- We travel to the Pocono Mountains to visit and explore Promised Land State Park. We tour all four campgrounds, the day use area, and other points of interest. We also enjoy a hike on Little Falls Trail.

Tent camped Promised Land many years ago. Very nice. Had the kids picking blue berries, rented a boat w/electric motor to putter around and fish. Found a mini golf / ice cream parlor along the road to keep the kids active in the evening. So dark along the lower lake you can actually see the milky way, a real treat for us city folk.

Wow! Beautiful! 😍😍 I have never been to this park! You must try to hike the Waterfalls trail & Rickett's Glen State Park,in Luzerne,Sullivan& Columbia Counties,if you get a chance! It's amazing! Also stop in at the pretty little town of Harvey's Lake,& dine @ Grotto Pizza! 🍕🍕😋🤤

Hi guys. Thanks for showing. We were staying at Tobyhanna SP in May and went to Promised land for a picnic and to check the park out. Went to that dinky site campground and was immediately turned off by it. The road in was riddled with pot holes. 2nd campground wasn't mowed and looked run down. We left w/o seeing the other campgrounds.
