. Yamaha does say they recommend using their oil, however that is just a sales driven recommendation. I'm not a Amsoil sales representative, but I should be. BTW, I'm certain you will gain an extra 2HP from just switching to Amsoil. My engine and transmission certainly felt smoother when I switched. My gear shifts are butter too!

I personally think that the R7 is the most beautiful bike in its league. The reason why the MT07 is so popular is because of the european drivers license agreement. With 16 you can do the A1 license (125ccm/15HP/11kw) after that comes the A2 license(48HP/35kw) with 18 after 2 more years you can do the A license in which you can drive any bike you want. For the A2 license you have to bring the power down from most bikes(Mt07). But if you are over 95 stock HP you are not allowed to drive it any more with A2. Thats why it isnt so popular in Europe. I hope I could explain it to you a little bit
I guess yamaha just wants to stick to their sports bikes being as tuned up as possible getting every horse out of an existing engine. It's a shame that they didn't make it restrict able as I'm sure it would be a popular bike for those who hold a2 license as the bike would benefit the torque and the fun of the Mt07 in a sports bike variant.
