If the soup is like a standard can of Campbell's type of soup, one is lucky if there are two noodles in it. I recall making a can for my grandson some years ago now and what a joke it was, one could not even find a noodle. I'm sure you are busy but just make some broth and throw a ton of noodles in it the night before or something and even carrots or whatever. Even Mrs's Grass's and then one can add egg noodles while cooking it from the box and cook for the allotted time of the added noodles. Or Lipton boxed. Either. So much better.
Wow there's a lot snow, beautiful to see. Here in the 🇳🇱 it's very warm for this time of the year and it's raining. Yummy lunches! Have a wonderful week.
Thinking about you and your family after all the snow this weekend. I have cousins in Bear River, Mahone Bay, Elmsdale, Truro and one in Newfoundland so varying amounts of snow for all of them. Take care and stay warm. ❤️
Thanks, Lesley. There is so much cleanup to do. Everything has been shut down. The kids are off school until at least Wednesday. We got about 5ft of snow. It sure is a winter wonderland. I hope your family is all safe and warm.
We could never get sick of that view, Lindsay!! 🤩 So beautiful and right out your door/windows! The kids had great lunches this week!! I finally went into Walmart and found a box of Dunkaroos, so now my daughter is requesting it everyday for her snack 😆 I was buying them individually before. Hope you guys have a good rest of your week!!
Hey, Katie. I'm so glad you found a box! My kids love them too, vanilla is their favourite. We just got hit with a major snowstorm, 5ft of snow. So the kids are off school until Wednesday atleast. I hope you're all having a great week! 😊
Lovely video - the snow is so beautiful! I thought the wraps at the end of the week looked delicious. I would love to make wraps but I can’t work out how to fold them 😂
I will never get tired of those shots out the window, oh how I miss the snow. What a great week of lunches for the kids, and they are all doing so well with eating them up. It always made me happy when my daughter brought home an empty lunch sack. I love the idea of using the thermos for the hot foods, I'm sure they love that especially on a cold day. Chicken noodle soups never have enough noodles for me, I always buy an extra bag of No Yolk plain noodles and throw a handful in when my soup is heating, by the time it's done the noodles are as well. The chicken tenders looked good, I'm with Ben, I love sweet and sour sauce to dip in. Thanks for sharing their week of meals with us Lindsay, we are in a horrible storm here in California that is going to last until Wednesday, tons of road closures, flash floods, mud slides and power outages and the mountains are getting tons of snow. It's not a good situation but we are mustering through. Have a great week!
I saw clips of that today, Tania! Not a good situation, I hope you're all okay! The kids like taking food in their thermos, they're really not picky at all. Ben loves chicken noodle soup, that's a good idea to add more noodles. We just had a major snow storm here, the biggest in decades. Some areas got 5ft of snow. We're running out of spots to put it. School is shut down until at least Wednesday, so the kids are thrilled. Dave figures he's put in a good 10 hours with the snowblower. I hope you're on the mend and staying safe. ❤️
Wow, that is a lot of snow, fun for the kids I'm sure, but it can sure cause problems for pipes, tree limbs, roads and getting to and from work. Stay safe if you have to go out. We are staying in for now though we did run out to buy dog food today. Hoping that the people who are affected the worst right now will get some relief soon. ❤@@mominthemaritimes
I love to look at the snow…but I’m glad we don’t get snow often! We get winter. But if we get anything we get more ice than snow anymore. We don’t get below 32 f often in the winter. Most of the time our winter temps are between 32-60.
We just got hit with a three day snowstorm here. 5ft of snow in alot of areas. Alot of our neighbours still aren't plowed out, there's just so much clean up!
Great video-thanks for posting! I'm going to look for those protein wraps-I need to get more protein in my diet and this seems like a great solution. So cute Emily helping to empty out the bags AND snacking on the leftovers! When I was a working mom, when I got home my boys (who were about Emily's age) would dig through my lunch bag for any leftovers! My co-worker found out about it and would often give me treats to put in my bag so the kids would have a lovely surprise! P.S. Love the outdoor shots! I heard NS got a lot of snow-like 80cm?? We typically have snow but not this year (Ontario)
Aww that's so cute, the kids looking through your lunch bag, I bet they were pretty excited to find treats!! Those tortillas were Presidents choice brand, there are ones that are called "protein up" and they're really good. Walmart and Superstore both sell them. We got hit so hard with snow, 150cm in alot of places!! It's unreal! Kids are off school until at least Wednesday they announced today! Have a great week! 😊
I'm thinking today and tomorrow will be snow days for the kids. We got lots of snow and the whole island is shut down, and I know you guys got more snow than we did. The kids will love playing in the snow anyway!
Kerry, we got hit hard! 150cm! We are in a state of emergency, everything is shut down here too. The kids have been loving it!! They can touch the roof from the snow! Lol
I love these for ideas. Your lunches seem very simple and balanced, while being realistic with treats and fruit.
Thanks! We always do simple lunches. I try to pack a variety, while still being somewhat healthy. 😊

@@venusgal2706 we don't buy/eat it very often. There's not a ton of noodles in it but the kids like it once in a while. 😊

Can you please share what your youngest eats?
I can maybe try to include that in a future video. 😊
May l ask why you are very very rarely doing lunch vlogs because l actually enjoy them as much as your hauls
I don't do them every week because they are time consuming in the morning. The kids sometimes get tired of them too.
Do you guys buy poptarts
Not very often.
