I wish we had the ability to make apartments, move sims in we don't control, and then have our own Sim...outside myshuno.
It should be reasonable because it could work similarly to the butler. That way we would just assign them a space and not have to control them. Along with that, the ability to be the owner who rents out property to others (like airbnb) would be nice too.
I think something like hotel management would be so awesome

I had a dream not too long ago that the new Sims 4 expansion pack was essentially just a “move back in with your parents” pack and the parent sims had a “disappointed in child” moodlet until their kid did something with their lives.

This style of community living makes me nostalgic for Sims 3 University and the dorm living. That was one of my favorite expansions and it was so fun to have those community spaces with just a personal bedroom.

A hobbies pack is an awesome idea! A sewing or knitting skill would be amazing and definitely applicable to multiple life stages
I love watching these while I play sims myself, is that odd? It makes me feel like someone is playing with me and often inspires me to try out different ideas. This is so cool, I never really make that many elders.
I appreciate the voice over because I dont like watching videos with just music the whole time! It almost feels like you're hanging out with someone and they're showing off builds they're proud of! (Something I do irl to my sister and she hates the sims lol)

Amazing! I'm a psychogeronthologist (work with elderly) and it's incredible how accurate you got the spaces and rooms. Also, really appreciate how you gave each room a personality, just like in real life where every person is different no matter the age. Just beautiful!
I really really love this build! Not many people think about all of this stuff and it makes you stand out. I personally have a strong connection with retirement/nursing homes (And no none of my grandparents are in one) but my mom has worked at two nursing homes my whole life. She was a CNA, then she worked in the Activities department (they do all the fun things for example bingo) and now is the head of an activities department!!! Basically what I’m trying to say is that this build makes me very happy, thank you soooo much!!❤️❤️👍👍😂😅😊

This is one of THE BEST build ideas I've seen in a LONG time!! I absolutely love how it turned out!! I think my favorite room is probably the gardener sims room with the planters! Or maybe the Selvadorada themed one! And I totally agree, Elders desperately need more things to do! I would almost go so far as to say that I want more things for them to do more badly than I want liberated babies!
i used to work at a retirement home and it was so heartwarming to serve the residents. so many are sweet and treat us like family (bc sometimes their real families don’t visit often sadly). only downside was the managers were so bad that i got unfairly fired :/ but this build made me happy and reminiscent of the residents! it must’ve took a long time but it looks amazing :))
Gorgeous build as always and wholeheartedly agree that elders need more to do. A hobby pack would be awesome as well as expanding the number of careers that you can actively participate in (such as tattoo artist, barber/hairstylist). My top 4 expansions would be: Architecture (Active career, CAS items, career items, build/buy items (different styles of stairs, please). Superhero (Active Career, CAS items, skills [wrestling, martial arts, others], build/buy items. Homage (paying homage to various packs from Sims 1 to Sims 3), would love to have a Makin Magic expansion for the Sims 4 especially the dueling arena. lol. Male Clothing (I feel we need a wider variety for aesthetics or storytelling). Honestly, I just feel that EA is dropping the ball on so many things when there are CC creators that are putting out quality products. Thanks for listening to my rant. *steps off soapbox*
haha there are sooo many things they should add to the game. an active architecture career sounds kinda fun. We had an interior designer career in the sims 3 which was alright. I feel like they could improve upon it somehow for the sims 4.

Second: Totally agree! I age up babies quite fast and my Sims are now elders and they where busy their whole life, always doing stuff and now I'm just like "What now?" except using them for baby sitting. I want elder meetings, let them knit sweaters...I don't know. Something xD

This build is amazing! I agree with you about the elders and babies. I want more baby and toddler furniture. This has been on my list for so long. Like a baby update and maybe a baby stuff pack. I also really want University, a beach pack and maybe farming- which would be a good pack to compliment seasons 😊
Bingo was big in NY, New England, the catholic schools, firehouses, etc used to use it as a fund raiser. I haven't seen it much throughout the country.
I play bingo at my school, but of course they make it academic.

the sims 3 generations is my favorite game in the entire series! it made every age group important
i miss the changing tables from the Sims 2 - i really enjoyed the generations expansion in the Sims 3 and elders could go up to random sims and start talking about their family and had different walking sticks and such. ugh so good

