That story about how no politician in his own government bothered to thank him for saving lives and instead berated him for rushing in, but the actual men and women of his country thanked him on the street and told him he did the right thing was tear jerking to say the least. The man deserves his own theme song, and it appears to be classical.
Well remember how the British government thanked Alan Turing for breaking the Enigma code , an accomplishment which allowed the Brits to intercept Nazi transmissions and decode them? Yeah, they did that to him, said he had a choice of going to jail or being chemically castrated. The government knew all through the war that Turing was a homosexual, considered a crime in Britain at the time. Turing kind of had the last laugh though: he chose to kill himself by ingesting hemlock, an erudite reference to the death of the Greek philosopher Socrates. I think Turing thought that nobody would get the reference and that he died laughing. At least I'd like to think so. Socrates said things like the unexamined life is not worth living, and tyrannical governments post a threat to free thinkers. Also I would just like to say that I admire Chris Craighead for having what we Americans call"the right stuff". I grew up in a military family, West point graduates for seven generations .My dad was a CIA operative during the Cold war. The best family story I have takes place during the Revolutionary War when my gggggggg grandfather was sitting in a pub in Pittsfield Massachusetts having a pint. Guy walks into the pub, dusty from the road, orders his pint and starts talking to my g8 grandfather who asks the guy where he's headed. The guy says Ticonderoga, do you fancy coming along? I could use some more men. My g8 says sure sounds like a bit of fun to me. They down their pints and head out the door. The guy tips his three cornered hat and says names Ethan Allen by the way.
@@0xmoo it's not new, British governments have always mistreated our military, 6 months after Waterloo Parliament were complaining about red coated beggars in the streets, we've always had good troops, but with a few notable exceptions, always had terrible leaders.
It is, but it's sad that he had to. It is appalling what has happened to the UK over the last 25 years. I would almost say I'm angry about it, and I'm American. I've never been to the UK.

Chris, The United States of America would be honored to have you as one of us. You're a damn good bloke and what the UK did with you was disgraceful. As far as I'm concerned, you're already an American in heart.
As an Irishman I appreciated the care taken with discussing/not discussing Northern Ireland and it's complications. Fair play. Think you're a legend Obi.
As a current serving Uk soldier I can absolutely agree with Christian. This country has fallen and I also despise it. I can’t wait for my pension so I can get the hell out.
If all the good men with the balls to fight leave, what happens to the land of the Anglo-Saxon? Are you just going to surrender it to the muslims and far left? The greatest empire to ever exist is going to be defeated by shitty shifty politicians and progressive ideology?
If you come state side avoid the major cities it's just as bad sadly. Also, most veterans' groups state side are nato vet friendly. My local VA actually has translation services for all the guys from Norway or France who come over and realise their English isn't as good as they put on lol.
Yeah, we are nearly as bad as Canada, the Conservatives are woke as a the Labour party, we have a centralised executive government and one of the most authoritarian western democracies, which is a shame as we created the parliamentary system, the Magna Carta, modern law, democracy as it now stands etc. Its a fucking sinking ship.
As a British citizen, I don’t care what any Rupert or Establishment Oik said to you, Mr. Craighead. You did your duty and did both yourself and the Service proud that day. God bless you. Anyone within the civil or military forces who criticised you clearly did not understand the very ethos of the SAS: Who Dares Wins. In a choice between action and saving people, or inaction and watching both civilians and fellow service people die; you made the right choice. You are a hero, sir. I am sad to see you leave our shores, but with the way you’ve been treated by those in government, they don’t deserve you or your service. We are poorer for the loss, but may you find and live your best life in the United States. Thank you for your service. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
I 100% agree with you here, I'm a Brit i love my country and I'm proud of its history. However, the way we treat our people has gone down hill because of the people at the top. All veterans deserve respect and sadly they are not being shown it. Christian Craighead is an outstanding person and we can see that here and in his actions, as a country we are worse off for loosing someone like him. I hope he lives a long and happy life in the states, and like Christian said I wish i could move over there as well. Much love and respect for Christian and all the veterans and sir thank you for your service.
@@steppy2291I’m sorry for what your country is going through. It’s not too much better here. Hopefully our leaders figure it out. But if you ever make it here, we would be lucky to have folk like you.
