it's hard to find someone more detached from reality than Krugman

Mr Krugman knowledge of economy is of cognative perception as it represents all the books he has red in his life time. So to say his reality is delusional.

detached from reality, please help us understand your view. A good read by Thomas Piketty may help us to see reality. It's a part of history called patrimonial capitalism, it is worth a look and is not good for democracy.

the man has not made a single correct prediction for the last 30 years. sad for the Nobel committee and sad for a world that listens to people like him.

They need to choose peace not Chaos and really be FOR THE PEOPLE, not dark money that leads to further terrorism and global supremacy.

disaster scenario would be - the day janet yellen puts out a bunch of bills, notes and bonds - and find she has no bids, absolutely none.
regardless what you say, these excesses by way of wars, funding proxy wars is all necessary to keep the dollar dominance without which us would go bankrupt in a second

Analytical ability or deep insight do not translate to ability to predict the future. Don‘t discount Krugman’s talent. Krugman won Nobel prize on account of his papers on analyzing economic conditions and events.

How much wealth does the U.S. truly have? I mean starting with what's in the Treasury and the Federal Reserve, and all of the banks and their accounts receivable. Then add up all the real estate and other noncash assets we own.

US debt and the dollar will gradually degrade relative to Chinese Yuan as the growing debt load acts as a stronger brake on economy; day of recogning draws closer.

It shows that Nobel economic prize is a poor indicator of scholarly vigor. It should be taken back if failure like Krugman persisted. It's rather embarrassing.

At this very critical times when big powers rivary is spiraling dangerously out of control on the brink of Armageddon, Paul is on the side of war mongering rather than coexistence. He's definitely not one in tune with the vast majority of struggling Americans either.

The world before the Bretton Woods system is a different world. Examples from that time are hardly suitable. Is the desire to close the border a desire for victory for Putin?
