This time the ghostricks themselves have a point in the deck, since we use night to keep our field floodgate live. I wouldn't be surprised if this carries over into the deck after wave 2, tbh.
Around a year ago I gave up on TCG archtypes, with every new one caring less and less...and now they actually put out a archtype that has only useable cards. Only Cerberus is wonky but to make all other 6 cards good cards in the deck is impressive. The other times with TCG decks we had to cope, because we saw potential and something was missing. This time it doesnt feel like that, it feels like a well thought out deck that actually doesnt need another 7 good cards to work very well, maybe only like 3. And that is why I have faith into these.
I'm absolutely loving Ashened still and I expect to enjoy this one a ton. I know these archtypes build up a bunch of hope but I'm really happy overall with the stuff they've been coming out with.
How well does this deck synergize with Subterror? Another Earth Flip-centric archetype that facilitates some solid grind games. Guru can also flip a monster on your opponent's side face down to activate your mimighouls, the level 12 behemoth is another source of mass flipping, and the link-2 can both foolish and summon a flip monster from your deck and hand, respectively, as well as search if you do wind up getting some flip triggers on your side of the field.
You should try the rank 1 lyrilusc that when your opponent specials a monster you can detach one to bounce it back to hand just to cuck your opponent from playing

Mostly because it's one of the best generic control board breakers in the game. It's annoying if your flips are face down on your field, but the goal, like siding Shifter, is to annoy the opponent more. Also, for the most part, only Archfiend is really awful to flip up on yourself. You can live with Cerb's banish/summon and Dragon doesn't destroy other Mimighouls.
Weird lists. I think mimighoul fiendsmith is far superior, also cause you can use bea to foolish ruler of boulders, then banish it w/ S:P (made using bea n Sequentia) to rota dragon, :p
Hope this will NEVER become meta, for the opponent the gameplay is as obnoxious and frustrating as stun deck. Having easy access to Guard Dog and Wheesel isn't what I call a "fun deck". I feel like anytime I see the ghostrick shot engine used, it means the archetype needs more support. Nice to see Vernasylph being used!
Why it makes a really good Negate in this Case

Looks promising but lets just hope the second wave of support won't disappoint us like they did with Ashend
I’m having flash back of disappointment from ashen 😢
At least the artwork is amazing 🤷♂️
There’s no way they’re going to let that deck wither away. The art style is too good

It is super cool, like so many TCG archetype. I just really hope they don't fumble the second wave like they so often do.
what was the last TCG archetype that could be considered meta? Danger!?
The deck strategy is solid. Just a couple more monsters and a spell and trap and they will be golden.

never would've suspected ghostrick to have a card like that and he used in this deck
TCG archetypes, potential, and finally disappointment. Is a never ending cycle.
Still 😂
But what Mimighoul got in the first wave alone is better than what Tistina or Ashened have with both waves so there can be hope for this Archetype
That's not the case with this deck. It's actually solid

Lithium that is not Hiro's shadow scout in the side, what are you doing?
I assume Guard Dog wouldn't be viable in Master Duel since Instant Fusion is banned there. Honestly, this sounds like a good thing.