Yep, totally agree with you. Love England and am proud to be a part of it (might broken in the south but we’re good up in the North East) but like many countries they reward the wrong people - and then go after absolute warriors for the slightest thing like Ant Middleton. But all the best to ya
@lesflynn4455 These dudes have all been making content long before Unsub. Donut and Brandon have been TH-cam legend for years, Demolition Matt is over a decade, Eli has been making Television and TH-cam stuff forever, the newest one to the scene is Curvy Electrical Boy and even he predates Unsub by about a year or 2.
As a Brit who has taken the queen's shilling I absolutely commend Mr Craighead's decision to go to the States, Britain's establishment doesn't deserve men like him.
As an American we are glad to have the legend. We may give you Brit’s shit most of us love y’all and would do anything to go to hell and back for y’all.
The fact you guys launched your own platform and have been getting nothing but support says a lot about the community you've all cultivated! You did it the best way possible. Shout out to Watcher for showing people what not to do.
The moment I saw it pop up at the start I was like, oh no. People are about to hate them like the watcher. My favorite channel is about to go away. But they handled it properly and it’s actually a subscription service cheaper than TH-cam premium, with almost everything I’d watch on TH-cam.
@cog7795 Imagine people wanting to start something that's like TH-cam but without TH-cam's draconian bullshit....and then people saying they went mainstream. Staying on youtube would be the mainstream. And considering this is cheaper than Netflix, with them paying for the upkeep themselves, I'd say it's reasonable. You're welcome to jump off here if you don't like it. They're STILL more respectable than a shill like you.
As a Brit, I wholeheartedly agree with everything Craig has said. All though I find it a crying shame that we as a nation are losing a man of such a calibre but I completely understand and support him for his decision to turn his back on the UK for pastures new. Just remember that when we as a nation unfuck ourselves, you will always be welcome and welcomed back with open arms.
A lot of americans don't seem to know this; Britain was fighting against the Japanese in the pacific theatre before pearl harbor and the US entering the war. They fought extensive ground campaigns against the Japanese in Burma, India and other places. As well as Naval battles.
This isn’t true, Japanese attacked pearl harbour on 7th December 1941. The Japanese invaded Malaya on 8th December 1941. The Japanese attacked the Dutch East Indies on 10th December 1941. It was a coordinated attack that caught the US, the U.K. and the Dutch sleeping.
@@eddiel7635 Technically speaking, the Japanese attacked British colonies before Pearl Harbour, meaning they attacked Britain before they attacked the US. British colonial forces counted as British forces and still do, that's why they had Indian soldiers in WW1.
@@SSD_Penumbra technically speaking no they didn’t, Malaya is the first British colony they attacked and it was after Pearl harbour, as per my previous post. I called it Malaya and not Malaysia for a reason. And I have no idea what British Indian army’s participation in WW1 has to do with this.
Regardless of who was attacked first, there were A LOT of people who fought against Japan in "The Ten Year War" ( what they call WW2, cause they fought for so fucking long )
I was extremely fortunate to meet Mr Craighead back in October. I worked in an automotive repair shop in the austin area. One of our customers had a porsche we needed to pick up. when i arrived I was shocked to have been met by a special English man. After a few minutes of fan girling, he got us the key. He's a real hero, an amazing person to meet and look up to, and in my opinion, the most overqualified person to hand over a key. It was a pleasure to have met him.
Chris's story about the hitchhiker reminded me of a Bible verse: Hebrews 13:2 "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." sounds to me like he met his very own Guardian Angel that day
As a Brit, it's hard to hear Christian talk from 1:40:00 onwards. I understand why he feels that way, but it's sad seeing what I would call 'a true Brit' become so disenfranchised he feels he needs to leave the country. The black cab driver was right, people like Christian put the Great in Great Britain. The UK's loss is the USA's gain.
Many many many american soldiers feel the same way, it’s tragic that seems to be the norm in the world. People who would give their lives for their nation getting kicked while their down
No coincidence he's in Texas either. I'm a Brit also working in Oil and Gas and got out in 2010. Texas is it's own special place. you don't understand what freedom really is until you get here. Especially if you are a firearms guys.
