- It's BJP's Madhavi Latha versus AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi. A long time RSS worker against a prominent Muslim leader will be taking on each other in Hyderabad. Madhavi Latha is not an active politician and does not belong to any political family. She is the first female candidate fielded by the BJP in Hyderabad. She is a social activist, Bharatnatyam dancer, and former NCC cadet, who is also running a Gaushala. She campaigned against Triple Talaq, while Owaisi claimed it to be unconstitutional, alleging that it demonizes Muslims.
AIMIM Chief has been winning the Hyderabad constituency since 2004, with the last victory margin being over 3 lakh votes. Is fielding Madhavi Latha from Hyderabad a lost cause? Or is this move part of the preparation for the 2029 election?
In the latest edition of the ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, Madhavi Latha claims that children in Madrasas in Hyderabad are not getting food and they have become child laborers, with no future. She also alleges that bogus voting exists in the electoral rolls of the Hyderabad LS constituency.
She hits out at Owaisi, claiming that there has been no development in the area in the last 40 years and that temples and Hindu homes are being illegally occupied under Owaisi's nose. She also refutes the allegations of BJP being the 'B Team' of AIMIM.

This interview I just stumbled upon and for the first time I watched the entire episode at one stretch which was very unusual for me! When Madhavi Latha garu started stating the facts & exposing and the amount of social work she has done she looked like a fierce lioness trying to protect her cubs from anything and everything! When she said that “if you see what gets inbetween that tiny little tots growth” saw SKATHI (Worldly mother) in her who just wants to nurture and protect! Just brought tears to mine!
Towards the end when she said it is not about “my winning or losing even if it drives change & that is what is needed” I saw a true leader in her!

Wow !!! Really how does BJP end up finding such orators. Look at her, look at annamalai . Just imagine the ground breaking phenomenon it would be if she wins against Owaisis. Bottom of my heart all the very best to Madhavi Latha garu in this elections. Kudos to ANI for doing pod cast with her while I doubt if any of our telugu news channels have the guts to do her interview. Our news houses are still rolling in the arnab goswami's patented "Who let dogs out" style of debating news in which after a point no one even remembers what they are debating about.

My point is though he might be right he started the trend news presenter who's supposed to be the orchestrator has himself become the part of conversation which makes the whole discussion opinionated. However right the discussion is because of his direct involvement into discussion it gives a perspective of being one sided. I wish he just kick in the conversation and just moderate rather than directly being part of it.

Smitaji, I felt during this podcast you were so much stunned/ overwhelmed that you were probably thinking what to ask next.
Because you had one of it's kind personality on the podcast today.
This observation I am making after watching many of your earlier podcasts.
To me it looked like Smitha was biased ( towards owaisi) and probably thought she could ask all 'tough questions ' .... revisit the interview and her question " what are all these documents that you brought" . On the letter written by Ow regarding cattle smitha dismissed it by saying "anyone can write...." to which MS Madhavi reminded smiha that Ow was " an MP ...." .

ANI has been evidently pro BJP. Remember Modi gave an interview to Smitha ji, how many have had that chance since he became PM? But Smitha Ji herself is a daughter of former bureaucrat of Information and Broadcasting ministry and father in law owner of ANI. ANI is the REAL GODI media as it ha successfully managed to change its colours with each government. Pro NDA during Vajpey year, pro congress from 2005 and now pro Modi since 2014. DON'T TRUST ANYONE.

1) Cabs don't want to come to old city too. 2) Electricity meters are tweaked. 3) What percentage of traffic violations are from old city? 4) They also objected to a metro line in old city. 5) Water supply is either contaminated or not regular. Has the local leadership ever talked about doing the right thing? Finally, someone standing strong against the existing leaders. A new change is needed.

I am from Hyderabad. It will be difficult to beat Owaisi. Muslims will vote blindly and one sided to Owaisi based on religious lines only. Hindus votes will divide into BJP, Congress, BRS, BSP, CPI.
Basically Muslims will always vote based on religion only not on development.
