Very nice video this week Roy. This project turned out very well there. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend Roy. Forge On. Keep making. God bless.
Hi Roy, I have made several candle holders, never thought about snuffer's to go with them. I think you have hit onto something, Toilet Spoons. Make fancy ones and call them Honey Dippers. Your stream last night diffinetly brought a smile or two. 😊 Thanks for sharing. 👍🙏🏼⚒
In South Africa. The nr.1 reason for lighting a candle is, Loadshedding, where our electricity provider, called Eskom, cuts the power sometimes on a daily basis for around 2 to 3 sometimes 4 hours at a time because of the lack of generating capacity for the whole country. These power cuts depending on the loadshedding stage can be up to 4 times per day resultung in a total of 12 hours without electricity, daily.
Thanks Roy, nice video to enjoy during my lunch break and oven recalibration! If my wife was in the candle scene, this would be a great addition. For that matter, I could get into hot dip candles and candle carving!
Roy and Ms Jess, sorry I missed the stream last night. This was a Good video really liked it. A snuffer may only not be for everyone cuz they haven't got nice candle holders! Goals LoL God bless y'all now Crawford out 🙏🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️
Hi roy i know that this question is off subject but do you have any videos on forge welding multiple scrolls together also what sort of mortice and tenion joint would you recommend a round or square one and does it matter where you use either one or the other and what sort of problems can you run into by using this method of joinery in Window grills, gates or any other number of projects that you would prefer not to use modern welding methods to achieve a similar outcome thanks for all the information and experience that you share on a regular basis
do a good job sir ay hoop its oop to snuff, heh its crazy though you did this without a cone to forge it on black bear made one and so did someone else but they used a cone mandral to forge it on, though this looks very gothic almost, but of course if you make candle holders it is a natural progression to make a candle putter outter though the bell of it might be better if it were a touch larger you dont want to squash the wick into the wax and wider makes an easier target to use belive me as a former altar accolyte
I have a problem spreading steel so thin you make it look so easy.