He’s not a true brit though. He, like much of the country, was spiritually American yo begin with. Perhaps he’ll start a coffee company, or maybe sell some sas t shirts
@@jleano609 I'm in Michigan now and I think the only thing holding me back from Texas yet is the heat and (more) tornadoes... But as long as I can have air conditioning and a well anchored home with a basement storm shelter I think I'll go through with it 😁
Christian is absolutely the kind of guy you always want to have as a friend. Not because he's scary, and not because of what he's done. He's just a stand up bloke.
How did I miss this? Excellent podcast. Mr. Craighead is an inspiration. His hitchhiker story and the following events ...God bless you all. Welcome to America Mr. Craighead.
Watch the podcast with Shawn Ryan where Chris tells the story about his childhood bully who tortured him, really badly. Later in life, took that bully to the edge of death.
My stepdad joined the Paras at 16 as well, was sent to Ireland just before his 18 birthday and at midnight was sent out on his first official patrol. And also served in the Falklands War. I’m very proud of him and wish he was still with us.
Have a feeling Obi-Wan Nairobi is getting the best and possibly only therapy he's ever received being with you guys. Warriors speak their own language and are at home when together. Such a great guy and sure he's appreciative of your friendships!!
I may be late to the party, but to anyone from the crew who may still be reading these, and especially to Chris. If the UK turned their back on you, they didn't deserve to have you, you are already an American in my eyes, and your presence is making our country greater. Thank you for your service, and may the next chapter of your life bring you happiness and prosperity.
Correction sir….the UK did not turn their backs on Mr Craighead, the government did! The Uk Gov does not speak for us. He is OUR hero (the people) and we have only lent him to you..🏴🏴
Christian Craighead is the embodiment of how people should be with the Nairobi incident he didn't have to do anything but he chose on his own to act and willing put his life on the line to save innocent lives and stop the terrorist that were trying to kill as many people as they could we need more people like him thank you for what you did
He actually said "I think I'm allowed to say this" and he is literally death on two feet. That man can say anything he wants to say... Such a great guest! I couldn't miss this episode!
@@billhanson4921 Good point. I interpreted it as regarding whether he would be perceived to have "standing" to make the statement itself rather than the ability to say it due to the restrictions placed on him.
Brit living in the US here. Men like you make me proud to be British, Chris. The fact that the country is run by men like the ones who railroaded you is exactly why I’m in the United States now…much of the leadership is the same here, but we do get guns, so….
Thank you for your service Christian, I love hearing your stories. All the best for whatever the future holds. What you've done for this country and the world could never be repayed.
I, for one will be PROUD to have this man be an American!! I proudly stand with him as "the working class" he described. He is spot on with what he said about the establishment SEWER!! Mr Craighead: thank you for the perspective of the Bible being the "handrail" in life!!!!
I have watched a lot interviews with Christian: this interview is my favourite. The whole team is humble, easy going and laid back and relaxed. It really brings out and develops the conversation to a depth that was lacking in other interviews. I really appreciate you guys from now on I am a fan.

