Not being the best at something, is what drives you to improve. I was one of the best athletes in my school but I knew I wasn't the best at everything. I got a participation ribbon a couple times and I felt so insulted, I discarded them.
If she lived in Kansas, she would be in jail for letting her underaged children (and that's what they are!) posses an illegal substance!!! IF they are not drinking, what were they doing with the alcohol to begin with??? If they had alcohol, they were drinking...!!! No one keeps alcohol, and not drink it - I don't care how much they say they are not drinking!!!
Madonna is just trying to be relevant. No one cares about that old hat anymore. I think it's important to tell your kids that the only one that think they are special is you, their parent. I tell my daughter if she looks awful if she puts something on that does not flatter her. I am very honest with my kids about things. If they could do better they ate going to know it but, when they deserve praise they get it.
