Anyway, a much larger suitcase would have been required to hold enough nitrate to obliterate the carpenter shop. I suppose it was routine at that time for films to have absurdly small pyrotechnics to depict in reality much much larger blasts, so you can't really blame them but you'd think that enough people at that time who'd been through 2 world wars would know what real explosions were like. I wonder how they viewed that obvious disparity?