Gandalf the Brown took a savory sip from his raspberry White Claw, glaring at the road from beneath his pointy hat and bushy white brows. The road in question, if it could even be called that, was riddled with potholes and almost entirely covered in trash so worthless the impoverished orcs didn't even bother using them to build houses with. "What's the matter, Eli?" Donut asked, nursing his seventh White Claw since breakfast. "Your IED senses tingling again?" The old man nodded. "Once you've been blown up a couple times and lived, you develop a sixth sense about these kinds of things. I think we're gonna have to go the long way." "I don't do hills," said The Fat Electrician. True to his name, Nick was a rounder than average Hobbit, and already sweating despite it not even being noon and having only hiked a mile. "I'm a downhill kind of guy if you catch my drift." "Dude," Donut slurred, "we've been walking to Mordorstan for six weeks. How haven't you dropped a single pound yet?" "Remember all that food we used to have? I do, and the dwarves back there think I'm the second coming of Thor or something because it's 3018 of the Third Age and I know how electricity works." "What's that got to do with anything?" "I promise I won't strike anybody with lighting the next time it storms, and they gave me food. It was a win-win." The old man growled at the pair, warning them to shut up or suffer the wrath of his staff, which for the powerful and mighty Gandalf the Brown, took the shape of a shovel. The hobbits however either didn't notice or didn't care, and were soon joined by a third, leading a packhorse overburdened by too many guns to count. Donut noticed their approach and pointed at the bottle in his hand. "Brandon, where the hell did you get the whiskey?" he demanded. "I haven't had anything but White Claws since breakfast, and I'm starting to get the shakes." "Well, they don't call me AK-Jesus for nothing," Brandon said, flashing an award winning smile. "You think if I turned the water in their well to wine they'd start a new religion around me?" "Quiet, all of you," Gandalf shouted. "In case you three very stupid, very drunk hobbits have forgotten, we're in The Enemy's territory. He has eyes and ears everywhere, and we're probably being watched as we speak. We have no choice, we must get off the road and take to the hills." "Yeah, screw that," Nick said, fishing around in his pockets. "Work smarter, not harder." Donut rolled his eyes. He didn't see much of a point in working at all. He glanced at Brandon and saw him petting the newest addition to his collection. "Dude, did you buy another gun? We can't afford food and you bought another gun." Brandon nodded sheepishly, unsure whether to be proud or ashamed of himself. "It was only thirteen thousand coppers. I couldn't pass a deal like that up." "We don't even have thirteen coppers between us! Did you trade him a gun or something?" "Hell no," Brandon said, practically insulted. "I told him I didn't have the money, but he liked the look of me and said I could write him a check instead." Donut looked at him incredulously. "A check? Dude, just how much money do you owe now?" "Come on, man. It's just a check. It's not real money." He laughed to himself, shaking his head. "I should be a Congressman when I grow up." "Ha, found them." Nick held up half a dozen coppers. "How's money supposed to keep us from stepping on an IED?" Donut asked. "Easy. Mordorstan is a communist country. They don't have food or money, and I'm about to double this entire country's GDP." Although Nick could stand to lose ten or twenty pounds, or perhaps closer to forty, he was a deceptively strong, athletic man, and the coppers sailed over their heads. The moment the tiniest ring echoed through the air, the unmistakable sound of loose change hitting the ground, a mob of orcs emptied their dirt and cardboard homes and flooded the streets, and subsequently disappeared in an explosion of fire, dust, and debris. The hobbits barely heard a thing of course thanks to a lifetime of neglecting ear-pro at the range, and had Gandalf not seen the explosions for himself, he might've just thought it was Nick passing gas again. "About nine hundred and sixty eight pounds of explosives," Gandalf muttered, nodding in agreement with himself. When the dust finally settled, there was nothing left, barely even a road. The bodies had been thrown through the air, mostly to the sides of the road, but a few still lingered in the sky, waiting to come back down. Nick laughed, gesturing in front of him. "Dude, I'm like Moses parting the Red Sea. Get it? Red Sea? Blood? Communism?" Brandon and Donut shook their heads, and finished off their respective drinks, being far too sober in the morning for this. "It's just like Old Pappy used to say," Nick said triumphantly. "Why do something yourself when you can get a foreigner with darker skin than you do it for less than minimum wage." Donut found himself nodding. "Makes sense. I like your pappy. Sounds like a good guy. Kinda sounds like mine to be honest." While the two raised a toast to Pappy Electrician, Brandon was staring at the scene before him, mildly disturbed. A lifetime of watching LiveLeak before bed had mostly desensitized him to anything short of genocide, but there was still some compassion left in his heart and failing liver. "Nick, weren't you a medic or something? Shouldn't you, I dunno, help them?" "Do I look like a necromancer to you? Besides, I was in garrison the entire time. All I did was pass out Motrin like it's fentanyl in middle school and help guys with their hangovers." "Yeah, well, look at Eli. I think he's having war flashbacks or something. That's how PTSD works, right? I didn't serve so I don't know." Gandalf gave the trio a hearty chuckle. "Boys, I don't have PTSD. I have nostalgia. So long as I'm not the one blowing up, or any of my buddies, I'm as happy as a Marine in a crayon factory." He shook his head, remembering the mission after a brief senior moment. "Quickly now, hobbits, before you become too drunk to walk. The ATF is only a day behind us, and not only do they shoot hobbits and dogs on sight, but also horses, meaning not even Sgt. Reckless is safe." The old man took off running, surprisingly spry for a man his age, leaving the hobbits in his wake. "Wait, hold on!" Nick said, fishing out a sharpie. "I can't believe I almost missed this." He jogged to the side of the road, already out of breath, and casually changed the sign reading how many miles left to Mt. Doom from kilometers to miles. "There. We are now one step closer to putting an orc on the moon." "Fly you fools!" God bless, and have a wonderful day :)

From uk and hearing the old mentality of British military, I have never seen such a effective and brutal fighting spirit. I miss it and great to see again. Also no one is taught this these days, feels like we are a husk compared to what we once were.
