I have one that worked really well for us. Bedrooms on one side, social areas on the other. Very functional home for all seasons.

put fridge where the flower pot is sitting problem solved. love floor plan. switch stove top and sink greese on a window is never good.

I think it's a codes violation for a stove to be in front of a window.
Also, for additional pantry, instead of those plants, it could be a cupboard instead. It'll also be an additional wall to hang up family pictures in the receiving area

I love the “NO FRIDGE” kitchen!!! Nothing like having a new house with a big red camping Igloo cooler on the floor! I guess that could be an option.

Good design. Seems it could scale up nicely, too. Agree on stove issue, and yes, a fridge would go where the plant is. Another possible option *might* (depends on whether that’s a load bearing spot of the structure) be: reversing the front & back as entrance. The open portion of the U shape could be the (more private) back side of the house, and the closed straight portion would face the street. Front door could be placed where the cello is in the family room. Another option could be to add a small gas or faux fireplace below the TV. Many possibilities to suit one’s taste with these good bones you laid down. Adore that plant room divider!! Overall, very very nice indeed. 👍🏼

I don't understand why designers act like the tv is just some background prop instead of the focus of the living room. They never place the seating to accommodate real life.
Maybe because the tv isn’t the focus of living room for most people? 🤨

Actually, I don’t have a TV in my living room I don’t have a TV in my house and there’s only one place that I go and use my device on and that’s not the living room. It’s the room where my desk is.
Who needs a TV anyway? Not having one for 15 years.
I don’t watch TV. I think a fire place would have looked nicer there. Did anyone else notice that:
1. There were no comfy easy chairs.
2. There was no refrigerator.
3. There was no ironing board.
4. Was that an extra toilet in the laundry room?

I’m 2:30 in and so far I love this! I actually came up with a very similar concept using 8 8 x 40 shipping containers. Make it into a full square home with a courtyard that had an oasis pool (just a small one) with enough space for vegetables, flowering plants, some mini fruit trees . . . I even had the entrance foyer as a small art gallery!
I have those plans somewhere . . . .

Mine was drawn up to enter into the gallery which I looked back and that gallery/foyer/hallway is only 1 - 8 X 40 container. It feeds straight into the courtyard through glass doors.

Your design is probably a better layout than this 6 kitchen chairs in the kitchen, but no fridgerator in the house. Then only room for 2 adults and 1 child to sleep?? A study/den about 7' wide? Windows which don't open and become zones to freeze in the winter. If a new house design, then why not some "green" and "recycle" areas. Clothes hanging near the w/d; induction cooking with solar power; thermo driveway heating; garage or cold cellar; air lock entry; rain catchment; recycle area; pet washing station. Not an efficiently designed.
This would work for two families if scaled up. Each wing private family space & the entire adjoining wing as a communal kitchen dining laundry area. For elderly parents this would work easily, staying one story if possible. I know many families looking for this option.
Huge missed opportunity having desk facing wall rather than that fantastic window in the room with the telescope.

Well laid floor plan. The courtyard is a simple winning solution for almost year round gathering.
Love the layout overall! Great design features. As others have mentioned, the kitchen needs a few changes to layout, but the space is awesome. My suggestions are to switch the sink and cooktop, move double oven next to cooktop on right side and put a fridge in the double oven space. The footprint would basically be the same as far as space. Great job designing and presentation was spectacular.

Nice design! As some have said, it does need minimal tweaking in areas of the house, but as an overall concept, it's good. I'm guessing for building code, a space this size will need another entry/exit point. Probably along either wall of that back corner of the kitchen. And a carport or garage for the car(s). Great work! 💙
A real beautiful home! I just have loved to have seen the washing machine/dry in the hall way in that upright position closet space.
Despite many negative comments I think you made a great job! I think some people lack imagination to make small changes to suit their taste and needs; I agree that you forgot the Refrigerator but I like the comment you made about it! It’s a pretty small house!

I really love this. 2 Bedroom 2 1/2 Bathrooms. See commode in laundry room. So guests do not have to enter private bedrooms. And I love that all the windows are mirrored on the outside so that you get privacy with all those views from the inside.
Only during the day does the mirror glass keep viewers out. At night it's a wide open view
This home is so amazing! From the bathroom sink/tub/shower are nice additional touch. I love the kitchen design. I love it how it isn't close to any bathroom. I love how the living room connects both bedrooms. This is absolutely a fantastic small home! Thanks for showing this design!

I love this type of floorplan. Everything separated but using the courtyard as a beautiful garden or outdoor kitchen or a built in swimming pool. So many possibilities. I also love many of the furnishings. Not Everything is what i would choose design wise but of course that is each persons choice. The presentation was great.

