I sat for AS level:
Maths and got a B
eventhogh i was expecting an easy A because i never had to struggle with Maths especially AS level Alhumdulillah, but then again the cancellation mustve affected my grade massively. Was definitely a BIG upset for me and my teacher, but he said he knew there were gonna be bad grades the moment he heard of Cambridge's policy. He also suggested those who got a B NOT to sit for retake, because its going to effect the A2 studies, aswell as other uni prep exams most of us sit for. What do you suggest, should I sit for retake or not?
Congratulations on your B for AS.
It makes sense to carry forward the B and focus on performing well in A2. This way you have less pressure on you, cause balancing both AS and A2 can be challenging. So yes, I do agree with your teacher.

Personally l feel underwhelmed but the results are acceptable. I wrote As level math, physics and chem . I got a b(74%) in math , a b(76%) in chem and an an a(80%) in physics . I wanted to ask is it still possible to get all A*s when l write A2 or atleast all As
hey. I'm in A2 rn and I would say for chem it will be incredibly hard to get an A*. The a level threshold for A* in chem is insanely high but getting an A would be achievable. For maths, it might be slightly more possible if you manage to ace your s2 or m1. People generally lose a lot of marks in p3, hence lower thresholds. And with your physics, getting an A* would be a breeze if you study diligently.
Getting your 3 A should be achievable as long as you put in the work from the beginning of the term. if you really want it though
, it is possible to finish with 2 A*s and 1A

I got a D so im planing on taking the free resit because im not satisfied by the results. Ofcourse its because of the assessed marking. But I want to change it to atleast a B

I got an A in As math, but im curious was the assesed mark for pakistan only or the whole world coz the results were slightly lower than i expected
I think it was for Pakistan only.
And congratulations on your A in AS math.
Confirmed it was only for pakistan, im did my exam in cambodia and i got 73/75 for pure 1 variant 2

Yeah they should still work for October, I don't expect much to change. I haven't gone through the may june papers, hopefully when I go through them I will make an updated video.

It's completely up to you. An A at AS is very good, and it's a great starting point for A2.
@@actualsportsfreak Nope. I did normal math and I only got an A in IGCSE math.
@@LifeofToca I feel like I barley got an A cause my predicted marks for mechanics was in the low 40s. So if I do mess up A2 (which I hopefully wont) it will not lower my grade.
