I have to admit that it’s really fun to go watch a TH-camr that has no idea what they are doing in a survival game play Sunkenland, and then come watch Kage. It really helps me appreciate the difference and the difficulty of the game. Honestly it’s refreshing watching someone who knows how to survive like Kage. ps: I do like to watch Partially Royal as well, but sometimes I can’t appreciate his attitude. Kage is always a solid go-to for survival gameplay. And we get to yell at him when he misses loot 🤣
It's not listed in the key bindings, and I tapped the key on accident. When looting enemies and some loot boxes, tapping "E" will loot all. Very useful when short on time
Yeah the problem is when you accidentally hit E a 2nd time on your boat box, dropping all the good stuff all over. I lost a spare scuba tank & a gun today thanks to that. By time I got everything stuffed back in and dove in to check, 2 gear lost & who knows what loot stack?. Doh.
Sorry to say but the new update will nuke all you inventory... armor, flippers, red not, clothing, guns, ammo, tools.... anything you had on you. You will load in with a warning of this and find you only have a stone ax again. It also resets you map and some of the locations will be changed. There are a lot of bug fixes and optimizations and a few changes. Load times are much faster. They changed the look of leather, they added a down arrow for dropping things. They also seem to have fixed the batteries. They also increased the time for crops to grow to about double. It seemed the generator went through fuel slower, but I really was not paying attention much. They also seem to give you even less seeds back now too. I have not checked if the stove is fixed or if you get the glass bottle back when cooking. I'm not sure if they fixed the exploit you used to reset the loot. They have not fixed the looking down and pressing P will in the sailboat. After rebuilding everything I found cloth is a HUGE problem. I made a SMG because I have a lot of pistol ammo and very little riffle ammo. I do want to try the shotgun though as I have quite a bit of that ammo too. Flares are great for fighting at night. They light up a huge area. You just throw them. They last a couple of minutes.
I have been looting fully from the day 1 (tbh, i didn't know about that trick) and still reached the point, where im too lazy to loot any further, i simply have too much of everything. No "Its cheating!", its just not needed.
Oh Kage, exploiting is usually something viewers don't like. They want to see, how you maybe struggle and "survive", sometimes even barely. It has the taste of double dipping in 7d2d. It's possible but not honorable. Anyway, have a good one mate
I was really into this until the last video where you start usong a loot exploit. Then continueing it in this episode just made it hard to watch. Its fine if you wanna do it for your game, but really takes the fun out of watching. The point of the game is to get to islands to get the higher tier loot, that in cases are hard to get (advanced parts) but whats the point if you just relog every episode. No challenge then.
Just some friendly advice. The "red dot", or yellow rather, is not the impact point of your shot. It's still the little white dot. It doesn't always stay centered. Head shots are the way to go on a still enemy.
Try crafting at least 3 Temporary chest on the shore where you park your boat. So, when you finished up all the enemies. You can just loot up then every inventory full you can just drop it on the chest you made on the shore. So, when you come back from your base you will not have to go looting around again on the island.
Hopefully you store all your stuff in a chest before you update or you will probably lose all your equipped gear. I was able to revert my save and get it all back thankfully but it was sad for a minute. And seeing the warehouse go down like that makes me want to try and take it.

Limited resource is actually a bug, man. Since the game does not autogenerate stuff / islands / loots… unless you do that, you would run out of loot before you even reach the research options available.
@gamalyel5332 not true. I managed just fine and I never even had to craft my own ammo - the ONLY harder resource to find in the game are advanced parts.
@gamalyelg you realize there is enough loot for a group of players to play this game for quite a bit right? What do you expect to do once you kill everyone on the islands? Sit in your base and hope you get raided? 🤣 because that's all that's left after that.
@@bdawe967 yeah i was thinking about doing that, but managed to get the underwater scooter makes life alot easier. Also got better guns now got stun smg and a sniper by far the best game survival game since ark and rust
I restarted after the update, now that I know how to reset loot (you're cupboards you chop up and beds, couches etc, just hit them 3 or 4 times, don't destroy them and they can be reset to full hp same as the loot boxes reloading when yous ave and exit - the game just needs a loot respawn scaler to allow you to customise when it resets so you have more control over your gameplay experience). I turned raids off as they are both inconvenient and just not fun in their current form, especially solo. However, to offset this, I have garrisons on high and enemies on insane difficulty...I'm probably going to regret that choice vs hammerhead sharks though (who take many more hits then normal sharks to die). I fear the loot reset makes the game way too imbalanced though, but then this isn't a leaderboard based game so game balance and more relevant, gameplay experience, should be entirely up to an individual player to set for themselves.
Finally someone with logic! Thank you! People complaining about the loot simply don’t have self control in my opinion. One of the reasons why other games like Ark are so famous is exactly the autonomy players have to “fast pace” or not the game, aka, increasing loot quality & quantity if they want. Not everyone has 100 hours to enjoy a game. So, that’s a great way to let them progress without requiring a year of effort, lol.
