    In your opinion, what's are some of the most important qualities of a job site radio?

      Portability, connectivity & battery for me. M12 radio/charger is most used. Packout is used in the workshop. I’ve a hand held usb box that’s great for when I’m working from room to room

      The rolling tray top is a nice touch lol seriously tho the main features I want out of a portable radio Bass and decent volume firstly Bluetooth compatibility, optimization for playing files of various types not just mp3 etc, quick connection usb c charging port option of using it to charge other devices would be nice, ip67 rated,

    Been using the pack out radio for over a year. That has been the best Milwaukee radio since the original Rockford-Fosgate one. Pack out has 2 subs speakers, the floor at the last house we worked on. 😂

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had that Rockford-Fosgate radio and it was awesome. Eventually the speaker started to crackle after many years of use. It was a heavy radio, but worth it.

    Awesome video Mark! I’d say some of the most important qualities I’d look for are durability on the job site( make sure it can take a proper beating), sound quality and volume, and that it would not need plugged in, but battery could last all day.

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks, it looks like it will hold up well on the job site. Other than that, it checks the boxes on sound quality, runtime, etc.

      No I wouldn't. I've been producing a variety of 32 GB chips with printouts to list the hundreds or thousands of songs on the chips. My Albums chip contains 730 of the best albums from the 50's to the 2020's. All without THD or clipped waves. They sound fantastic!!! @@MarkThomasBuilder

    I really want to get one but don't want to drop the funds without knowing how long the battery lasts on full volume. Usually some of these speakers lack mid range or some bass. Usually I listen to hardstyle, Rawstyle, frenchcore or hardcore and notice it compared to maybe your car speaker.

    How does the sound quality compared to the m18/m12 jobsite radio

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The M12 radio is great! It's nice and portable and can hook onto a screw or nail on the wall. The M12 sounds good as you turn it up a little louder, where as this M18 sounds rich and full at all levels.
