Here we have a large forgotten custom country mansion that I discovered by chance one night while out shooting astrophotography time lapse footage I spotted a large run down looking home off in the distance and overheard some people nearby discussing the home and that it has been vacant for a very long time. Once inside the house, it appeared that there were once attempts made at renovations to the home, but for whatever reasons the work was stopped. It was clear that the local kids had found the place, evident by the many smashed windows, damage and vandalism. I would later learn from a local explorer that the former owners kets 65 horses in the stables on the property and starved them. I learned of something called "cribbing" "Cribbing or crib biting involves a horse grasping a solid object such as the stall door or fence rail with its incisor teeth, then arching its neck, and contracting the lower neck muscles to retract the larynx. This coincides with an in-rush of air into the oesophagus producing the characteristic cribbing grunt." While I was not able to get into the stables, this explorer has told me that the stables were badly eaten away by the horses, as a result of cribbing. I'm told that the horses were so starved that they started trying to eat the stables. I have no further information on this home, the property, the people or the fate of it all. It appears as though the people who built the house may have ran out of money. Also with the dog dishes, the chair and the jug of whatever that wasit almost looks like they have night time security there because of the
Camping chair + binoculars + doggie dishes all on the second floor of abandoned house in a wide open field leads me to guess someone has been using the place as a fancy deer hunting blind.
I don't think this house has been lived in yet looks like they were still finishing it but stopped maybe they ran out of funds to complete it such a shame lovely house
Hello from Palm Springs! I did like this video of this house in the middle of nowhere. I'm glad you didn't show us the Stables after I read that description :-( But thanks for sharing❤
Looking at the stairs and railings, my guess is it was still being finished inside. You wouldn't normally gut to that extent for a renovation, I'd think.
Definitely not finished building. Looks to be due to a bad general contractor due to water damage and mold; should not have happened if build had been new. What a dream home though. Thank you for the slower camera work.
Oh that just breaks my heart about the horses!! How incredibly cruel! On another note....the house is gorgeous! I could definitely live there if I had lots of money.
I am watching from Vancouver BC I watch all lot of these abandon home videos from a number of different explorers, stay safe visit these places with a friend never alone.
To me it appears to have never been finished. The supporting posts for the porch, the stairs, interior and exterior, where is the kitchen? I saw no trace of any kitchen appliances or sink. Water mark around dog bowls looked rather fresh to me. Homeless person? I also don’t remember seeing any bathrooms other than the en-suite. I love the exterior. All in all, a very interesting place! Thank you for sharing with us.
Since you asked, watching from New Orleans. Think this house was never finished. The driveway to the garage was never poured. There is no sign that the kitchen cabinets had ever been hung. Certainly worth a quick tour. Love the drone footage.
This looks like new construction that was never quite finished. This is something you would see if the local drug king pin went to prison before he could pay for the construction to be completed and his family went into the Witness Protection Program.
I think it was never finished so no one has lived there. What a shame it’s a beauty. I would love to have it, surely someone must own it? What a waste. I love this explore 🌹
Really interesting looking house from the outside. I like the layout inside and the uniqueness (to me) of the outside. I would love to own a home like this - preferably without the black mold though and a little more fixed up. Thank you for the explore!
Okay and i thought i lived in the middle of nowhere. Looks like someone was in the process of building and never finished. Watching from North Carolina.
This sure started out as a beautiful home and property. What a shame about the horses, though. I doubt if it was ever lived in, there are to many unfinished areas. I watch you from Wisconsin, and love your videos, thanks.
This one is kinda strange, I wonder if it was never completely finished? Even the landscaping wasn’t done. What was the other big building in this video? Shirley from Cincinnati!
I think someone was building it themselves and just ran out of money. It would be nice fixed up. But I would relocate a few doors and windows myself. Keep up the good work. Your videos rock!!!
What is up guys. Chrystal Stevenson from Louisiana. Hope your staying safe out there during this coronavirus. To me it looks like it was still being built.
Your drone footage was awesome! I really don't like modern homes, but this is country. The land is beautiful and the house itself, the wrap around porch I love it!! ( lonewolfs wifey)
I think that is an interesting endeavor to just leave there to rot under any circumstances, but obviously it happens😆 and thanks for the Peek. It actually is probably a really sad story.
Hi that one was a strange one think it was a new build left unfinished for some reason love your videos I’m from Australia my name is Pam look forward to your next one stay safe
I do like it , out in the middle of nowhere. Looks like the owners ran out of money and now it's foreclosure and the bank probably owns. Could be a good fixer upper investment for those who like remodeling. Somethings about like the stairs leading up to the house should be Windows but aren't any strange. And didn't see any kitchen? So really weird unless like I said the owners ran out of money.
Hey there! I don't think that the house was finished. Damn vandals again. I'm not sure I like this house. Feels weird to me. I live in Scarborough. Thank you for the tour and take care.
Utilities . . . in and of itself, would place this beyond my budget. Besides, how remote . . . displaced would this hood be, from an active community ?
To me it seems like the house was never finished! Like they stopped building it in the middle of it! Also that is the weirdest layout of a house I have ever seen!!
It does look like it was under construction and work has stopped. Probably run out of funds. Who paints their walls before the door and window trim is applied?
I'm wondering if they had a small electrical fire before they managed to complete construction. None of the trim work is installed, plumbing isn't completed. Maybe insurance didn't come through or they ran out of money. Would have been a nice little house though in the middle of the boonies.
It's like they bought the property and planned to fix it while they kept their horses there but ran out of money to finish the house and to feed their horses.
6:08 Look at all those receptacles (plugs) in a hallway/walkway due to those angled walls... National Electrical Code says (as I recall) you can't be more than 6' from a plug on a wall, and any wall wider than 2.5' must have a plug, that's why you see so many plugs that will likely see a vacuum at most in what looks like a hallway by the stairs.
That's so disgusting I hope those people are in jail! I don't understand it they clearly had money it's like why did they not take care of their horses?
For sure it maybe in the middle of nowhere but looks like vandels found it, such people are always on the lookout to find other people's property to steal or destroy. However looks like no one ever lived there was being constructed and it just stopped, by the looks of the front veranda looks like possibly no one has been there for a good ten years, you can go look at the city hall in this community who owns the place if you want it maybe you could get a beautiful home for a song.
Looks like in the late 90s early 2000s house you can tell because how the wood is all ready starting too turn gray if it was newly built the wood would be fresh looking and smell like fresh wood look like too me someone either ran out of money too finish the house or the contractor took the persons money.
Looks like they started building it. Stopped for some reason. Maybe someone was staying there watching the place after being vandalized to make sure nothing else happened to it?
It was going to be a beautiful home but it was never finished or lived in.the floors and lights were nice.wonder why they just left it they could have sold it and let them finish it.vandals have already left their mark.such a waste.🖒💗💗
It looks like it wasnt finished maybe they ran out of money looks like a nice house shame its sitting empty maybe tho there could be homeless people who have dogs with them a great find anyway first time on here for me i will be watching and watching these videos again