If you obviously balance that in the sense that players with increased loot will only be able to PvP with other players with increased loot… the hell with it. Let people have fun :)
@@gamalyelg (wall o text inbound, just how I write) yeah but at this point, is there going to be PvP/is there PvP currently? I've only solo'ed, but unless everyone on a multiplayer server are looting in such a way to enable a respawn of the loot, and there's not someone always on so it can be reset, then the game in its' vanilla form feels like it is going to not have the sustain to allow any meaningful pvp. Sunkenland feels like a PvE only game and people wanting it to be a new Rust, I feel are going to be sorely disappointed. One thing that frustrates me about many games developers these days is that they get carried away with this whole concept of "Play How We Want You To Play" and because their own playtesting hasn't tried to truly abuse the systems they have developed and implemented, they continue to nerf builds, items, loot drops, experience gain etc etc. Borderlands 3 did it when that dropped some years ago, the devs followed the big streamers who were playing for 16+ hours a day every day and utterly abusing everything they could to get all the legendary and items drops to further explore and refine and break the game, and by the time the vast majority of the player base was in a position to try these builds out, the devs had nerfed them into non-existence without doing anytrhing to punish the players who had been actively abusing the systems as they were whilst in effect punishing the players with normal jobs/family etc who had far less time to play the game. Refine builds to loot better like the streamers are then suddenly be told that no, you can't do that, and you just wasted all your weeks playing time to get to that position that so many others have been abusing. In a pvp/pve leaderboard based environment, I understand such changes and adaptations to emerging features (we'll call them features, not bugs, not ways the game devs were too short sighted to see or think about), but in a non-leaderboard based environment, the onus is 00% on the player to see how theyw ant to play the game. people getting bored with abusing the most powerful aspectsa of a game system will do one of two things - they'll either leave the game and not come back, which is probably what they'd do anyway given enough time and grind, or they adapt and self impose restrictions/changes to difficulties to try and make the game more interesting utilising less powerful/broken combinations to allow for a more ski8ll based challenge. It's what Blizzard don't understand with Diablo IV currently - the constant nerfs etc in a leaderboardless environment has driven most of their player base away, heck, with thousands of hours into Diablo 3 over the years I am going back to Diablo 3 for seasons because I don't have to pay for those and the game is more balanced and more enjoyable and you only get changes at the start of a season once every 3 months unless something is literally crashing games, because, leaderboards. If Blizzard had taken what had made Diablo 3 successful in retaininga core of players for a decade season by season and adapted them to Diablo IV, it'd be ina healthy place still instead of having driven most of its' player base, including the majority of casuals away from the game for good. With Sunkenland, raids aren't fun, they ramp up in difficulty and there's no actual warning either. You could be on the literal other side of the map and without using the push chain speed boat method to mo0ve over the ocean faster, you'd return back to a base that has been levelled, and with some resources being extremely restrictive in how to use them/where to acquire them, having the option to loot respawn is perfectly acceptable and indeed, needed. If people are PvP'ing, them awesome, it means more meaningful PvP interactions as opposed toa struggle to tech up in a limited spawn environment where the biggest group able toi split push and target farm will get all the tech unlocks and rare materials to be able to afford to pvp whilst everyone else gets left behind. But, again, it feels more akin to a pve experience, and it's entirely up to players to choose whether they use or don't use loot respawning to enhance their enjoyment of the game. A loot respawn timer would be excellent. I bet those people whining about loot respawn tricks aren't whining about the fact you can grow plants for two full harvests during the course of a single night, so if you did what I did before I knew about the loot respawn and you plonked down 15 planter boxes, you were drowning in wood and grown resources to such an extent that waiting for trees to regrow on islands was not necessary as you could easily spam a veritable fortress of wooden walls/temporary barricades etc in a sort of fortnight pvp style to really screw over opposing players abilities to pvp effectively over land. That all said, I'd be curious if those same people whining about loot respawn tricks and pvp have even realised you can build virtually anywhere (there are some places the water is too deep, so that is a thing) but that this includes on top of the sky scraper roofs sticking out of the civic centre, and the medium heighted onbe out of the water, there are only 2 entry points you can bunny hop to the roof of to geta ccess without ladders and then a smart player utilising this as a base location sinks all of their foundations into the roof of that skyscraper so as the onlyw ay to foundationd estroy buildings is to be standing on top of them, but hey, you have to literally climbv up there through a choke that is as good as an instant death vs a player with tier 4 research unlocked and a machine gun emplacement facing the areas (and you can be far enough back from the walls with one floor of the building and an ultra compact set up of all your buildings/storage, such that enemy players can't actually see your base until they bunny hop up into yopur firing sights and then, because of how unforgiving death is in the game, how many times would they willingly be attemptinga raid here? Grenades would be about the only way to reliably punch a hole up but those are extremely expensive, and it's a pvp world so good luck there. Anyhow, it always surprsies me how few people seem to understand that how they play can be entirely based on their choices and they are not stuck playing 5the same way everyone else plays, they6 can be an individual if they feel like it.

I personally don´t like the red-dot, I think it is much easier to aim without it.
Why don't you look the whole thing?
That's the worst sniper rifle I've seen in a long time. No way to zoom in. And you need so many shots to kill one enemy. Why?
They need to tone down the bullet sponge AI.