I totally love this build! I love your elders ideas! I definitely would like stuff like that for my elders. I wish there were like more rabbit hole activities like maybe going to volunteer, or could even be your Bingo idea! Or even an action where you're able to invite relatives in the world to visit and stay the night for a few days. Hobby stuff pack would be amazing!!
That is exactly what I wanted, I love playing with families and it’s boring with babies and elders. Like if babies had strollers and chairs that would be so cool!!!!💗💗 (also love the build, you’re so talented!)
The pink room seems like somewhere my mum would like to live 😂😂 she’s not very Umbridge but definitely the “won’t leave the house without her pink lipstick” 😄
The shampoo station in the salon is my favorite lol probably because that’s my favorite part of going to the salon😴
I totally agree about elders and babies. Especially the babies. With how realistic everything else is it’s like they didn’t even try when it came to babies. Hopefully there will be an update soon!!!!
I’ve been screaming that elders (and babies!) are neglected life stages from the rooftops for so long!! I’d LOVE knitting or elder specific hobbies and activities, special clubs ect. I have a “Golden Oldies” club in my game where the elders play cards and go bowling in matching team outfits 😂😂
So I was thinking of this new Sims challenge!
You turn Newcrest into a "University"with a couple cafe's, restaurants, library, and dorm rooms/sororities.
You play as a single sim, in a dorm/sorority and try to get your skills in your major to it's highest.
Ex:
*Performing Arts:* Highest Level of Dance, Singing, Acting, Charisma, DJ Mixing and Comedy.
*Arts:* Highest Level of Photography, Painting, Guitar, Piano, Violin.
*Culinary Arts:* Cooking/Gourmet Cooking, Baking, Mixology
*Veterinarian:* Pet Training, Charisma, Wellness and Veterinarian.
*RULES:* You must live on Campus and if you are a Teen you must go to school M-F. Young Adults cannot have a job, unless it's freelancer or retaining to their major. Adults can have a job but can't surpass level 3 in them, untill they graduate. All sims can have romantic relationships.
Only cats and small dogs can live with them.
During school days you have to work on your skills for at least 4 hours, you can break them up.
Drop more majors below? I don't know if this was a challenge before so forgive me if I'm stealing someone's idea.

This is an amazingly wonderful build. Only issue is when you mentioned the grim reaper, it made me realize, someone will always be dying and they will remain sad from always losing someone or being in the presence of death.

I live in an apartment building that used to be retirement condos. The ages are very diverse throughout the building these days, but every Monday night, the older people still do bingo in the lobby. :p

Haha, I have a kooky grandma too, definitely no cookies in her house! Love the storytelling in this build, I have quite a few Sims who are nearly ready to be elders in my main game (I age up manually) maybe I'll place this and move them all in together. And now I'm laughing about hating statues because I've just realised I never place them in game either. I'm quite tempted to run the lot as a park if not residential. Bit of an odd choice, but I think it'd work with just adding some playground equipment in the space on the right. But that should get a nice mix of Sims visiting and interacting.
I've played bingo once, while on a cruise. Don't know anyone who does play it. I can see why this took you so long! I love all the little details

I loved that game, my brother and I played it all the time! I think the object of the game was you had to sneak past daddy to go get snacks in the middle of the night and with every roll you pushed the alarm clock and he would pop up at random times

I played bingo in school, and then I've gone with my mother and grandmother multiple times since then, we don't go a lot but its always fun :D
I loved this build, so big! My favorite rooms are the pink room(I'm a nice pink girl lol) and the Christmas room(I'm also obsessed with christmas)
i live in a nursing home myself, but here in England we call them "care homes" they are nowhere NEAR as fancy ahaha i have lived in them for 8 years now i tend to build a home or two or a more mental institution themed building that is staffed with "carers" i have made a few stories off it a few patients have ended up getting together improving and moving out together and now have almost adult children and are nearly elders one couple who moved on actually have grandchildren its sweet also in the UK the game is "dont wake dad " i loved it i remember paying 15 pounds for it when it came out because the TV adverts made it look so much cooler then it actually was lol
This build is beautiful! I love the exterior. But I think it’s nice when you in your voiceovers don’t only talk about the build and talk about other things too, it makes the video more interesting. And by the way I would love some kind of royal pack in the Sims 4 that would come with a new world with a castle and the king and Queen and stuff like that.

Ive been playing the sims3 for 5 years and I recently got the sims4 (thank u for posting that it was free btw ❤) and i have no idea what is going on! You make it look so damn easyyy
This is so good! I love it! Ever since I started watching speed build videos, I’ve picked up some of the techniques and have become a little bit of a better builder than just a boring rectangular house 😂😅
On that topic of more for babies and elders, I totally agree with you! I was playing the other day and one of my sims had a baby and I’m sitting there caring for the baby and I’m just like “why are the babies in this game so boring?” Like, I wanna be able to take them out of their cribs and let them crawl around the house or play with baby toys like teething rings or something. I want the children to be able to interact with the babies a little more in that sense, like maybe and interaction with their parents like ‘ask to hold’ when the parents are holding the baby because let’s be honest, it’s exciting when you have a little sibling or cousin to the point that you just wanna hold them and not let go of their adorable cuteness! (Maybe that’s just me, but I’m sure others have felt the same) And the strollers, too! As far as the elders stuff goes, the ideas of poker and bingo are great! All I’ve really done with my elders is take care of their needs, maybe have them care for their grandkids, and have them just wait for their time. Maybe like a ‘tell story of childhood’ interaction where they talk about things that happened to them when they were little. I also like the idea of the sewing and knitting. I know I wouldn’t just have my elders doing that one😂 Overall, I think these are amazing ideas that the Sims creators need to acknowledge!

I love this idea! Thought the hair salon was really creative! Though to make the hair washing sinks more realistic you'd need to leave room behind the sinks for the hair dresser to stand! :P either way such a cool build! X
