growing up in a country and especially a family where people just leave to cool off and come back after an argument like nothing happened without apologising or even acknowledging the situation has made me appreciate this approach all the more. People often say that arguments are important for building healthy relationships and I agree to an extent but the real challenge and the thing that really shows if that relationship, whether romantic or otherwise, is gonna work out is how a disagreement is handled and how you move on afterwards. Anddd after rambling this much, I guess the only thing I really want to say is that I'm glad people like you exist in this world to be able to set healthy examples for others who may not know how they deserve to be treated
I couldn't agree more with how you look at disagreements in a healthy relationship. Arguing over something like mature adults is a sign that you care, yes, but it's 99% how you dismantle the argument and move on from there. Do you throw a tantrum because they disagreed with you? Do you ignore them because you're upset?
There's a lot of nuances that come with something as important as disagreement in relationships, but I find that so many of the pitfalls that people fall into can be avoided by lowering our pride and simply being honest without mal intent. If you should be saying sorry, say sorry. If you're not laying your feelings down on the table, start communicating. It doesn't have to be any more complicated than that.

Why did this actually make me cry?
As someone who struggles with bpd and autism so when something like a fight arise I shut down and close myself off and so many times after I would get yelled at or verbally/mentally abused i never heard a sorry or anything along these lines along with the abusers in my life never taking accountabiliy for their actions so when you did the opposite and actually,genuinely apologized,took accountability and didnt make empty promises I'll be honest,I sobbed like a baby . healed a parts of me that I already knew needed healing and other parts I didn't.
This was a very long winded way of saying I loved this audio and it made me feel better
Not one to comment usually, but this audio healed something in me. As someone who is very sensitive and almost always experiences sort of emotional numbness during and after arguments, it's disheartening that there are not a lot of people who actually try to de-escalate such conflicts in a mature and honest manner instead of pointing fingers and blaming or worse, straight up acting like it never happened afterwards. My experiences with it have stemmed from my family and certain friends, so i know how bad it hurts when the situation isnt resolved but you're supposed to leave it in the past because everyone wants it that way. That's what you get when you're raised in a culture where showing and processing your emotions is a weakness ig. But this was done so, so beautifully. Words can't express the absolute relief I felt listening to this. You are truly an amazing va Nora ❤ You put your soul in these videos, and it shows. Please never change, ever. Your channel is honestly a safe space for me at this point lol
