Maybe I'm an overly dramatic dude, but Tekken 4 had just peak music, Tekken plot-wise is such a dark game where everyone hates each other, but the music is just wonderful, it's calm and dynamic at the same time, of course the rave-party music from Tekken 7 and 8 is also not bad, but the entire soundtrack from Tekken 4 feels as if each hero left his hatred before the battle, and during the battle he was completely in concentration
I don’t think I’ll ever not be confused about how or why the iTunes version of this album decided to exclude the drums from this song when they’re clearly the best part.
Full disclaimer as a 90s kid: I would say it had to do with Copyright. Maybe the artist who did the drums for the song wanted it to be on their own separate account. I’m guessing and judging by the fact that most of those gaming soundtracks back then had a lot of the simple beats that would involve percussions and even things like spoons done by actual people and that’s what I was guessing on as far as the reason, but I might be wrong lol. Timbaland’s music is actually pretty influenced by it too, I’ve noticed with his production that his music has a tendency to lean more towards these genres of music as well as the Japanese production influences as well.
@@rynojs2013 You could hear it. Some of Tekken's 2000s era tracks sounds like something Missy Elliott would rap to. Unknown Theme from TT1 is the best example
This is one of those tracks that stick with you for the rest of your life. First heard this when I played Tekken 4 as a 16 year old. I am now 37 and still remember those drums playing during the replay at the end of each round.
Fr man, Tekken 4 was such a unique entry in the series that it sticks with you. Authentic Sky paired with the Building stage just give off such a atmospheric vibe. Absolutely classic.
I used to love this song playing as a child especially the drums. At the same time, hearing the drums means you got your A** handed to you, because it took so long for the drums to come in. If you heard the drums chances are, you were almost brought to tears 😅
@@KingToshin you are the man, The times I had back in the 2000s with this game wqa so good, it was the most realistic tekken with the visual style match that era too, same with tekken tag 1 is was peak 90s style

It is a fucking crime that the drums are rarely included on online versions like spotify
Or even the official soundtrack.

Not dramatic, objective
The bgm when the narrator is talking is cinematic too

They did?! Wth

@@LuffyBlack right? It just had that futuristic sound and simple beats that Missy and Timbaland like to play with a lot in their tracks 🥲💙
It's 2:30AM, and I'm the only one on the road. Listening to this while driving.
Same

so much emotion behind the fights on the building so much intensity they should make the next one and all the old maps from 4 no new shit
Yes ❤❤
Aww man I was 10 when I heard this track played Tekken 4 on my PS2 Thank you Mum And Dad for the memories RIP😢now I'm 28 still a part of me.
My condolences brother, may they rest in peace. 🙏
Finally a version that isn't 15 minutes long
But drums sound lower quality here
Namco has been taking down regular versions of the song. Extended versions don't get caught by the TH-cam bot.
But the long versions are dope man, I could listen to this music all day
@@halionextrayeah they do
I wish for games to have soundtracks like this again..
There's just something about those drums, man. One of the only drumbeats I've ever heard that could be described as transcendent.
Best song on tekken 4 hands down
Facts
This and the airport theme
Listening to this at night with all the lights off is very relaxing, or while looking at the night sky sitting in your backyard
I had to put this as the menu theme in tekken 8 it fits so well
Always got paired with either Kazuya or Bryan for this stage.
Sounds like the Ridge Racer 7 Main Menu BGM
I like it
every ladies and gentlemen’s should start their day with this

Alright this is the best version and in really good quality. Please don't delete this video. Also sick cover art. Is that official or fanmade?
It's official, it's the artwork for the vinyl

Perfect intro theme for your workout.
Честно, человеку который начал свой осознанный путь в теккене с 7ой части, я всё равно в ахуе с музыки олдовых частей.
This track is just not the same without the drums
2:48
Nostalgic Vibes... Amazing Soundtrack Ambience... ☯️🎶👌
What numbskull at Namco decided to exclude the best part of the song from the OST release?
I need a version with the drums from the very beginning.
anybody know what sample the drum loop is from?
It’s from the _original_ mix of the in-game track. I don’t think Namco ever officially released it on any of the OSTs.

thx 4 the upload
Can you please upload this on Spotify?
So is this a fan made edit or officially licensed track? Cause I haven't heard this particular mix anywhere apart
It's a fanmade edit
This song is better than the whole entire Tekken 8 stage ost 😂
You are not over the age of 18.
@@jgblkshot8375that is so unrelated 😭
What genre of music that song would be classified as?
Trance I would guess
Jungle, Drum and Bass.
Lounge
Closest I can think of is 90s to early 00s vaporwave/chillwave edm
They did heihachi dirty with the album art lol (excellent upload btw)
There's full scans of the artwork they made for the vinyls (Wish I had the hindsight to have used it, but it is what it is lol) ty
Mike Wazowski moment
@@KingToshinI just realised this was hand drawn lmao. Thought it was the normal CG version
