Materials used:
3 mm white paper strips, aprox. 80 gsm in weight (you can also use other densities, 160 gsm and under)
white glue
Quilling slotted tool (I used a slotted toothpick in the video.)

I have that same peg board. Going to learn to make these. They are pretty. For me, Quilling is pretty easy to do. I know I've watched them before. But you got to refresh your memory. :)

OH my goodness! I didn't know there was such a thing as Quilling until yesterday. I knew I just had to try it! Zoomed over to Amazon and ordered some strips and such, then went looking for tutorials. I am sitting here in amazement! I have subscribed and bookmarked this so I can make my first flower as soon as my supplies arrive. That flower is totally awesome! I sure hope I can learn to do it! What kind of glue to you suggest?
That's so nice to hear! That was my experience too! I had never heard of quilling, and the first time I saw it I decided to buy a small kit with just some colorful paper strips and a quilling slotted tool. I had to try my hand at it. These are 3 mm paper strips. I can't remember the exact length I used, but I think for each petal it was a little bit more than 15 cm. Maybe about 2/3 from a 30 cm strip of paper. Plus another strip of paper that will be glued around each petal (which is probably between 10-15 cm).

Thank you! :) I don't exactly understand your question. I used 3 mm wide paper strips. There's more information in the description box below the video in regards to the materials I used and what paper.

How beautiful. Btw what do you do about the neck pain that comes with this rewarding art form. Could you suggest ways to avoid it ?
Haha 😁, good point! I guess the solution is to take more breaks, stretch your neck more, lay down for a few minutes every now and then to let the head and body rest from the tenseness :).

I bought furniture leg lifts. It lifted my table up 8 inches so my table top is at chest height now. I don't have neck issues anymore.

Im brand new to this. I just bought a bunch of the papers and tools that I need. Id like tontry these but i have a question... you put the petals on the flas surface and it was a flat flower when you were done but the final peice that you showed had the tops of the petals pointing up from the center so that they have a curve to them. How did you do that part, how do i get it to have that curve if i do it on a flat surface???

how many white papers do i need? it's very beautiful
I don't remember the length of each white paper strip because I made the flower a few months ago. But you should have about 3 paper strips and a half for each petal (you might have some leftovers too from these papers).