With things starting to heat back up, I feel like you guys are waking back up and realizing you need a real military again, U.S and U.K might be brothers but you still need to be able to fight a conflict alone if need be. Hell you guys have our F-35s you paid for but didn't buy the missiles because you knew if you ever had to use them, we'd be beside you supplying them anyways. Shit like that is what's got to change.

As a non-declared trainee, I had a chaplain give me a Bible. I kept it with me, because the way that man talked to me, he was genuine about his faith. He was the only person to that point in my life that I had felt talked about it with as much faith and passion as he did. I never saw anything crazy in my time in. I thank God every day for that. I still have that Bible on my shelf. I've never opened it, but remembering that conversation and that man goes a long way when I feel like the world's falling in.
I remember exactly where I was in Nairobi when shit went down. None of us knew who this masked man was at the time, and certainly no one knew of the pivotal role Chris was having in real time on the ground. If one looks at the occasional photos of Chris on mission without the balaclava, one can feel the adrenaline enimating off of him. He stepped up and ran into the burning fire. This is the mark of a man. When it was finally done, he simply disappeared from the scene as 'The Silent Professionals' do. By now of course his cover as a SF forces operator was blown with pictures of this HERO running around this horrific scene saving hundreds of lives and ultimately dealing with the savages who brought mayhem upon innocent people. Chris stepped up and did what he was trained to do. Save people's lives. The rest is history. The words hero & legend are nowadays so overused that the have lost their true meaning. Chris is the definition of hero & legend 🙌 ❤
Not gonna lie, I had no idea who Christian Craighead was before this podcast. I was vaguely aware of "Obi Wan Nairobi", but couldn't tell you much about it. Podcast blew me away, and I'm so sorry for what Christian had to go through and is currently going through, but I wish him nothing but the absolute best becoming an American citizen. I'm glad he's got a good friend group, and much love and support to him. I hope Nick is able to do a video on the main character because it sounds like it'd be a really, REALLY awesome video, and Christian deserves all the love and support in the world. Thank you for your service, Sir, and I love what you've done with the pocket Bible being an "Armor Upgrade". Perfect. Just perfect. Also, he said "The Wrong Wolf" isn't on Amazon, but it actually is. Christian…Back in the early fifties, we, too, played J*ps n Germ*ns, cowboys n ind*ans, Tarzan n Jane, war, crawling under the barbed wire and through our bamboo tunnels and hideouts. Loved it. We had a few old things from WWII plus army green fatigues to wear. We relived WWII most of my early years outside playing for hours. Even the conversations among the adults back at that time were still discussing what really had taken place during WWII that the public had totally been deceived about. Ohh, that was very real but very informative and educational as a young child listening in, remaining silent, as they spoke. I wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything. One learned to be tough. Not at all like today’s childhoods. Back then kids were to be seen and not heard….meaning no interruptions while grownups talked. 🇺🇸SW Louisiana here…Welcome HOME, Chris…we love ya🇺🇸🇬🇧👍🏻”May God bless you many times this day” and forevermore.
In these dark times filled with unscrupulous, evil politicians working against their citizens' best interests, it's refreshing and enheartening knowing such men as Christian walk amongst us.
This is the quietest that I've ever seen Brandon *-(Thankyou for your service, sir)-* and Eli. Donut is about his normal level, though. He said his normal 6 sentences the whole podcast. Glad to have him back. He was sorely missed.
