I wish my manual had showed how to install the right grease tray, the one they show is different and I ended up installing it upside down and backwards and ruined my first two cooks because the temps were off. I finally found this video, I hope my next cook is better or my wife is going to be turned off to pellet smoking.
I just bought this grill used and from a friend. It's very complicated compared to my other grill / smoker. Do you have a video showing how to adjust the temps once we get it up and running?
I just figured it out once it’s up to at least 160 if you the up button it will show the lowest it can go and just keep pressing the up button until you reach the desired temp
I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.
Happy to help out here if you still need help. On a choice grill you will turn down the temperature until it hits 150, then press down one more time. If you have any more questions, let us know at support@greenmountaingrills.com! We are happy to help.
How long does it take for it to come to temperature how long does it take before you can set it to temperature what temperature can you sear meat at and how long does it take to achieve that temperature? When it burst Dick nights do you need to leave the door open or closed or put to drip trays back or not and at which point there is a lot lacking in this video to be Honest is there any other video references from the manufacturer?
On initial startup and every startup, at what point are you able to close the lid? I’ve seen videos of users closing their lid too early and experiencing a small explosion within their smoker.
You can keep that lid closed the entire beginning. If you are worried about any complications you could leave that lid open until the thick white smoke subsides. Typically, it's an excess of pellets in the firepot or a weak igniter that can cause what you are describing.
How efficient is the green mountain grill on burning pellets ? how long will a 20lb bag last or should i say does it burn 1lb per 30min etc. ? hot burn 1lb per ? time ? slow cook 5 lbs per HR etc?
a minute ago How disappointing. We saved up to get this smoker and 2 months in the heater core goes out!! My wife saved up for this grill for me for Father’s Day!! I thought it was the best thing EVER!! Told everyone about how awesome it was and that you need to get one.. pfft!! After it broke I looked at it Differently. Yes the sent a replacement and that’s great and all but , spending 1k on a grill and having it break down is Totally unacceptable. I have a propane grill I bought from Walmart for $350 and it’s been with me through rain or shine for the last three years and it starts up every single time. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND GMG FOR ANYTHING!!!! It’s sounds crazy GMG but you all need to FIGURE IT OUT!! Stop wasting good peoples money on a terrible product!!
Thanks, I was notified that my grill/smoker was delivered to my dealer yesterday. We are going to pick up our Peak Prime 2.0 this Monday! 😊

The grill does a good job if you can keep a circuit board from going haywire I’m on number 2 won’t get another

I just bought this model. My temps are all over the place. The set up is confusing IMO. Other units are simpler.
arent these grills loud?
You hardly notice it.
My heater broker after the first use 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 hope I can get my money back
Great grill but your app sucks. I have nothing but issues. I get zero notifications.

Same thing just happened to me today. Had a 200 dollars worth of meat ready to go this morning and the igniter doesn't work
Disappointed as hell
