I went to Magic Kingdom last November and for only one day. It was sort of a last minute trip and was able to make all my Fast Pass selections for my group about 2 weeks before and then ended up changing it the morning of since we were running late. All of the selections (mostly things I knew my niece would enjoy) were set for the morning/early afternoon and once I used them all I added more as they came available on the app. The Fast Passes totally helped out in getting a lot of attractions into that day. Made for a memorable trip!
Thanks for the info we are planning our first trip to Disney World we have been to Disneyland many of times so glad to hear about the new fast passes before it was to late
I've been to Disney world SEVERAL times and had no idea you could plan an extra fast pass after using up all 3. I'm going to the magic kingdom may 13th and I will 100% take advantages of this
Don't forget that with the addition of Pandora in AK, they will now be on a tier system also. Both Pandora rides are "tier 1" and everything else is "tier 2".
Stephen Strawn Yes! I wish there was a way to updated videos, since this was made last summer. But yes, now DAK will have a tiered FP system. So MK is the only park that does not have one.
This video was so helpful. We are going in November and I was wondering what your currently recommend for FP in the Animal Kingdom? With Pandora now open I am not sure what I should get my FP for. New sub here. Thanks.
Hello. You said in your video that after you use 3, you can go to the kiosk an get more until the park closes or depending on how many time you have, but is there a limit after those 3 to get more?
My only question would be what wouldn't you fastpass? 2adults (don't like thrill rides) my first day in the parks I'm going to be looking for fast passes after my lunch at be our guest and am not sure if I should use it on enchanted tales with belle and it's a small world or not?
Can you use fast pass+ if you end up getting your ticket from another location besides Disney.com? My family and I are getting tickets but we aren’t sure if we will be able to use it. Please answer this question it would be super helpful! Thanks.
I'm planning a trip with a group that's interested in both Soarin and Frozen Ever After. Would it be possible to schedule a FastPass for one on one day of our trip and the other on a different day?
Going in a few weeks with my teen son who's never been. If we get there early and during the week, do we have a good chance of hitting most of the rides without a long wait? Also, can you schedule fast passes for 2 different parks in the same day?
It's really hard to say if the parks will be busy or not, even during the week. Disney has been pushing the off-season with different promotions so it may or may not be busy. If you plan it out, you should be able to hit a decent amount. And no, guests can only make FastPass+ selections in advance at ONE park per day. When you are at the park on the actual day-of and you use all three of your FP, you may select others at a different park.
Can you make a FP selection, for 4th one for the day for instance, from your phone? Let's say after I ride one that day, can I pull up the app and book my next? Or how does that work?
I REMEMBER THE PAPER FAST PASSES! The reason they removed those(this is my theory)is because sometimes people didn't want the fast passes so gave them away to other people(a lot of people game me fast passes)
Can you clarify something? I was told by a CM that once your 3 FP's are used (and if you want to get another one), you must do it at a kiosk. I'm going to WDW in a little over a month and like to have a strategy. I have tried to get more on the app and could not get it to work, but did that change?
I love the FastPass system at WDW, but I recently went and was disappointed with the experience at TestTrack. I waited over 40 minutes in line using a Fast Pass and ended up not getting on because it suddenly decided to rain. One of the workers gave me a FastPass that I could use for any attraction (except Frozen Ever After and IllumiNations) so I decided to go the next day. However, the line was the same. I ended up going on as a single rider instead. I would recommend NOT getting a FastPass for this attraction. The single rider line will most likely be shorter.
I have a question, I am going on a Disney vacation for the first time in 6 years, the last time I went there were the paper fast passes. This is all very new to me and I would like to know if I am going with a party of 6 people, can each of us (myself, my parents, and my brothers) make 3 fast pass selections for the group? Or will we all have the same ones, say I were to make 3 fast passes for all of us. Do you know how that works? If you do please let me know, it would be so very helpful!!
Kaitlyn Crosset hi there. Each individual person needs to have a FastPass+. Now, one person can make them, just all of your accounts on My Disney Experience will have to be linked so one person can do it for the group. When is your vacation? If you haven't booked yet, I recommend booking with a Disney travel agent (I can give you my info if you want) and they book all FP+ for your group for no charge.
When I go to WDW, the party I'm going with is splitting the day between multiple parks, meaning we're going to Epcot in the morning and Animal Kingdom during the afternoon. Can I book fast passes for two different parks in one day? Like book one fast pass for Everest and then use the other two for attractions at Epcot?
Bugger. I'm planning a trip to WDW and was counting on being able to make 3 fastpass reservations per park. Would it be possible to make, say, one fastpass reservation for one lark and two for another on the same day?
Nate Adams you sign up for My Disney Experience on the Disney website and link your ticket online. Once you have your ticket linked you can get Fast Passes 30 days before the day you plan on going.
I'm going for my first trip at the end of March. the 60 day mark will be in five days. however, when I look at the My Disney experience page for fast passes, it only gives me the option to book them for 30 days from today's date. (I'm staying on property and my reservation is linked) will this automatically update on the 60 day mark?
Savannah Lee By them opening up fast pass reservations on the world wide web, its forcing us to plan our rides ahead of time. It sucks. Its creating a higher demand for the rides than before.
We are going to the parks for 3 days but only staying at the resort two nights. Does that mean we can only book 60 days in advance for two of the days?
Magical Moments by Miranda like which ones or should I get my magic band when the store opens and connect it to the app then that morning book my rides?
It depends on the day. It's not specific rides that run out, but generally the coasters run out quick. Whenever you purchase your park ticket, that's when you link it to your account. You do not need to buy a magic band if you don't want. You just need to make sure the ticket number is on your My Disney Experience.
Planning a last minute trip to WDW because my company has decided to send me to Orlando and I am going to make a vacation out of it. And I am stressing about not being able to get FastPass+ because it is so last minute.
84naturalbeauty10 You can do it for everyone, but you need to have everyone attached to your "family and friends" account first. You can create them if they don't have one already. Their ticket must be linked to their name.
no its really not. it wouldn't be much good to someone else since its linked to your MDE. they could not use it for FP+ unless they knew your times, they couldn't use it for entering the parks unless they have your finger, they couldn't using it for photopass unless they have your MDE account info to look at the pics later, they couldn't use it for dining plan credits unless they knew your PIN, they couldn't use it for charging items back to your room unless they had your PIN... a lost magic band is no big deal really other than the fact that you'd have to spend money to purchase another one.
disneyworlddreamer Thank you so much for your additional comment! You can actually go to a FP+ Kiosk to check out the times on the magic band. Either way, the information IS on there, like I said. I am very much aware how the system works but I appreciate you trying to help! Have a magical day!
Am I the only one that believes that this new Fast Pass + totally sucks? Now I have to plan my day in the park 60 days in advance? What a horrible thing for Disney to have pulled on its guests. The old system worked so well, why would they change it? Now I am re-thinking my decision to visit Disney World. This system takes ALL the fun out of everything.
When I last went, I totally forgot to book fastpasses, but I never had an issue getting fastpasses the day of for the rides I wanted the morning of. I think the new system streamlines it for people. And also makes it possible to cancel fastpasses if you aren't going to use them so other people can.
exhausting planning out the dining and fast passes! So stressful. Am due to go at busiest time of year so risk missing the hot rides if I don’t accept passes late in the day if this is the only time they are available. This means I won’t be able to cash in more throughout the day as they are tied up. I have bought the mytouringplans.com subscription to try and make best of it. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Early bird gets the worm. It's literally not that hard, just plan ahead. When there is SO much to do at the parks, it's nice planning reservations and rides ahead of time so all the other things can be in the moment.
This is great. I wasn't sure if myself and another person could get on a ride at the same time. Nice video
"Say Jason and I were in a fight and we didn't want to go on X-ride together anymore...!"
You are funny! Lmao. Love it.
Very good. Best explanation so far. I'm a Subscriber now

