Did they replace the 2 filters in the transmission? I found out most nissan dealerships and even GTR certified mechanics dont do services right.. I have to do it myself. The filters don't need replacing till about 70k. So the second transmission flush is when you would do it. No need to replace bolts and things like that. It's overkill. @@BrosFOURRSpeed Damn that's good.
John Powers it’s about 30% on where you live. Then the other 70% is ur age and record. Can be 40 clean record and still pay $2k
If you can afford the car, maintenance fees should be no problem? 🤷🏼♂️
This car really isn't that costly either which is nice!
How much did you pay total for diff and trans fluid change?
$290 Dollars you Deaf?
so now that it's serviced, are you gonna dyno it and take it to the airstrip? 😏
Kael Ortega Almost! Just need to do an oil change and it’s ready!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yes! 😂👍
@@BrosFOURRSpeed oh I almost forgot to ask you but are you thinking about putting a body kit on the GT-R? 😏
What oil for the GTR?
Motul brand in the OEM weights. Pretty sure I showed all that in the video
Sorry I meant for for the engine. Lol
How come they didnt change the filter?
@@tle1015 I've used Mobil one when changing the engine oil. Takes me like 30 mins to do. I don't think the trans filter needs it till the second one
How come you don't run motul 300v?
Nices car
Thanks! Love the GTR. Been a fun car!
Very nice car..
Can you do this on an awd lexus is250 ?
Of course. The AWD Lexus will have a front a rear diff as well
Bros FOURR Speed thank you, keep up your great videos ! I’m hoping to get a GTR soon!! Much love from Long Island NY 🗽
@@EastCoastMafia_NY Nice man! Thanks for the support! Keep working towards it!
Did they replace the 2 filters in the transmission? I found out most nissan dealerships and even GTR certified mechanics dont do services right.. I have to do it myself. Theyre supposed to replace the trans fill bolt and all the washers in the diff and trans bolts (and torque to spec).. I know im being anal but im just saying... for a car like this they should be following the book...BTW theyre not supposed to let the wheels spin according to the nissan instructions I found on the GTR Forum. Telling you mechanics dont pay attention.. kinda makes me upset.
The filters don't need replacing till about 70k. So the second transmission flush is when you would do it. No need to replace bolts and things like that. It's overkill. Had this car for 5.5 years and sold it at 50k miles still running perfect. Never had any leaks and did the normal oil changes myself
@@BrosFOURRSpeed sounds good. Maybe my OCD is kicking in!
What GTR??!!..... Oh there it is, it was camouflaged, hard to see. Lol jk. Sweet ride
lol, I loose the car in parking lots all the time haha
looking to buy a used R35, what year has most of the major kinks worked out?
JEEPNATION 2014 is when they updated the trans and suspension. So that is ideal. But I’ve seen many older ones with no issues. 09, 10 are the most prone. But overall you can’t really go wrong
Get a 2013 or newer.
We? We? All you did was pay for it lol
Dr Gilfberg I guess paying for something on his car is kind of a large part of the process? Yes?
You’re broke.
Actually there is an argument to be made that GT-R maintenance is relatively expensive compared to your run of the mill Nissan. It's certainly not in other super/hyper car territory... can you say McLaren? LOL.
Well that's because it isn't a supercar, it is still just a Nissan.
@@EK-rr2md Performance-wise, she is.
@@billbrowning3021 not by today's standards, besides there is more to a supercar than performance. I owned a 2013 GTR and I definitely do not consider it a supercar. It was fun but nowhere close to supercar levels.
Erek K That’s ur opinion. Experts will disagree with you. And yes a supercar is only based on performance. A mclaren as you mention is an exotic. Different category kid.
Rich boyz and their expensive toyz
I'm definitely not rich lol. Bought this car on a $35k take home salary. Really not hard to afford a nice car if you can budget money and build credit ;)

Bros FOURR Speed so if I found one @23k miles , what do you think on mileage per oil change ?
@@MrSilentman08 4000km
WTF 300 IS CHEAP AS FUCK YOUR NOT DOING THIS SERVICE EVERY 2 MONTHS FUCKING HELL !
You drove that mechanic nuts. Poor bastard
Um no. I've known these guys for many years
@@BrosFOURRSpeed you're oblivious as well. Cool car , though.
@@lakerdude42 oh yeah ok 👍🏼
If you’re mad that you’re broke just say that.
@Jamie Williams quite the opposite, and clearly you're just as oblivious since you can't see how annoying this guy is to a hard working mechanic
Horrible wrap..leave the original color
It was fun for the time being. Great to bring out at car shows. PPL loved it in person. Unwrapped it the following Christmas
Ugly wrap dude.
Thanks for your opinion, I had a ton of fun learning how to wrap an entire car in the garage and this was a budget design to come up with. Have you ever wrapped a car?
What type of oil is that?
As shown in the video. Motul
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks, my wife does say I'm not the fastest turtle of the bunch. 😂 😳😕
How often is the trans fluid change ? And differential
Roughly every 35k miles. So I doubt I'll even own the car when it's due again
@@BrosFOURRSpeed is it wise to get rife of the gtr after a while like you did for me hanical reasons or you just wanted a new one?
@@ScolarshipBoy1984 could you reword that? Not sure what you’re saying 😅
@@BrosFOURRSpeed oh my sorry .I will.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I meant to write is it wise to get rid of the GTR after how many miles on it because larger issues may arise or you got a new car because you wanted a different car?
