To be fair and in hindsight, we dodged a bullet with koundé, he's not that assuring, not at right back and not at CB either...raphinha? Meh we got palmer and for 30 mil less.
I can see this boy being big. And I can't see us having to wait forever to get into the team. He could genuinely be the next number 9 that we've been looking for since Costa. 5m, can't go wrong
Totally agree. Really brilliant business. Hopefully he impresses in the preseason. No doubt he’ll get more playing time here than at Barca. Up to the player to make an impact now.
So many of the other Chelsea content providers are repeating their relentless negativity. We have some incredible young players in the wings and the future is bright. Lets give the new manager a chance. I have a good feeling about Santos, Guiu and Paez. Haven't seen enough of Willian to comment.
We have a wonderful talented squad. We finished 6th just 5 points of 4th with all the injuries, first time the squad played together, and no proper system. This year we will be better, really excited about the new season
At first I found the sweet sweet bell cringy now I miss it whenever it’s not there. You were correct in your previous video, people will always find a reason to have a cry
I feel really good about signing Guiu. He's cheap, talented, Barca wanted to keep him, he seems to have the right profile and the fact that he's unproven and inexperienced almost guarantees that Jackson will be going into the season as a starter so Guiu is more so a backup/support. I still hope Broja might stay and that we sell DD Fofana instead but I'm excited about Guiu. Can't really not be excited about giving some unknown kid worth 6mil some minutes at the highest level.
I like Broja but I do wonder if he's even mid level PL, he struggled at Fulham and he was alright at Southampton, but he's not turning into the talent we need. I imagine a similar pathway to solanke, he'll probably bang a few more in around 26/27 YO but we can't put him in the team and wait for that to happen
@@POMPMASJIEN I don't want to sell Datro either but Maresca wants an aerially strong and tall striker and Datro just isn't that. Unless he manages to convert to winger I see no future for him here.
Reminds me a bit of Diego Costa, but a lot more raw. Big, strong, and loves the physical side of the game. I've wanted a striker like this, even when they dont score they still bring something to the team.
Now we got two potentially great strikers who can bring something to the team even when they don't score in different forms. Jackson can offer brilliant link--up play and skills, Guiu can offer great Physicality and can really mess with the oppositions defence.
@duckway4733 very much agree. People love to bash Jackson for the misses, and being honest, a few of them were brutal. But, he always works hard, puts a lot of pressure on defenders to release the ball quickly, and his link up and hold-up play have improved significantly. Guiu is a different profile, but equally as useful. We have a heck of a lot of silk in our squad, but not a lot of steel. Watching Argentina last night and seeing Romero and Lisandro made me miss the days of Terry, Costa, Drogba, Essian, and Luiz (to a lesser extent).
He may have great potential but for a backup to Nkunku and Jackson we could of used Datro Fofana or Washington they also had great potential when we bought them
I would like to see an experimental team of all the young players we have brought in ,, santos ,Kendry,Estarvo,Gu,and the rest put them all together and see what evolves,i know about experienced players blah blah but wouldn’t it be interesting to see

Bro you’ve been a breath of fresh air with your Chelsea news. Other channels have been incredibly negative lately, and while the team surely deserves some criticism for its moves, the constant negativity becomes overbearing. So cheers to you mate.
I think Chelsea are offering a two fold plan to these players, compared to what other big clubs do. There is a pathway to the first team, but don't think that's what the selling point is. There seems to be an alternative pathway, where if they fail to break into the first team, which is more likely than people initially think, then there is a very conscious loan planning or a timely sale. Omari Hutchinson, Angelo Gabriel and Casadei might never play for us, but their moves have been positive for their developments instead of just waiting for a first team opening in another team's bench.
£5 million only it makes this deal much less of a risk compared to a lot of these other Chelsea teenager signings that have been costing roughly £25-50 million
Nice. We have a world class striker on our hands now. I hope he goes on and smashes 30 plus goals for us next season? Just the experience striker that we need.
