@@snnnaaaaaakeeeee4470it makes it SO much better when you finally beat it though… that log sequence at the end is burned in my brain forever from when I was like 5-6 years old playing this haha.
Yup it still upsets me that they didn't... Simpsons arcade game should have been ported to so many consoles.. even imagine a GBA port! The possibilities would have been endless. However, I still do enjoy the Simpsons console games that were made.
How the hell This is one of, if not, THE hardest games Ive ever played. And I've played games people have said are super difficult (Earthworm Jim, Dark Souls,, Cuphead, etc)
Actually, this game is not that hard. The first time you play, it seems impossible but it's more of a problem related to the controls. Once you know the layout of the stages and you get used to the horrible controls, it's a lot easier. The games you mention are not really difficult, they are just famous. Try China Miner (Commodore 64, Amiga), that's real hell compared to those games, haha. Cheers!
Those games weren't that hard for me, but are ones that Ive seen people say are super difficult. This one actually does seem more related to the timing and layout than anything else, but it seems like its something you have to memorize EVERY room for :p still, pretty difficult game. And oh man, China Miner was a tough one as well. But that one is also reliant on the layout and timing. I finished that game when I was very small, after days of playing it. I still have yet to finish this one though ):
Man, if you could beat China Miner, then you can finish ANYTHING, haha. This game is a lot easier than that, trust me. The only thing is that you have to remember everything but it's not a long game, so there's not too much to memorize. Good luck! I'm sure you will beat it soon!
You don't have to collect the super burb balls because you can also beat Sideshow Bob with a lot of water bombs. You can stock up on water bombs in the cave before the boss screen.
This was such a fun game, came accross it on a cd filled with dos games. Had fun with it but it was brutally hard and one of the levels didn't work as the game was missing a file :(
Do you have to have previously beaten levels for the music to play when you re-enter them? I just tried playing the game for the first time on dosbox, and say for example, I enter the Itchy and Scratchy level, no music plays while it loads. Is this normal? The only music I was able to hear was during the intro. There's sound effects, no music.
It's been a while since I last played this game but you don't need to beat the levels to make the music play. It must be some kind of problem with dosbox or the sound configuration. Try changing the sound settings. I hope you can solve it.
I can see why I never heard of this game, it's weird, the stages are weird, the story makes no sense, the enemies are super generic and there's like no sense of direction. I really don't see why Krusty Land had to be a Jungle Theme, I am assuming because of Sideshow Bob and the way he dresses.
+J.J. Jackman "I wish you all a Merry Christmas, except for Guardian (a friend of mine)." It was just an inside joke as we were on Christmas holidays when I uploaded this.
I have fuzzy memories of playing this game when I was really little. Probably one of the first games I ever played. Never got very far in it though. lol But watching this, seeing these graphics and hearing the music and sfx after so, so long is a trip! I especially remember those falling leaves with angry eyes for some reason. And the Babysitter Bandit in the creepy basement level. lol
Oh man, I NEVER finished this game. It was just too hard! I finally see it all and THE RADICAL ZONE!!!
This game actually looks pretty fun
Well, I like the game and it's quite fun but controls need some time to get used to.
Trust me the difficulty is NOT fun

This is pretty sick for 1991 MS DOS. Imagine if Konami had made the console games.
Yup it still upsets me that they didn't... Simpsons arcade game should have been ported to so many consoles.. even imagine a GBA port! The possibilities would have been endless. However, I still do enjoy the Simpsons console games that were made.
Good job man, I remember playing for hours and hours with my siblings as a kid. Thanks for the memories.
I tried playing this game a few times and the game is pretty damn hard. The level designs are insane.
The Simpsons games in the nineties were pure hell.
Simpsons arcade was the only good one
i had finished this game. wow 28 years ago :/ thanks man for refreshing my memories.
I've never completed this game, it's still pretty hard compared to recent games, awesome job man :)!
Thanks for the upload so many memories I really appreciate it to be able to watch the game play play after all these years is fantastic
Impressive run! I remember struggling with this game as a kid.
Music is dope AF
1:43, 11:49 Love the Tracey Ullman shorts references.
I wouldn't doubt there wasn't a whole lot of First and Second Season to go around when making this.
Swinging from the ties is a Tracey Ullman reference too
I love that Adlib music!
Well they definitely got the weird part down pat!
1:03 reused scenes from the bartman music video
No, it's Deep Deep Trouble.

Yeah...I feel like Simpsons games were always ridiculously hard.
Never even heard of this one.
I never played this one, played the old arcade game and those terrible Acclaim games though. Looks like fun.
It's better than the Acclaim games, but not as good as the arcade one. Its main problem is that the controls can be a little bit unresponsive.
never heard of this until now!
I remember that hidden picture of Marge. ^^ You did however forget to show the "other" hidden picture. ;)
I didn't know that there is another one. How do you get it?
I found a hidden picture of my grandma in Mafia 2 😌
@@MrMaskaman The other one is either behind the bed or in front of the bed near the drawers, if I remember correctly!

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know that. It makes the last fight a little bit easier as you can miss some of the shots.
6:13 She's from season 1.
U absolutely beat the fuck out of that game! Legendary run!
never ever played it before..should try at least one
Hollly shit bro! Brutal nostalgia. Played this on my first IBM 300 PL PC! Still have it, working on fixing it in 2019.
i like how they used Bart's voice clips as the arcade game
We've got dogs, we've got bees, but no dogs that shoot bees from their mouth.
I feel like this might have been fun in jan 1992 but very frustrating too. Im sure it sold like hot cakes for konami.
Backthen this game was very extremely difficult for me
Great game
This was such a fun game, came accross it on a cd filled with dos games. Had fun with it but it was brutally hard and one of the levels didn't work as the game was missing a file :(
This game was Bart's Nightmare before Bart's Nightmare ever came out.
And better too
Very cool I never heard about this game!
Seems like a pretty ok Simpsons game. :)
lol they used one of those couch gags

It's officially on FOX.
So the plot is, Bart gets grounded, that's it, there's no ending. Is this an arcade video game?
No, it's an old PC game. And no, there's no ending whatsoever. It was something quite typical back in the day.
14:34 serious Pitfall Harry infringement
What the heck?!
In the bart’s room there is a hidden picture of homer dancing with a girl behind the bed!
Yes, I didn't know and several people told me after uploading the gameplay. I would have liked to show it too, but too late I guess.
Felices fiestas a ti también.
El vídeo tiene ya unos años y estamos en verano, pero gracias por las felicitaciones. Un saludo Nicolás :)
9:59 why bother with 1-UPs? Deathless means you can't die a single time.
Yes, but it's more difficult to avoid getting that life than actually getting it, haha.

It also got a very limited release.
Soy yo o el último nivel es el más "justo" en comparación a los otros?

No tengo idea de que pasa
this has some beta features of Barts Nightmare for snes like the dart gun and some backgrounds
+sanmarcos man They were both released in 1992 by different teams, so I don't really know if they were inspired by this game.

Interessante
I was able to finish the game in my old AT286 but I could never figured out what does bart say each time he enters a new level
All right! Let’s go for it man!
Are you god or something!!!!!?
I want to be my closet THAT big 😳
Perdonaron a bart en el final del juego
