thanks for another great upload Luke! I lost count years ago now as to how many amazing games you’ve shown that I likely never would’ve discovered if it weren’t for your channel. hope the rest of 2024 treats ya well, can’t believe next year I’ll have been watching you for 15 years…literally half of my life!
And thank god is one of those Taito arcade games that are available on the Taito Legends for the PlayStation 2 and the OG XBOX. My only complex is the isometric view. A type of gameplay that I never had faith since I played the lukewarm Sonic 3D Blast on the Sega Genesis. Thumbs up for your video Mr. Luke and enjoy your games.
I totally hear you. For starters, the Taito Legends collections are amazing and they have so many great titles on them. As for the isometric view, its neat to be able to see the stage layout this way but the hit detection is definitely something that could be improved upon. Thanks a million Juan for stopping in to check it out
Dude this game is so sick! Hope you've been well Luke, been rewatching some of your old arcade board repairs recently, really brings me back! Thanks for the upload! Peter Schoon (changed my name back to my gamertag lol)
Oh wow! yeah man, its been a long long time, good to hear from you as well. This is definitely an awesome game and Im glad I can bring back some of that nostalgia for ya. Thanks for checking it out and I hope you can enjoy some gaming when and where possible. Thanks again!
Haha, yeah Cahos, definitely a cool dungeon crawler and Baldur's Gate is another great reference there. I really enjoy the music and setting. Hopefully someone from Taito will revive some of these older classics someday. Hope you are doing well!
Very cool to see you feature this game. I went through a lot of the major arcade beat-em-ups and hack-and-slash games some years back, and I was really impressed with Light Bringer. It's definitely a strong effort among Taito's beat-em-ups and stands up well against the competition. It also has some nice ideas that work. I know a lot of people love Capcom's Dungeons & Dragons games, and they are well made, but they never do anything for me. Light Bringer gives me that fantasy vibe, but with more straightforward gameplay that I find more satisfying. Taito did a nice job on this one and it's a good one to have for those who collect the boards.
Im glad to be able to share it with you. The music is a thing of pure beauty. They really put a lot of work and creativity into this one and it shows. I had the same feeling when I first played it :)
Some people have never seen this one and to be honest, about 8 years ago or so, I hadnt either. I hear you on the WOW inspiration. There may have been a lot of MMO RPG's that got some influence from these old arcade games for sure.
Awesome! Yeah, for sure man, I think it's on one of the Taito arcade collection disks for sure. Thanks for checking as always and hopefully you get some more gaming goodness in yourself!
Amazing game here by Taito luke. I wish this could've come to a home console back in the day as is, arcade perfect. Tremendous video. Keep them coming! I love exact arcade hardware.
Thanks a million man! Im also surprised when I come across these games and try to show them off when I do. Im sure you've come across your fair share of Amiga games that many people have never heard of as well. Thanks for popping by and hope you are doing well
The hit detection in this one can be tricky to judge with it being isometric and diagonal controls almost non existent. I definitely could have done a bit of practice on it before making a vid also lol.
Hey, luke hi. I wanted to know can you talk about the Capcom CPS changer and the few games it had which were essentially PCB boards or if you have it do a video on it. Only had 8 or so games but had a jamma connection
Its a masterpiece. The only real dungeon crawler that feels like a rpg rather than just a arcade game with rpg elements. Nice original pcb too. The world version is extremely rare with english text. Did you know the region is actually on the motherboard?
I think its up there with some of the better dungeon crawling games for sure. I didnt know that the region was on the motherboard, very interesting. I know this board is hard to come across so I was happy to find even the Japanese version of it. Cool to know about the world version though for sure. Thanks for checking it out
Yeah, definitely a great game and nice to have on the Taito Legends disk collection. The F3 had a few good ones like Elevator Action Returns, Gekirindan, Darius Gaident EX, and Riding Fight. Arabian Magic is also a good beat em up if you come across it.
@@lukemorse1 Thanks for the reply. I'll check out the titles once get the graphical issues (vertical lines ) resolved on my F3 board. Right now the only game I have for it is Puzzle Bobble 2 (also known as Bust-A-Move Again in the US).
thanks for another great upload Luke!

@@lukemorse1 My pleasure Mr. Luke.
It looks so much better than on MAME.
I still enjoy it every now and then.
Wow, I didnt know it was that bad/off but it is a good game to pick up and play for sure. Thanks for watching!

What a Fantastic Dungeon Crawler Arcade game Dr. luke!
It sure gives off that distinct Diablo or Baldur's Gate vibe to it 😊

Luke, I'm getting the chills and this is absolutely gold.

I’ve never seen this game before. But I can totally tell that someone on the World of Warcraft team took inspiration from this game.
Some people have never seen this one and to be honest, about 8 years ago or so, I hadnt either. I hear you on the WOW inspiration. There may have been a lot of MMO RPG's that got some influence from these old arcade games for sure.
Cool looking game this one Luke, think I got it on a Taito Legends collection for ps2?
Nice share as always, take care fella and best wishes. ✌️

Awesome video !
Really long time, no see Gusto! great to hear from you again and thanks for watching! Hope you are doing well
Yes I’m doing well! Thanks! Keep it up
Wow, that's really cool - never knew about this one! Just had a quick go on MAME - it's great!
If you have a PlayStation 2 or an OG XBOX, play it on the Taito Legends 2.
Thanks a million man! Im also surprised when I come across these games and try to show them off when I do. Im sure you've come across your fair share of Amiga games that many people have never heard of as well. Thanks for popping by and hope you are doing well
A nice twist on the hack and slash genre.
Definitely. Not your average run of the mill hack and slash game and it gets better toward the end of the game
Man this looks cool will have to check this game out
That Snake boss reminds me of Conan the Barbarian when arnold schwarzenegger fault it
Ouuuh, Awesome reference! yeah, I totally get that for sure
This is awesome!
Luuuke !
Wassaaaap Man!
lots of cool effort put to development of this, but lacking a bit in the gameplay vision department

This title seems fun. It's also available in the Taito Legends 2 for the PS2 and Xbox. What other games do you recommend for the F3 system?
