There are many ways to legally reduce both your personal and business tax rates by going offshore. You could move to a zero-tax country like the United Arab Emirates, Monaco, or Vanuatu. Or you could structure your business to save tax in a territorial tax country like Thailand. You could even establish tax residence in a tax haven and travel the world as a nomad.
In this video, Andrew shares six tax-friendly islands for wealthy people.

If you live on your yacht, a 40' catamaran can be parked for ci$720 a month. In the cayman Islands. Sounds better than a couple million for a place on the water.

How does being in international waters affect the clock with regards to spending less than 6 months a year in any one country? Does that time count as being part of your time in the last country you were in? Does it count towards the county you land in?

Most people have forgotten the fact that, from 1934 to 1963, there was an island under U.S. jurisdiction where the residents could live tax free. It was known as Alcatraz Island.

I enjoyed Bermuda when I stayed there about 15 years ago, loved the old school British Crown Colony vibe. People actually greet you with a Good day on the street and dress for dinner. Not for those that wear flip flops and shorts, a more elegant experience. Everything is well cared for there, so one needs a great deal of wealth to live there. They have a separate MLS system for local citizens vs the International market. So, pricing is much more inflated unless one is a citizen there. But one can have a very gracious life if they have the funds to do so.

If you move to Turks, youll want to get into kitesurfing at long bay on Provo. a love for the ocean and beach is required. Providenciales is the best island...and grace bay just had a Ritz Carlton open up and a Hyatt coming soon. Its a great weather Dec through May, then it gets too hot. Bring your own special someone, not much of a social scene.

Being stationed on Islands during my Navy days was almost like a Wilson Experience...I love islands but for long term living it's not for me...Been to quite a few and lived on some as well...The pros...simply beautiful landscapes and in most cases water to match...Laid back lifestyles along with fresh fruits and seafood...The cons...for me it was like cabin fever, isolation syndrome...especially smaller islands...seeing the same landscapes and missing true 4 seasons...I like diversity in my diet...😉🇺🇲🇵🇹🤘✌🤟👍
