The Amazing Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia - in 4k Part 1 of 2

- We got to Plitvice Lakes National Park on Oct 1, 2020, and were treated to a very empty park! Besides not having to deal with the usual crowds, especially on walkways just big enough for two across, I found that crowds make taking good photos and videos more difficult especially with a big old tripod.
Enjoy part 1 of our trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park in 4k! Sorry about the slow motion parts being lower quality but I don't have anything that can record 4k in 120fps or higher. The best I have for now is 1080p at 120fps.

Yep, all that water! I actually have been keeping an eye on a nice stereo microphone so I could capture ambient sound more naturally. Waiting for that sale though. Sadly with the 4k video even 12 minutes is over 4GB and I can't have files bigger than 4GB on my phone, which I usualy use to upload.
Wish I was there to hear waterfalls. So many cascading down the rocks. Wow! Do you know when you are near waterfalls your blood pressure goes down. Relax muscles, calming effects. And negative ion in the atmosphere cleans body and soul. I will put Croatia to my bucket list. Thanks Jay! Oh meditative music so perfect.
The whole place is pretty amazing and you should totally go. It's a HUGE park so I would recommend 2 days at minimum especially if you love hiking. You can see the highlights in one day if you strategically took the bus and boat but what's the fun and relaxation in that right?

Very beautiful National Park!
They did an amazing job building out the walkways right near so many cascades so you can get up close and experience the mist and sounds. It's well worth the entry price.

I hope you're doing well as well. The graphic is actually pretty easy with Davinci Resolve. It's just a lot of keyframing but didn't take too long. It's like the Monty Python cartoons.
