Hu I don’t have any 1600s-1700s ship wreck coins but I do have a Low grade ptolemaic coin that’s clearly been under the ocean it’s given me some insight on the coin
hey THanks for this video, ive been looking around for these kinda coins but dont know anything about them till i watched this , was thinking of buying some from some place
This is fascinating stuff! I wasn't aware of shipwreck grades. Thank you for going over this material. BTW, I'm looking for an NGC or PCGS certified Cazador 8 real. Do you have any for sale or can you recommend another dealer who might?
Is it not that big of a deal to handle cob like this in a rough manner? I'm new to collecting these, and I'm usually a big baby with my coin collecting. Cotton gloves, only grabbing by the edge etc. Are these just hammered so poorly, handling them and dinging them together doesn't matter?
4:44 i have worn one on a chain for over 20 years , only seen another one in a museum . director and staff were stunned .
Nice to see you back! As always, Thanks for the informative video!
Excellent information as always, and I agree that buffing is awful, I like leaving that old St Augustine dirt in the cracks ... 😉
