Here's a top tip for you, people of the Faroe Islands. If you really want to attract foreign visitors and investment to your Islands stop your barbaric Whale slaughter that you commit every year. I was on a cruise ship that put into Torshavn a couple of years ago and only a few passengers got off because of this sickening spectacle. It's the 21st century for Christ's sake, there's no need for it!!!
Cruise ships are a plague on the country, and tourists from cruise ships leave almost no money behind anyway, and only clog up the towns. There are plenty of real tourists who actually appreciate the country for what it really is. A beautiful, unique and peaceful place.

Trees don't grow all too well on the islands. Salty winds/soil and sheep eat the seeds.