Those floors look brand new! And no interior molding around the doors/windows suggests it was never lived in.
I love that drone short you took of the house I loved outside Inside was amazing as well
I think someone was building it and never finished it.. But I would love to live there beautiful and ❤❤❤ stay safe love ya
I agree

What happened to the horses? I didn't hear him talk about horses?? 🐎
@@MistyLaneLoveConquersALL it's in the video description honey. It's awful. Dont read it if u are really sensitive 💔
Perhaps the owners died for some reason. That's all I can think of with the horses starving like that. If you find out more let us know okay?
@@cindyjofaithful4469 oh thank you so much for telling me. I usually read the description. I am so glad I didn't this time! 😔

This house is so unique and different, it most had cost to make it circular. I love it.what a shame.
I would love to live in seclusion! Nice and quiet all the time. PEACEFUL ♥️
Wow...those floors!! Gorgeous

Love watching your explorations all the way from a tiny little desert town in California!
Okay and i thought i lived in the middle of nowhere. Looks like someone was in the process of building and never finished. Watching from North Carolina.

Watching from South Carolina USA 🇺🇸
I luv watching ur work u do such a good job i watch u from Australia xoxo
Never finished enough to live in....maybe they just ran out of money. Or plans changed! Too bad; such a waste of a good start!
Not a single bathroom in this house? No toilet? Weird. Come to think of it... NO kitchen????
Your drone footage was awesome! I really don't like modern homes, but this is country. The land is beautiful and the house itself, the wrap around porch I love it!! ( lonewolfs wifey)
I would buy that house and fix it up and living it gorgeous view
definitely a new build. houses from the time period they were shooting for had very large kitchens and bedrooms.
This place is awesome! However, why didn't you explore the garage/workshop across the field?
I would live to live in that house.....curious very as to what happened or is happening with the house ....watching from Washington State
Looks like they were in the process of building the home but stopped possibly due to monet running out.
I'm in Calif . Did you notice that there was a tripod at the bottom of the stairs when you went up and gone when you came down?
I think that is an interesting endeavor to just leave there to rot under any circumstances, but obviously it happens😆 and thanks for the Peek. It actually is probably a really sad story.
Due to the temporary handrail upstairs maybe they got it ready for an inspection and indicated by the water damage possibly didn't pass.
Watching from New York

Nice house, needs finishing. Get rid of mold in garage (ironic there's mold in garage only). Squatter in house, with chair, dog and binoculars?
Love your video's....I'm in Nova Scotia Canada...
Considering the horses were starved I'm guessing they ran out of money and never finished the place.
I notice there is a lower level. There is a door to the "basement".. You can see it in the opening drone shot.
Amazing house if it were to be finished. Watching from West Virginia
Watching from Queensland Australia. Where is the kitchen in that house?
What was the big barn in the back ground ?
What was that other large building was that part of this house or something else.
It was the stables where the horses were kept
Nicole Crawford Am surprise he didn’t show it and did he say that. And that must of held a lot of horses it look so big.
Hi guys! I am watching from Alabama. This would have been a beautiful home!

Poor dog is waiting for the owner come back to the lovely house .
Beautiful house window.but so confusing.
An I don't see the kitchen..
U said completely secluded but what's up with the building across the field?
Utilities . . . in and of itself, would place this beyond my budget. Besides, how remote . . . displaced would this hood be, from an active community ?
It's actually only about a 10-15 min drive from the closest town
There’s something creepy about the view from inside out onto that wraparound deck.
I am wacthing from Brent Alambama i joined the video i glad ddogg sent me here have a nice day or night

Where is this?

After I read you comments about the horses. I thought perhaps the owners might have got a jail sentence for the horse cruelty. Hopefully

vandals have punched holes in the walls and mold is dangerous.
ITS HARD TO SAY IF ANYONE LIVED THERE ,IT LOOKS LIKE NEW IN SOME ROOMS BUT STILL NOT FINISHED .HOW WEIRD.
I wonder what ever happened to the horses , did they all died ? Bring saddest to my heart to even think about it .
