    This is a fabulous device. I stream Amazon Music hd via ldac from my phone to a Cambridge Audio amp and Dali speakers and it sounds epic. The connection is rock solid and I've never had any drop outs at the 990kbps setting.

    Hi.
    Thanks for the video.
    This product is great.
    I want to buy it but I have read opinions on the internet that say that you have to pair the phone every time the bluetooth receiver is turned on.
    It is true?
    Or do you have bluetooth memory?
    Thank you.

    You are Super. I am using my 2 pairs earphones (tiso i6 and syllable s101) since 2019. But first time i saw a video about phone codec and bitrate settings. I will get high performance from my earphones, you are great, many thanks. I want to buy New tws aptx-hd earphones, can you give me any brand and model about New tws aptx-hd earphones please?
    Best regard from İstanbul.

    Do you have to manually pair it with your phone each time you disconnect it from the receiver?

    I own a Ifi Zen Blue bought on Amazon three weeks ago and I connected it to an old amplifier ( Akai AM U33) via RCA cables. I switched the selector on the rear in "Analog". Did I do it right? Then I would like at the same time connect it to an active speaker with coaxial output via digital. Do you have any suggestions about the speaker to choose? Budget between 100-150 Euro. Thanks and please forgive my written English

    Greetings, is there a significant audio difference between using the RCA connections vs the digital connections to your amplifier? I have a Rega IO and there are not any digital inputs. Thank you

    Most bluetooth receiver volume will be low compared to the music system's cd/radio. Does this rectify that?

    I'm currently using a Chromecast audio connected via toslink to a Cambridge CXA60 which has its own DAC. Is this likely to improve the sound quality over the Chromecast audio or will the DAC in the amp determine that? I'm primarily a Spotify user, currently via a Pixel 2 XL over WiFi to the Chromecast. I like the fact that Chromecast doesn't drop out of I walk away which Bluetooth often does. Thanks.

      If you connect the Zen blue to your Cambridge amp via RCA cables it will use the Zen blue dac. If you connect it via the digital inputs it will use the Cambridge CXA60 dac. I would try both to see which you prefer. The Cambridge uses a Wolfson dac whereas the Ifi Zen blue uses an ESS Sabre dac.

    hola, puedes reproducir via bluetooh ( WAV 1.4 MBS " 1412kbps de 16 bits a 44.1khz) o soportara PCM 1.5 "1500kbs 24 bits a 48 khz o FLAC superiores hi res de 96 khz o solo aguanta bien el LDAC de 990 kbs. debido a que todo lo demas codecs apestan son basura disfrasada de hd , con valores que no sobrepasan los 746 kbps y todo emulado. gracias.

    • @ScanProAudioTV
      @ScanProAudioTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Iphone is limited to AAC codec, which is ok, but there's no LDAC or APTX-HD, which have the best quality.

    Auris is the best Bluetooth receiver right now, son. For price and performance, it's the best one out there hands down. Not iFi.

      Can you say why ? I guess my top 3 on my list is Auris, Zen blue and audio engine b1 . Which one and why ? Thanks

    but not a MacBook, lol apple really fu$$%% us audiophiles and has left us with the dinosaurs with its atavistic grip on the ACC streaming codec. everyone else is using newer standards like aptxHD ect. apples recalcitrance has left us in the dark ages. why cannot some one make a usb streamer that could plug into a MacBook and stream the capable 24/96 digital to a wireless device such as a zen blue. this would not require a hardware or software update by apple. i can already stream a wired digital high res audio signal from my MacBook. this wold simply be a transmitter that would convert the the USB from the MacBook to a format that could be interpreted by the receiving device. i would love to stream Tidal from across the room via my MacBook. this would obviate signing up for Signet, since i can receive Tidal over WiFi. save dome money too.

    4.4mm jack? dude. we already have 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 6.3mm jacks
    What a POS for needlessly introducing "new" connectors.

    • @Nick_2i
      @Nick_2i 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dude. You do realize that 4.4mm is a widely used connection that is better in many ways than the others you mentioned.
      Also sony was the one who introduced it, not ifi.

    • @HSNG10
      @HSNG10 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      3.5 and 6.3 are single ended. 4.4 and 2.5 are balanced, with 4.4 bring more robust in build vs the small 2.5. 4.4 pentaconn as introduced by Sony seems to be the best solution going ahead for balanced output, relatively compact compared to XLRs, and yet robust compared to 2.5
