Setting the stage: You're a young man whose village suffered a catastrophe 3 years ago. On that fateful night, you and your friend were attacked by a pair of vagabonds. They've just now returned, kidnapping your friends in their quest to unleash a forbidden and long-sealed-away power on the world. You have finally cornered them on top of a tall lighthouse, and you have gained the upper hand in battle. As they fall to their knees, lightning flashes and they fuse! A light blinds you, and as you blink the spots out of your eyes, you see a two-headed dragon where your foes were!
The theme of this song is pairs of foes who, together, make up an opponent greater than the sum of the parts. For that, I used battles from these two phenomenal games. There are four songs included in this remix:
Saturos's battle theme
Saturos and Menardi's battle theme
Fusion Dragon battle theme (the aforementioned two-headed beast)
Masa & Mune's battle theme (aka Chrono Trigger boss theme 2)

This is my first attempt at a serious remix, and to be honest, it shows. I bit off more than I could chew, but I think it pulled together well enough.
How does this not have more views?!? I've been listening to Saturos battle remixes all evening and this has gotta be one of (if not the) best! And the Saturos and Menardi part is downright chilling. Love the piano. Congrats man!
Do you care about all games you come across? Not many people have experienced and/or care too much for it. People have different likes/dislikes. While you and I may enjoy it, this doesn't mean others will too making it silly to ask that question.
This is the best! So elegant, yet insidious, just like these villains should be!

They initially wanted to make Prox the strongest city in all of Wayard don't forget.
All for Prox (and by extension, Weyard), yes, but they most certainly went about it the wrong way.
"We need to get these magic baubles from this backwater town so we can light the lighthouses so the world stops falling apart."
-"Okay. Let's make a token attempt at diplomacy, and when that fails, let's just sneak in and try to circumvent the protections on the baubles."
"Hmm. That set off a trap that killed most of our guys and almost killed some townsfolk. Let's 'rescue' them and convince their son to help us do the thing. Also, let's beat the tar out of these two random kids that happened to wander by and see us."
-"That was fun. Now let's wait several years until those kids and that weird old guy disarm the trap, then kidnap some of them as hostages to force them to give us the baubles."
"Oooh, turns out this place is actually a volcano and taking the baubles makes it erupt. Let's take our hostages and leave those other kids (who are friends with our ally that we need to enter at least one of the lighthouses) to die.
-"Those kids still have that last bauble that we are definitely going to need to finish our mission. I foresee no problems in leaving them behind in an exploding volcano."
"Hey, look, those kids survived somehow and even managed to hold onto the bauble. Let's continue holding their friends hostage in hopes of forcing them to do what they probably would have done of their own free will if we bothered to explain the situation."
-"Awesome. Politely asking people for help is for chumps."
"Glad we're on the same page. Now let's continue to destroy everyone who even looks at us funny -- after all, we're doing this to save the world! The ends justify the means!"
"Did nothing wrong"
They murdered loads of Tolbi soldiers and scholars at Venus Lighthouse.
They caused a disaster that almost whipped out an entire village.
They created a landslide that would have killed Hsu had Isaac not saved him.
They pushed that girl turned into a tree into the river, this one is particularly damaging because there was no reason whatsoever.
They kidnapped Sheba to further their own means, and mistreated her.
Saturos and Menardi were not good people, even though their primary objective was to save Prox and by extension all of Weyard by restoring Alchemy, even there intentions there were dodgy, as Agatio later revealed they wanted to seize the power of Alchemy themselves and use it so Prox could conquer other nations.
They would've had to be stopped eventually, Isaac served them some cold hard justice.
Maybe they should've said "please" to Vale's elders, for starters.
By far the best remix on TH-cam. Good work!

Genshin impact and dragalia lost need to make badarse characters like this. 90’s style gambit, cyclops, and robocop full face headband.
I'm usually not fond of Saturos and Menardi's theme, but in this remix, it sounds so much better.

Their encounter at the Mercury lighthouse in a nutshell
lol its one of the most disastrous boss fight in game industry history. If you unable to beat Saturos at Mercury Lighthouse you will need to reset your game data and start it all over from new game.

2:26-3:00 Is that Chrono Trigger?
Oh is it ever! 1:59-2:59 is actually all Chrono Trigger. It was a little tough to blend in, but I think it was worth it.

Good remix for the first two minutes. 3rd minute is aimless filler, 1:58-2:58. End is rhythmically inaccurate, from 3:15 onwards. The end is like a orchestra playing to a metronome.
