Hello...with the prices going up on parts it used to be around 6k in parts and i used to charge 2k for labor...I charge 2500 now in labor and parts have gone up in price...so with all that being said its around 8500-9000 dollars for the swap...I only make money off my labor so whatever parts cost is what you pay..I do not add money on top of parts...also we have figured out how to flash the stock ecu and have a tune for the 450 which works really good...so that saves you from buying an aracer mini5 which is hard to come by now since the new aracer mini X is coming out....so there are a few ways to cut the price a little but its still expensive but you are getting all brand new parts not a used ebay motor or a motor from a wrecked motorcycle with 30k miles on it....
@@mrmikemouth I understand the inflation from then till now. Would it be better to buy a bigger bike or would you say it's actually better than a big bike?
@@Fachuuu82 well thats the question I get asked alot...they say for that kind of money you can buy a 1000cc used big bike or a brand new 650-700cc bike...it all depends on what your looking for in your motorcycle...the tnt450 makes you become a hooligan...it wheelies so easy and it is very flickable so its fun in the twisties....it has almost 2 gallon tank so if your just being easy and cruising you can get over 100 miles to a tank but for me thats hard to do since I'm always racing cars and doing wheelies and ripping it on the freeway....if you are not the type of guy who doesn't want attention then dont get one of these...this bike gets more looks and questions and pictures taken than any ducati or harley...the tnt450 will do it all...it does freeway speeds easily,it drag races,it does wheelies,it cruises,it goes around corners fast....a full size bike has its pros and cons...after riding the tnt450 a full size bike just feels big and lazy...again it just depends on what you want to do on a motorcycle....
@@mrmikemouth that's awesome advice and I appreciate the honesty. I don't wheelie but I do want to be able to do highway speeds and corner better. My tnt only upgrades are black widow header and a tail tidy. We're in the same groups for benellis. I spoke to you as well as Angelo's. Angelos was going to do my stock ecu but I wanted to decide what I'm doing with it. I rode 450s in motocross so I know the torque and power it makes. It is a alot of power on the tnt
@@Fachuuu82 well just let me know if you want to do a swap...
$8500 for this swap?? That's over 10 grand for that bike, why not just buy a bigger bike for less money??
Its actually closer to 12k if you bought your tnt135 new....anyone can go buy a new bigger bike and go faster and thats great...but you can't go buy a tnt450..when you roll up to the spot people want to know what it is..when you smoke ktm 390,cbr500,ninja400 on your mini bike its priceless....smiles per miles is what it is about..until you have ridden a mini with a big motor or have done over 110mph on 12 inch wheels or doing wheelies at 90mph you will never understand...its not for everyone...

You can't really call it a TNT135 anymore. It doesn't count. Kudos for the engineering and making it all work. I'd love to have that ability myself. I'd be really interested to hear your opinions on the standard forks. I find them awful and I am considering swapping them out with 2006 Hinda CBR600RR forks as they arent far off the same size. Its a project I'm looking into but it won't be cheap at all. Can't find a decent set of forks to begin with either!
It's now a TNT with a 450 engine the number 135 no longer applies it's a novelty bike
So u build these for someone I’d pay to have someone to do it