I have to make my selections in a few weeks and your video helped out a lot! I absolutely love you channel, please make more videos.
Thank you so much for your advice Miranda! I'm going tomorrow, I'm so excited!!
Thanks for the info we are planning our first trip to Disney World we have been to Disneyland many of times so glad to hear about the new fast passes before it was to late
SO glad you made this video! Thank you so much! I am headed to disney here in a few days and we were so confused!
I love your videos!! I'm spending my 15th bday in February with my friend and I'm so exited!! LITERALLY WATCHING ALL !
Thanks for this vid, planning to go in late June, and this helped since I was use to the old park ticket way lol Appreciate it!
Oh this was so helpful! I couldn't figure out if I could book FPs for ALL of my days, or if I had to only do 3. Thanks
I've been to Disney world SEVERAL times and had no idea you could plan an extra fast pass after using up all 3. I'm going to the magic kingdom may 13th and I will 100% take advantages of this
I like your in depth thorough approach!! I guess WDW could not avoid this change as the crowds keep growing and the need to plan ahead increases...:)
I'm planning my second trip to WDW and this is super helpful! I missed so much last time because of three little ones slowing us down lol
Don't forget that with the addition of Pandora in AK, they will now be on a tier system also. Both Pandora rides are "tier 1" and everything else is "tier 2".

