Definitely a classic, its a 90s rnb album mostly. Just a nostalgic feel overall.

Not liking AM Paradox, Lost, Into, Sonder Son, or Fck the World is crazy imo, especially if you like this project
Brent is hit or miss for me….I think the main issue I have is it doesn’t sound like he’s singing to the beat selection…like the song was written separately from the beat itself….only sometimes does it sound cohesive.
Facts, big fan of Brent but songs like “belong to you” are def hard to hear. Melody is off

My recent gripe with Brent is he so focused on being cool that it feels like his focus on music is slipping maybe not cool but he’s almost too nonchalant and it’s showing in the work now . These last two projects are cool and have good music but it doesn’t make me feel like Sonder Son did or the album after. Even when I went to his concert it’s like he was too cool to really just lose himself into his performance and perform. He still performed and sounded good but something was lacking
Agreed. Might be just the head space he’s in right now. From what he has said in interviews, he’s moving at a fast pace in the industry. He is at his peak of popularity right now, so he might not be as honed in on the art as he once was.
Brent isn’t for everyone, he’s the future 🔮. Y’all got a lot of catching up to do!

I’m glad I’m not the only one that thought it felt like a mixtape. I fuck with Brent hard since 2016 but this album, with the exception of a few tracks, felt leftovers from wasteland that didn’t make the cut but Brent didn’t want to leave them in the vault.

@@sskatin7878 It's still one of the best releases of this year, I actually bought it from iTunes. People either fuck with Brent or they don't, I fuck with him for a minute now. Brent and Kelela have the best male and female R&B albums of the year.

Love Brent’s music, been listening to him since 2015, this is my least favorite album by him. Idk what it is but coming from his last 2 albums I just expected something way different tbh I feel what I don’t like is the best selection, wasteland and fuck the world had this more thought provoking, long drive, pull up to the cookout, park infront of shorty crib with the windows down volume at a subtle 15 and some henny in your system type of vibe, but this album idk I just can’t get with it at and tried listening multiple times.
