I much prefer the idea of utilizing the rail network and having bicycles. Getting furniture back to the house would be the only issue I could see. Good advice and content, thanks 👍🏻
Hi again. Curious if you found local train stations had places to lock up your bikes rather than the hassle of taking on the train? I wasn’t actually looking the last fall when in the south, including Leece, but at the same time I don’t recall seeing.
HI James- no we did not notice any places to lock up bicycles. Personally I would take a taxi to the station or catch a train back to town one less thing to worry about!
Hi, a question about an italian driver’s license. I’m 60 and have my U.S. driver’s license for 42 years. When moving to Italy, do I have to start all over again - written exam, road test, etc? And, would that do-over all have to be done in the Italian language - no exceptions? Thanks!
If you plan to live in Italy, full time, and own a car, you are supposed to get an Italian driver's license. You can legally drive for one year with your US and an international driver's license. To get an Italian driver's license is quite difficult.

Hi ibenglish! They deliver furniture locally for a small fee you shouldn't have any problem with that!
Always great info on your channel. Thank you.

We haven’t gotten them yet - our friends have and they said it’s not too difficult they aren’t fluent in Italian
Hi Jennifer. What is your email address? I'm trying to find it while on my smartphone but don't see it. I'm interested in doing a consultation.