Beautiful design, but I would change just a couple of things. First and foremost, though it is very elegant, I would have divided the kitchen and living room via a kitchen island with bar stools on the living room side! It would add extra storage and make the space feel much larger and open! Plus I would have moved the kitchen sink over to the window so I could see out as I washed dishes or prepped them for the dishwasher. -- From the overhead shot of the entire layout, you can see how the kitchen has quite a lot of wasted space along the back wall, but lower cabinets could be filling in that space and connect to the kitchen island coming out from that back wall, creating even more storage space.
I also think I would have moved the living room out just one section further into the patio to create even more space, without removing too much outdoor patio space... as it is already very large!
But overall.... this is absolutely stunning and gives me some great ideas! -- Am wondering if this can be created out of 3 large shipping containers... with a basement?? 🤫

Somebody spent a lot of time doing 3D modeling. All the green deciduous trees with leaves in the snow are a bit weird, not to mention blooming flower beds in winter, but hey, it's your planet.

Interestingly pretty..Love the court yard and design. The mirrored windows are a definite plus. However, I don't think I need or want a commode in my laundry room.
There is no guest bathroom that's why it's in the laundry. Guests would have to use one of the en-suites otherwise.

I would put the bedrooms together with a shared/public bathroom and a laundry room near there. Then have the kitchen and living room on the other side and an opening to the courtyard but it's a great idea.

First distracted by snow with summer blooming plants & indoor plants out on snow covered patio? Make up your mind what season--better yet, have a transition thru seasons (with appropriate flowering). And all the decor distracting from the floor plan! And yes, where's the frig? Not including but is not a good option to keep the kitchen looking open. Though if under counter drawer style, that'd be nice--but suspect the kitchen was not designed by someone who uses one?? Sink should be at the window, solid wall behind cook top--else always cleaning grease & steam off the window... nice idea, though.

Very nice, like a dream house. But I would swap the places of the kitchen and the living area. In my area it is common to eat in the porch/garden in the summers. Carrying foods and drinks would be easier. Besides kitchen would take the cold coming from outside instead of living room. Also as mentioned by someone, swapping the front and backyard could also be a good idea.

A house without a front door. The courtyard looks like it should be facing the garden, not the street, but there is no proper front door on side that looks like it should face the front of the property.
Put a covered entryway at the access gate on the fence line, add a ring doorbell out there and who needs a 'proper' front door? You'd have your own private gated community lol 😅
Haustüren und Flure sind Verschwendung, die Aufgabe ist es Alternativen zu entwickeln; schöner Grundriss, der Innenhof könnte/ sollte noch mehr Privatspäre erhalten. Die Musik ist grauenhaft, die Videoführung seeehr langatmig, aber das hat nichts mit dem Hausentwurf zu tun. Danke!
The only thing I do not like of the plan is the toilet in the Landry room. Clean clothes do not match with what is manage in a toilet business.

Huge amount wall area and glass for temperate climate. With central outdoor space seems like design suited for warm area.
Nice rendering, very plush, good color & lighting. Flowers in the snow tho? Beach front & palm trees wold have nailed it.

Love it. But my car needs a house too. Design wise the bedrooms are great, practically, they should be on the north side to keep them cool. Unless you put the garage next to the bedroom that faces the sun and install sky lights instead. Two more rooms could make it into an H shape and add entry points for the two rooms to go into the deck area.

Cabinetry throughout is nice! I would put sconces on outside edge panels in extra room. They are in an obstruction area to corner shelving.

I agree with Linda Mayhew about the fridge idea, plus in my opinion I don't like those huge windows in the bedrooms.
In the laundry room instead of a window replace it with a door, then you won’t have to keep traipsing through the front door to hang the washing on the line. The toilet in the laundry is not very wise then so just adjust the en-suite in the bedroom to become shared access for visitors and voila a beautiful home.
You gotta watch out for those sudden June snow storms. You end up with snow on your flowers.

Dont like furniture but love the design
Great Floorplan. Not too keen on the plant wall, removing it would open up the entire space into a great room then add a nice island for the kitchen to serve as gathering place. Way too much white feels cold would change the interior decor.

I had a similar design with a retractable roof for the courtyard. Sonora desert in mind.
I like the general design and layout. I know the design is for show, but viewers want to see themselves living in the space. Details matter, as you know. You forgot, for example, the refrigerator. In a house designed for 3-4, having 6 chairs at the small dining table seems crowded rather than cozy. I would like to see a larger office with the desk facing the window (screen glare would be a problem), and I would make the second bathroom "public" rather than en suite and put the master on the far side rather than next to the kitchen.
Overall a very livable design. The spring flowers plus snow was an interesting choice.
Sink goes in front of window to help make washing pleasant and the stove needs a proper wall backsplash for easier grease cleaning.
Looks like a dogtrot house. There was a breezeway through the center, only it was not closed like this one. You could open the windows of the rooms, and the breeze would keep the home much cooler than the typical home. They were really popular in the 1800s.
Winter snow with summer greenery at the same time is a little distracting, frankly.
