I have win rate of 42% but u am rank 1 with score of 3042. Person in rank 2 has win rate of 80%+ but every time he tried to overtake my score, he fallen -50 score 😅😅😅😅. So he gave up at 3028
I do trial of the horde with the new shoulder essence and the healing legs and use the offhand that ricochet shadow edge. 93% win rate. Pretty much just run around and let my bats kill stuff and shoot shadow edge. Easy mode

The bk setups most use is so generic. Most go with stun bulds with healing. I personally go top damage
Yo bro. I’ve been a monk since the start of the game, so I understand the class very well. However I just noticed then when equipped with the helm essence “neck breaker”
it should increase damage and attack speed by 25% for a few seconds. Unfortunately, when used in battle if u notice the top left icon description it says Movement Speed instead of attack speed. On top of that, when used there is no movement or attack speed increase whatsoever. Wtf? Haaaalp. Ty bro. Watch ya all the time
The movement speed icon in your buffs is a bug. I noticed this too and was concerned so tested it. If you cast it then switch to char sheet you will see the inc attack speed, but no inc to movement speed, exactly how the essence description states. Fun fact: u can use this essence awakened with the duration OH and vithu to get full uptime, then add dmg inc OH, intervening law, Newish zen shield speed chest, mystic ally MH of choice, mystic ally duration pants and wave of light essence that casts on allies adding pulse dmg and you and your allies will do 40% inc dmg with 25% inc attack speed moving at +40% speed and do passive dmg to every enemy u pass through. Monk has so many fun builds.

That new bk ess that consumes ur hp is the shit I love it I got it on the barb first that’s still awesome to just hold the skill but on bk that’s nuts just turn it on and the other ess that heals at same time man just amazing I literally swap classes daily every day but I’m positive I will be on bk for long term and I’m not a whale I’ve only spent 340$ 350$ someone in that range I’m poor lol

Is it because when funky monkey gets in early rank in the game, he got buffed skills. Like bg games, you buffed as you go up the rank? Maybe a matter of time to buff up the same as funky, then you get equal fight?
What is wrong with bk ?
Try the deathmarked chest. Bats that can heal also good. Monkey probably used methic cloud why he didn't move.
I use the new shoulder essence with the healing pants but I switched it up from shadows edge to ravage to add some bleed. Currently ranked 2 at Legendary. Love the build you put out Misery
My build has me rank 2 with a 55% win ratio. I am currently at Gold IV.
I made it to Gold tier with monk with 100% win rate
Monk needs love. Our class gets no love from Blizzard
Have u tried the new wave strike OH? Monster dmg, Low cd, multiple charges. Can stack it with mystic strike with fate alight shoulders for 57% Inc dmg, MH for range, new chest for Inc dmg farther away u are. Ranger paragon, awaken the 3 wave strike essence slots for 30% dmg boost, 4gloom for Inc dmg and crit chance after mystic strike. So just from essences sets and awakening bonuses u can reach +178% dmg+crit chance. This combo vaporizes enemies. With the right gems the numbers are insane. Can also do a triple combo starting with burning palm with head that Inc dmg 19% and the MH that adds burn to your primary attack and run with 4 augment or grace or banquet for the other half of your set pieces. Another option for farming is to run this with new mystic allies and neckbreaker head for dmg and attack speed with 4 isaatar for movement speed.

@@25mL same. I've logged a lot of hrs and enjoy coming up with creative ways to play the class. It's rly limitless. Everything from ranged to cc, support to full dmg, dash and movement to stationary dps and even summoning builds. It can literally utilize any set or gem in the game. I love the versatility and utility.

@@25mL so my maximum res is 4240 when I use all 5* gems. But I've started to lvl up 1 and 2* gems as well to add more variety and I'm not interested in spending 12 dupes and 750 GP to get the 90-100 resonance going to rank 7 on any of those gems. My BG pvp build right now has 3970res and if I use 2x2* gems it's 3780 so it just depends what setup I'm running. Sometimes the 10% dmg or cd reduction feels worth it to me to give up some res, and my secondaries are pretty good. 3.5k armor 4.2k armor penn and about 3k potency and resistance.
If u wanna try something different that works well for me and is great on mobile bc it doesn't req precise skill shots try this build: intervening law, peerless conductor, respite sigh, spokes on the wheel, traveling scold, feline defiance, chimes at midnight, roving sanctuary. Skills are deadly reach, shield of zen, mystic strike, flying kick, inner sanctuary. The instinct is to run this with gloom set bc it has 7 dashes but use 4vithu 4montebauk with full warden paragon. Stacking montebauk with warden makes u tanky as hell in melee combat (bonus pts if u have a survivor pet, high armor, and block chance). Bc u get crit chance from head essence u can live without the gloom set for this and u basically rely on raw attack speed to pump out dmg. Every skill is a buff so with 8 procs your vithu will be up non stop. Chimes at midnight makes u imminue to knockback so between that and shield of zen it's difficult to break your rhythm. Just outside of engagement, shield of zen onto a teammate then inner sanc (with good beneficial effect duration/cd reduction your downtime will only be 3-5sec). Dash in with mystic strike to buff your primary attack speed now a total of 60% bc of vithu, flying kick to inc dmg 19% and knock them back then spam deadly reach completely locking them. Reup buffs of mystic strike and flying kick as necessary. When you're about to die mystic strike to safety and stance change which heals u then u can bandage. When u come out of bandage your next shield of zen will have an inc shield bc you'll still be in defensive stance, when cd is up switch back to offensive to boost primary attack crit. Reforge vengeance family with primary attack dmg and beneficial effect duration. U can get primary attack dmg on up to 6 pieces of gear so a lot of opportunity there. Best gems for this by tier would be blessed pebble and carsens for 1*, power and command mothers lament for 2*, gloom cask, BH, FH, BSJ, conc will, starfire, maw of deep, spiteful blood for 5*. One of my fav things about this is it's all knockback, which req no potency and therefore enemy resistance won't reduce your effectiveness.

So how are you finding life as a Monk now? Has the class improved? What's farming like as a Monk?
There's some rly fun ones I've made. Choices for passive dmg with movement speed or dashes with powerful attacks or even summons. U can play it so many ways and still make it work. Imo it's as good as any class out there.