I don't comment on TH-cam because this is my companies account but Christian is a proper workingclass hero, one of the few things or people that still makes me proud to be English, and I can believe every word about no one in the establishment thanking him. Christian's story about that gentleman and then the day of the attack is incredibly powerful. Christ is king fellas, and this story is proof of my faith.
It's nice to see Cristian as a real dude. I watched his interview on Sean Ryan and it was just so stiff he didn't get to open up much. Glad he's here we love heros in the USA, and welcome.

That story about how no politician in his own government bothered to thank him for saving lives and instead berated him for rushing in, but the actual men and women of his country thanked him on the street and told him he did the right thing was tear jerking to say the least.
The man deserves his own theme song, and it appears to be classical.
Nicely said.
Appalling that he was side lined like that - disgusting CC is a legend!

- Legend Christian Craighead

"Your IED senses tingling again?"
The old man nodded. "Once you've been blown up a couple times and lived, you develop a sixth sense about these kinds of things. I think we're gonna have to go the long way."
"I don't do hills," said The Fat Electrician. True to his name, Nick was a rounder than average Hobbit, and already sweating despite it not even being noon and having only hiked a mile. "I'm a downhill kind of guy if you catch my drift."
"Dude," Donut slurred, "we've been walking to Mordorstan for six weeks. How haven't you dropped a single pound yet?"
"Remember all that food we used to have? I do, and the dwarves back there think I'm the second coming of Thor or something because it's 3018 of the Third Age and I know how electricity works."
"What's that got to do with anything?"
"I promise I won't strike anybody with lighting the next time it storms, and they gave me food. It was a win-win."
The old man growled at the pair, warning them to shut up or suffer the wrath of his staff, which for the powerful and mighty Gandalf the Brown, took the shape of a shovel. The hobbits however either didn't notice or didn't care, and were soon joined by a third, leading a packhorse overburdened by too many guns to count.
Donut noticed their approach and pointed at the bottle in his hand.
"Brandon, where the hell did you get the whiskey?" he demanded. "I haven't had anything but White Claws since breakfast, and I'm starting to get the shakes."
"Well, they don't call me AK-Jesus for nothing," Brandon said, flashing an award winning smile. "You think if I turned the water in their well to wine they'd start a new religion around me?"
"Quiet, all of you," Gandalf shouted. "In case you three very stupid, very drunk hobbits have forgotten, we're in The Enemy's territory. He has eyes and ears everywhere, and we're probably being watched as we speak. We have no choice, we must get off the road and take to the hills."
"Yeah, screw that," Nick said, fishing around in his pockets. "Work smarter, not harder."
Donut rolled his eyes. He didn't see much of a point in working at all. He glanced at Brandon and saw him petting the newest addition to his collection.
"Dude, did you buy another gun? We can't afford food and you bought another gun."
Brandon nodded sheepishly, unsure whether to be proud or ashamed of himself. "It was only thirteen thousand coppers. I couldn't pass a deal like that up."
"We don't even have thirteen coppers between us! Did you trade him a gun or something?"
"Hell no," Brandon said, practically insulted. "I told him I didn't have the money, but he liked the look of me and said I could write him a check instead."
Donut looked at him incredulously. "A check? Dude, just how much money do you owe now?"
"Come on, man. It's just a check. It's not real money." He laughed to himself, shaking his head. "I should be a Congressman when I grow up."
"Ha, found them." Nick held up half a dozen coppers.
"How's money supposed to keep us from stepping on an IED?" Donut asked.
"Easy. Mordorstan is a communist country. They don't have food or money, and I'm about to double this entire country's GDP."
Although Nick could stand to lose ten or twenty pounds, or perhaps closer to forty, he was a deceptively strong, athletic man, and the coppers sailed over their heads.
Get it? Red Sea? Blood? Communism?"
Brandon and Donut shook their heads, and finished off their respective drinks, being far too sober in the morning for this.
"It's just like Old Pappy used to say," Nick said triumphantly. "Why do something yourself when you can get a foreigner with darker skin than you do it for less than minimum wage."