Do you recommend a fast pass for Ariel's Undersea Adventure?
Thanks I'm making my fast passes in 10 days and found this helpful

Magical Moments by Miranda when will you make a new video I love your videos

Nancy Bechamp You can add more on the app once they're all done! You don't have to go to a kiosk.

Nate Adams you sign up for My Disney Experience on the Disney website and link your ticket online. Once you have your ticket linked you can get Fast Passes 30 days before the day you plan on going.
Thank you Miranda

Erin Nicholls hi! It won't show up until your actual 60 day mark
Magical Moments by Miranda oh perfect! thank you !
I'll be the one who wakes up at 7am to book them haha!
How much does it cost with your tickets?
please do the magic bands video soon!
If you are staying two nights, WDW considers that three days so it will open up for all three of your dates :)
Is it possible that I can book my fast passes when I first arrive to the park instead of 30 days in advance if it is a last minute trip?
You can do it the day of, but the more popular attractions may be out of FastPass+ availability for that day.
Magical Moments by Miranda like which ones or should I get my magic band when the store opens and connect it to the app then that morning book my rides?

Planning a last minute trip to WDW because my company has decided to send me to Orlando and I am going to make a vacation out of it. And I am stressing about not being able to get FastPass+ because it is so last minute.
man!! forget all this, ill just stick with california disneyland. i was there a couple weeks ago and the maxpass system kicked ass.
Vocal fryyyyyyyyyyyy
Can i book a fp with just my name for my entire family or do I have to use all of their fp as well?
84naturalbeauty10 You can do it for everyone, but you need to have everyone attached to your "family and friends" account first. You can create them if they don't have one already. Their ticket must be linked to their name.
Were you able to get Frozen Ever After? :)
Haha! Yes I was!! Can't wait to ride it in a few weeks :)
Thank you so much!!! My doubts were cleared up :D
just an fyi nothing is ON your magic band or ticket.
everything is linked to MDE. magic bands and tickets are just a way to access the info.
disneyworlddreamer Right, but technically if it is linked to your magic band then the information is on your magic band.
no its really not.
it wouldn't be much good to someone else since its linked to your MDE.
they could not use it for FP+ unless they knew your times, they couldn't use it for entering the parks unless they have your finger, they couldn't using it for photopass unless they have your MDE account info to look at the pics later, they couldn't use it for dining plan credits unless they knew your PIN, they couldn't use it for charging items back to your room unless they had your PIN...

The new fast pass system is awful. The magic is dying now.
