I've heard the i7 just isn't worth in on the Alpha as no matter what you will experience some throttling as the system just can't provide the power to run an i7 at full power under load.
JohnnyThund3r at full load, and under high GPU consumption this machine here would have buckled its knees and died. Luckily I was able to get to bios patched
Sjrick I not agree with you more. For such an expensive machine fresh out of the box I wish I would have posted the error log (which I was so tired I forgot) for everyone to see. However, in the end it turned out to be a really nice rig.
titanwolf119 it’s either “hyper spin” or “big box/launch box” which takes a lot of time to set up with all of those different console emulators. It doesn’t come with those games naturally regarding the program he is using.
law56ker it wasn't mine. A customer sent it in for me to configure. He bought it straight from Dell and had it delivered here but it had a bad bios Flash. Likely they released a patch to resolve the issue and my sanity. It had a Nvidia GTX 960
This seems like a really good system for livingroom emulation, i have the older version, what disadvantages do you see in buying this instead of a desktop pc. It's amazing that they fit the 960 desktop graphics card in this thing
Incredible work and dedication looks awesome keep up the good work.
Thank you
Maaan I wish those Xbox One controllers worked on my gaming rig the older ones

You should never have this much trouble for a brand new pc out of the box. I think I will steer clear of this one.
