    Hi, can you do a comparison of these wall chasers on a concrete block and brick?
    All of the reviews are on bonding with a flat surface. I would love to see with a rough surface and a much harder material to cut into.

  • @rwp1975

    Stick with the Metabo, and it’s triple blade. There will be a lot of dust and flying debris when you are having to clean out the chase with a chisel after the DeWalt. Not to mention hard red brick and loosening the surrounding plaster that’s just waiting to fall off. After 30 years as an electrician, I can honestly say that the Metabo it quite simply one of the best inventions going. Great vlog as ever, keep it up 🤓

    You were saying about what's the point of a cordless chaser if you have a corded vacuum, well theres a flexvolt vacuum maybe you could try

    • @twoone611
      @twoone611 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have this chaser with the flexvolt vacuum. It’s ok but not amazing. The vacuum has a wireless button you strap to your wrist so it’s easily turned on and off. It’s great on an empty house but not idea for a lived in. Catches maybe 70% of the dust.

  • @mdjey2

    I think few reasons it doesn't extract as good as Metabo is:
    1) disk spins in opposite direction of what is natural. In this case the hose should have been attached on the very top of chaser, but that would create other problems and still hose goes down. Metabo dust extraction is below because you push it and it also have two channels, one for immediate dust bits directly from disk and second one from dust that is left over right below the chaser where hose is in the natural position where dust is guided in circular motion and not like perpendicular.
    2) hole often can clog up. I have experienced this.

      @@conorhollister2047 Thats ok! We in Europe love bricks. There are now these white aero blocks that supposedly have good insulation properties and very little the glue is used, so almost no heatsinks is created. People put some pellet furnace and its pretty good without any extra insulation like wool.

    Agree with the comments on it cordless, yet other stuff plugged in. Until they come out with cordless dust extraction, certain tools are better corded.
    I brought a titan one few weeks back to do around the house, will be using it first time next week, once Henry adapter gets here. Practicing on me on gaff before potential customers.

      Metabo/Starmix has a pretty compelling looking cordless vaccum but the battery life will never be good on anything like this and other high powered tools until we can develop new battery technology.

      Dewalt have the flexvolt cordless vacuum. Thats what I use with my flexvolt chaser. It also connects wirelessly so as the chaser starts it starts the vacuum up. Although there's a little bit of residual dust in the room I still find it perfectly acceptable.
