- Kings general manager Monte McNair meets with reporters following the NBA Draft after Sacramento moves the 24th pick to the Dallas Mavericks, the deal with the Boston Celtics to land Xavier's Colby Jones in the second round, selecting Jalen Slawson of Furman with the 54th pick, how the night unfolded compared to the team's expectations coming into Thursday night and the addition of Lindsey Harding and Anjali Ranadive as head coach of the Stockton Kings.

Glad to see Holmes move on and get a chance to play again. I hope he does well in Dallas.Having him sit on the bench was a waste of his talent and a waste of a spot we need to fill with a player coach Brown will utilize.
I am a little suprised Monte could not get something back for Holmes like a future second rounder or two.
I hope these two second round picks can help the team. Although I know the odds are pretty silm either one sticks long term based on Kings and NBA history but we'll see. Colby seems like our best hope of the two.
Monte freeing up cap space should help the Kings in signing a quality free agent or two or make a trade for another all star type. Let's hope Monte can land us a needed impact player or two now that we have some cap space. Signing Sasha Vezenkov would be nice also if he's healthy and mentally ready to play in the NBA.

Cobi Jones is like halliburton but better defense and slauson is a guy who can guard 3 through 5 athletic wing Dunking on everyone!

Jordan Walsh - I was celebrating getting him because back in the tourney I was thinking Kings NEED this guy…..to find out he was traded to Celtics, I couldn’t be more disgusted. Why would they do that?
