Fantastic grades for most of the Sovereigns, I didn't realize the veiled type was so popular. Great video.

Some of those coins are 120 to 170 years old and look fantastic. I love modern proofs but a 150+ year old coin with an MS Grade - wowwwwww.
Its the same for any old coin - I love old coins!!

I have been waiting for this one Numi. I fully agree that all the sovereigns should be listed under Great Britain as I do in my own collection. After all, the 1968 Canadian 10 cent pieces that were minted in Philadelphia are not listed under the United States.

For a submission that large you would think they would send them back to you in the plastic ngc storage boxes. Good stuff thanks for sharing.

I believe PCGS send them back in plastic boxes

Great results! 👍...but you missed comment on the "1849 damaged" coin, was it the scratches?

    Great Sovereigns
How can they possibly know a gold coin was cleaned? I guess Harshly Cleaned you can see signs of rubbing, but Cleaned? A silver coin I understand. But a gold coin can sit at the bottom of the ocean and never tarnish. Silver coins will be a black lump fused together.

Sovereigns should generally be included as Great Britain coins regardless of where they are minted. Other coins follow this pattern. For example, there are Australian pennies minted in London and Bombay and they are still regarded as Australian coins, Ecuador coins minted in Mexico, Panama coins minted in USA etc.

I wonder why NCC chose to do the opposite

Things are going well there in the U.K. after the Brexit! We landrats must negotiate a little tougher.

I know little but seems the coins are better than the grades given