Donut found himself nodding. "Makes sense. I like your pappy. Sounds like a good guy. Kinda sounds like mine to be honest."
While the two raised a toast to Pappy Electrician, Brandon was staring at the scene before him, mildly disturbed. A lifetime of watching LiveLeak before bed had mostly desensitized him to anything short of genocide, but there was still some compassion left in his heart and failing liver.
"Nick, weren't you a medic or something? Shouldn't you, I dunno, help them?"
"Do I look like a necromancer to you? Besides, I was in garrison the entire time. All I did was pass out Motrin like it's fentanyl in middle school and help guys with their hangovers."
"Yeah, well, look at Eli. I think he's having war flashbacks or something. That's how PTSD works, right? I didn't serve so I don't know."
Gandalf gave the trio a hearty chuckle. "Boys, I don't have PTSD. I have nostalgia. So long as I'm not the one blowing up, or any of my buddies, I'm as happy as a Marine in a crayon factory."
He shook his head, remembering the mission after a brief senior moment. "Quickly now, hobbits, before you become too drunk to walk. The ATF is only a day behind us, and not only do they shoot hobbits and dogs on sight, but also horses, meaning not even Sgt. Reckless is safe."
The old man took off running, surprisingly spry for a man his age, leaving the hobbits in his wake.
"Wait, hold on!" Nick said, fishing out a sharpie. "I can't believe I almost missed this." He jogged to the side of the road, already out of breath, and casually changed the sign reading how many miles left to Mt. Doom from kilometers to miles.
"There. We are now one step closer to putting an orc on the moon."
"Fly you fools!"
God bless, and have a wonderful day :)
Dude, nice.
You definitely should’ve been pinned or get more likes for this 😂
That's the best damn comment i've ever read.
@@Kriegsmen-7803 Thank you kindly, friend. I've posted it to the subreddit and have been posting it here on TH-cam with every podcast, but so far no such luck. Hopefully someday. I love these guys, and my life wouldn't be the same without them. I'm a writer by trade and this is just my little way of giving back and amusing everyone. God bless, and have a wonderful day.

I know they say dont meet your heros but this is one hero it would be an honour to meet.
Welcome to America, Christian. We're glad you're here.
I have heard that voice, clear and without origin. I was driven off a road, Del Dios Highway betwee Solana Beach and Escondido, two four wheelers racing. Twas a simple choice, die or jump the curb into the dark abyss. I hit the curb and thought those are the most beautiful stars I have ever seen. A voice of overwhelming depth said "Relax, we are with you." This happened when I was 18, I am now 63 and I remember the voice to this day. Highway Patrol the next day said they were amazed I was alive.Believe in our Lord, for he knew the numbers of hairs on your head before you were born.
When your guardian angels are like "Relax, we got you" ... woo!
Chills, and hallelujah, God is so cool lol, I say that every now and then when synchronicities happen
That SAS operator is a badass
There all pretty chill dudes met a few as live near were a few live and train there not all 7ft built like forts but never seen one lose a fight
@@Theshropshireratter considering the SAS has ended a max sec prison riot with only non-lethal in a few hours, yeah wouldn't surprise me
It's really cool that he's running for congress district 23 now. And he served with Christian Craighead!
Dude was in the Para’s whose battle cry is essentially “hello there”… coincidence?… I think not.
I'm happy that this man lives in America.
I’m so glad this dude is in Texas. The freest place left in the world!!!
@@johnwray393to be fair the U.K. was a tier 1 member of the f35 they had quite a bit of input on building it as well and the U.K. uses meator which has a longer range and a shorter arming range is faster and has a larger warhead than the u.s equivalent that’s why we didn’t buy the u.s missile
We have been blessed again!
I love mr. Craighead even more now that i know he's Christian. Its refreshing to see a faithful warrior
"The Handrail" is a very poetic explanation. So very well said.
@@jopro3388 absolutely loved it
As a non-declared trainee, I had a chaplain give me a Bible.
How could you not know he was christian, it's in his name!

"We'll follow you anywhere. Because we're scared" 😂
I don't know if Christian misspoke, isn't aware, or if Amazon is doing something they shouldn't, but the book is being sold on Amazon currently. Much love and support. God bless, and have a wonderful day.
