You are such a SOLID/INTELLIGENT reviewer/communicator. I know this review was a while back, haha - but I'm STILL impressed. FYI, I'm an actor & I read a lot of good & bad scripts. Through the years, I've differentiated was is good AND the bad, by reading novels/novellas. Your review was so informative! Congrats!
The Murder of Twelve sounds fun. Jessica Fletcher meets Agatha Christie style mystery. Yes, please. I may add this to my Cloak and Dagger Christmas TBR in December. I have some time off of work next week so I'm definitely planning on watching some Murder, She Wrote. I can't wait!
I use to be your state neighbor. (Tennessee) I just moved to Virginia and ITS SO COLD!! And its dark here right at 5pm 😰😰I've been in super cozy mode. Hot apple cider ,blankets, sweaters and BOOKS of course. Great video as always! 🥰🥰 stay safe
I appreciated the dark scale for these books! Sometimes I enjoy chilling tales, but when it's particularly dark and cold, I find cozy mysteries more comforting 😅
👏🏾👏🏾 I liked the cozy to dark list. I have read from three of the authors (Christie, Keplar, and Deaver) and your descriptions were so true. :) I am more of a Christie to Nesbo reader. 😌
AHHH I am SO happy I found this video, I've been soooo into mysteries recently and with it going into winter this is just the absolute perfect group of books for me!! The Redeemer sounds especially interesting!!! And I won a Jeffrey Deaver book a while back, but haven't read it yet!!! I'm even more excited to jump into that one though & I want to get this one as well now! :)
One romantic suspense novel I recommend is Chill Factor by Sandra Brown. It has a forced proximity trope where the two MCs are stuck in a cabin together during a blizzard. So so so good!! 🥶
Miss I.B. Do you feel any difference in reading the books on your phone vs paper books? I personally like the phone version due to visual issues. Just wondering if others have preference... M. Ps Hmmm you think Dec is cold? Oh hun... Try Chicago in Feb. ☃ Pps. You never said y'all! Bummmmin... M. Elgin IL
Haha, I surprised myself by not saying ya'll this time around! I don't usually read on my phone unless I'm waiting in line and don't have a book with me. Otherwise I prefer my kindle or paperbacks! Also, I do NOT envy you in Chicago in Feb -- you put all my complaining to shame!! :)

Sounds like an amazing way to spend the day off!
The Hunting Party is a winter-themed (during New Years) and it's also a closed mystery. I think you'd really like it!
Oooh, thanks for the rec! NYE is right around the corner so that sounds perfect! :)

Thank you! I hear you on the dark days... super cozy mode is necessary to survive! :)

I totally agree!

Awesome :) It's a good range to be in!

Yay! I'm so glad! Jeffrey Deaver is one of my favorite crime fiction authors, especially his Lincoln Rhyme series!!
Thanks for the recommendations. I’m definitely checking these out.🤗
Awesome! 🤗
Great recommendations. The only one I have read is Murder on the Orient Express. I am going to check out the other ones.
Awesome! Happy reading :)
These all sound great for winter reads! My TBR is growing
Good thing we're all stuck at home! ;)
@@IntentionallyBookish very true
I will definitely be reading the Murder She Wrote book, probably in January 📖📚 Loved seeing your pup in the background, sitting up looking so cute 😊💚
You know he likes to make his cameos, Lisa ;)
Love when a new video of your pops up! Will look forward to watching this with a nice cup of tea!
Yay, thank you!
Loved this! You are definitely not alone in loving a good dark mystery 🖤
You know we like 'em dark sometimes :D
I’m in south too. I’m in NC we don’t get that much winter either
We can wish! ;)
I’ve really been wanting to try Ruth Ware!!🖤
Give her a go Bree, but if you do I recommend reading and not listening to the audio (I think it can drag down the story)!
I love Murder on the Orient Express. I have not read any of the Murder She Wrote mysteries (gasp!) so this may be a good one to start.
If you love Agatha Christie then definitely give MSW a try! :)
Will definitely check out Jeffrey Deaver. I haven't read Tami Hoag in ages.
Yes, Tami Hoag is an oldie by still good!
Yeah we’re cooler in the morning and night but still reaching 90 degrees in the afternoon 😫
Oh wow. I can definitely commiserate!!

Ooh, that sounds right up my alley!
