My gosh that grey/red is memorizing just beautiful. Great video thanks for sharing. I think the males being smaller but coloring would be great for smaller ponds.
Thank you Phil! It’s to keep the main channel healthy to reach most of the people. It’s better to upload here more often and the bigger videos on the main channel
In short, yes! Great buys to be had and most haven't got huge ponds to house huge koi. Many beautiful male koi and they don't come with the seasonal egg worry.
@@more_koipartner Shawn mentions Koda, I've got 5 gin rin varieties and all seem to retain smaller body structures so must be down to Koda genetics? Is this common for this breeder?
Not only has Narita and I been able to grow his GR Kohaku over 90 cm. We also have had some hobbyists grow his GR Showa the same size. Perhaps it's a different ginrin koi breeder? ginrin goshki from him are more rare, but still 70cm is not unusual. Cheers! @KoiKicks

I really like this kind of spotlight episode where you concentrate on one or two types of koi. Very informative. Thank you 👍

@KoiKicks could be. I have seen massive body’s on Kodas fish, however the majority has smaller body’s but great skin quality and patterns