The book is out of stock rn unfortunately
@@krystianzyszczynski4115 Looks like viewers scarfed it up because it wasn't earlier. Hopefully they restock, but either way, I hope Christian sells a ton.
Dude if you want a truly deep dive into this incredible gentleman the shawn ryan podcast episode is fan fucking tastic.
It's awesome to see King Trout having more of a presence in Unsub.
This man is that guy you want by your side! I'm happy to embrace you as a fellow American and, most importantly, a Texan!!!!
Im British 🇬🇧 and some of the things Christian has talked about I didn't even know. Awesome
We need more Americans like this. Nothing but love for you brother.

Welcome to America Christian we are happy to have people like you as an American
My favourite part was when Brandon talked about his shared operations with chris. Both of them are true hero's
Haha although Brandon is the MoH recipient there! Lol
I belly laughed so hard when Christian and Eli got into that argument about parking the car, that's exactly what family sounds like. love the crew, another great episode.
Excellent podcast with a phenomenal guest. Probably one of my favorite episodes of unsub.
How is this one of the most wholesome episodes ever and yet still the best?
I've seen many interviews from this man. He has said the exact same words describing the day of the attack. This man is the real deal
I don't comment on TH-cam because this is my companies account but Christian is a proper workingclass hero, one of the few things or people that still makes me proud to be English, and I can believe every word about no one in the establishment thanking him. They call themselves elite but it's Christian that is elite. Thanks for your service bro and I don't blame you at all for wanting to be American, good look with your new life out there and know that there are a lot of us proud of you.
This is hands down the best episode of the podcast and Christian should be a roll model for all of us cause damn dude is humble as fuck and a certified badass
As an ex infantry vet Christian is the best of this shit hole country I’d follow that man into any battle we have lost a hero and America has gained a legend
We're proud to have him lol, yall sure raised and trained him right tho, no doubt about that haha
Traitor.
@@LoyalandTrue.here you are again with all this negativity, I’ll tell you what ‘you are not British!!!!
Hands down my favorite episode. Chris is such an awesome person.
1:30:13 - I was always taught that the people who are the true heroes or the best at their “insert whatever here” are the ones who quietly go about their business and don’t draw attention to what they’ve done. I’ve always tried to live that lifestyle. ❤ Thank you for your service, all of you. ❤️
The UK GOV should be ashamed of themselves for what they said about the Nairobi incident. This guy as an absolute hero who saved many lives!
Christian's story about that gentleman and then the day of the attack is incredibly powerful. Christ is king fellas, and this story is proof of my faith.

Signed the fuck up for pepperbox. Stoked as hell to see you guys grow that and get the full community on board.

Son who’s a massive fan of Christian went for a meal at our local town and realised Christian was sat at the next table with a close family member. My son said Christian immediately noticed him and just looked at my son, winked and smiled, son didn’t feel he could interrupt Christian’s meal - this was family time.
It's so cool that they had Obi Wan Nairobi and Brandikin Skywalker on the podcast.

I only learned of Christian about a year ago. He seems genuine and I'm proud that he is a Texan now. God always puts us where he needs us to be.
Wait, you mean to tell me that guy who doesn't look that Christian is about to turn FIFTY in a couple of years? Holy crap, that dude moisturizes and has got some good genes, either that or everyone else is aging like milk.
Mr Craighead's appearance on Shaw Ryan is a must watch.
It was one of the most uncomfortable and awkward podcasts i`ve ever seen...you could see the fear he had of his own government by talking about anything...
Britain is dead, Britainistan is alive and collapsing...
My Great Grandparents fled Cuba LEGALLY to the US in the 1900's to the US. Very true that Cuban's spidey sense goes off immediately around anything with the scent of Communism or Fascism.
I swear it something that gets passed down that you just gets instilled along with a deep love of the US and it's beautiful Constitution.
South Africa is also another country that the US REALLY doesn't want. I know this because of how difficult it was for this wonderful South African family I know to come to the US legally.
These are skilled, college educated, law abiding couple with a precious little girl. Good patriotic ppl who just want a chance to make a life for themselves.
Christian looks like British Chuck Norris. Cool dude, excellent guest.
