Sounds like people who send in their stories are good writers. I'd think most people at best, would just write a paragraph describing what they've seen. I'm impressed with how each story is written, working in small details to the main part. Makes me wonder if the stories are written by ordinary people or professional writers. 🤔
Most of those would not be viewed as "stories" as they'd be too short. Plus, if you're telling a crazy story, you'll probably try to do your best to make it readable, no? I've been in that situation and it sucks, because if you convey it well, you get accused of hoaxing, and if you try to be casual, then they call you dumb. There's basically no winning with most people. You also might be assuming people are dumber than they are because it makes you feel smarter. There's also some truth in what you're saying. Basically there's no way to know for sure. That said, I personally agree that most of these are probably fiction, because they probably came from r/nosleep, and nosleep is kind of known for being a place to write fiction and have everyone act like it's true. I give channels like this a pass, because the stories are "allegedly" true, and it fills a niche, because people just want to get scared. If I want truly real stories I talk to real people.
